Crave is a good place to relax after a busy shopping trip. The service was very responsive, the food was good, and the atmosphere relaxing. I arrived early and was seated immediately (there were quite a few empty tables) so I could comfortably wait for my friend to arrive. We ordered drinks - I ordered a glass of wine, she requested a margarita with mixer on the side (they gave her enough mixer for several drinks). We started with sharing the chicken lettuce wraps which were tasty, but difficult to eat due to the lettuce being overfilled (bigger pieces of lettuce would have been helpful). For entrees, I ordered the miso salmon (medium rare) and it was cooked to my liking with stir-fry vegetables. My friend ordered a lemon chicken dish and substituted linguine for the potatoes. The dish comes with 3 chicken breasts, which allowed her to take some home. We did not order dessert, but the coffee was a nice ending to the meal. All in all, it was a good place for us to meet (I came from VA) and I was able to enjoy a meal that fit in with my WW points.
CRAVE is dependably good, and the service is excellent, particularly given how busy this restaurant can be. I recommend the sushi dishes and the salads. I recently had the salmon salad and it was terrific.
great for after a movie - food is simple and somewhat creative
Always excellent service! Two of us had burgers which were cooked perfectly and the fries were nice and hot. I had pasta with chicken and a moray sauce. Delicious. And my husband a chicken stir fry which was very good. Hailey was the manager and Ida our server. They were both outstanding.
Disappointed. Sent back a specialty cocktail as it tasted like lime juice and nothing else. Also sent back the mussels...they were very fishy and chewy. Sushi was also mushy and tasteless. A bit pricey for disappointing fare.
Service is declining & not much for Vegetarians or Vegans.
Felt like a bad version of the '80s with possible carpet that is at least 30 years old. The waitress was trying her best to make the guy pay for the bill. A drink and an appetizer costing $30 need to be at an exquisite level otherwise it's a rip-off.
Food was great. Waitress was nice and helpful. Restaurant was empty and looked like it needed to be cleaned/updated
Ordered chopped chicken salad. Was not chopped. Chicken was flavorless. Companion had lamb burger which was 2 spicy. Menu had changed from last visit. New menu not to my liking.
My fries were so greasy, no mayo was on my burger like requested. My burger wasnt done . I feel the server had no knowledge of the food and kept getting the manager. I decided not to order any thing . The manager only gave me a birthday brownie and ice cream for my troubles. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
With such attentive and attractive servers like Ida and Rachel and always well prepared food, this is my “go to “ place to dine.
The staff is always friendly and the ambiance upbeat and clean.
Only I would add the sushi menu has some ups and downs though generally all turns out well.
Good menu selection. Food well prepared...one exception, they served chilled steak sauce with our warm steaks. Service was good. Wine selection was good. It's in a mall so it's drafty in most places.
Happy hour was amazing!
We had the seafood paella and the Mediterranean lamb burger. Great dishes, well flavored and spiced just right. The paella is served on a bed of risotto, not rice. Nice twist. Would order that dish again.
Service was attentive and efficient.
We were seated right away. The restaurant was mostly empty, but we had a long wait to place our order and a moderate wait to get our food. We ate sashimi and tuna poke, neither of which should not take long to prepare. The food was tasty.
This restaurant is so dated that it looks dirty. Friendly server and hostess. Bar was lively. Food was mediocre at best. Chef was yelling in Spanish throughout the dinner which was at 7pm.
I was there twice in one week and all the food was deliscious - lamb and bison burgers, paella, lettuce wraps, salmon bowl, etc. Surprisingly not too noisy!!
Visited Crave Restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday. We ordered the Calamari and the Mussels & Frites for appetizers. For the entrees we ordered the Beet & Kale salad with the addition of grilled salmon, and also the Mediterranean Lamb Burger. Everything was fresh, served hot and delicious. Our drinks, one a blueberry concoction and the other a raspberry concoction were very good as well. Our server was very attentive and made sure that we were pleased with our experience, which included a special birthday dessert for my friend. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is conveniently located in Westfield Montgomery Mall where there is ample parking.
The food was okay, expensive and nothing you can’t get and a lot of other restaurants.
Last visit was pretty disappointing. Half price sushi night but the quality of the fish was poor (had fishy taste not fresh) Generally the quality of the food here has gone downhill markedly over the last 6 months
The grilled cheese and tomato basil soup is usually delightful, but today it was not
If it was my first time at Crave, I would not go back.
Based on this experience, I might still not return.
Always pleasant with excellent, friendly service. A varied menu with interesting choices. Several poke bowls, salads, tasty entrees that are well-priced.
Good fish with rice and sushi made of cooked ingredients, do not recommend sushi with raw fish there. Kids friendly place.
Excellent 1st time experience. Food and service were great
The food was really good. Everyone enjoyed what they got. We had a large group and even though our server was super nice, food and drink service was slow. We had a big group but it took 3 hours for dinner from start to finish, granted our group trickled in but probably 2 hours of waiting.
Excellent service as always. Varied menu & lots to chose from. I had a tuna poke bowl, our friends had lamb burgers & mushroom fettuccine with shrimp. Well prepared & quick service. Anthony, our server, & Hailey, the manager were very responsive.
Good casual Mall dining. Portions generous, perhaps overly so. A little noisy, but not unreasonably so.
We eat here a lot. The kitchen makes a lot of mistakes. In this instance, one bite revealed that chicken wings arrived with the wrong sauce. The kitchen took the same wings, including the one that was bitten, and dipped them in the sauce that was ordered. What an odd combo. The ahi tuna bowl was literally full of oil - practically inedible. And the place just wasn't that crowded. It seems things have slipped of late with oversight of the kitchen.
Great restaurant with a wide variety of food. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We did have an issue where we didn't get the appetizer before the meal, but without asking he removed it and replaced it with a free dessert which made up for it. Kudos for the great service!
Excellent server, good customer service. Food is tasty, but quite pricey. Do happy hour to max budget.
It is conveniently located if you are in Montgomery Mall, and the wait staff was pleasant. The food, however, was really mediocre. Oversalted and underflavored.
The waiter was nice. But the issue with the service was our entrees coming literally 15 seconds after our appetizers. I hadn’t even eaten one forkful of my salad. You really have to hold off ordering entrees until you receive the appetizers these days. Or spend $300 at an upscale restaurant.
good as usual...love the varied menu..any one in a group of people will find something to their liking
Pleasantly surprised by the diverse menu and that all the different items ordered by our party of five were very good, particularly for a restaurant inside a mall.
We were celebrating my wife's birthday. Crave was the perfect setting for the occasion!
Tiffany, the Bartender took care of us & 40 other customers without a hitch & worth amazing customer service.
Although it’s a Sunday Happy Hour offering, the food needs an upgrade on preparation & tastre as the low price point shows.
I'm a regular at Crave. The food never disappoints but the bartender was very slow and overwhelmed which made my experience bad.
Always enjoy Crave. Love the Poke bowl. I get the traditional with mango added. The steak frites is good too. My husband had the chicken stir fry & really liked it. We also had the lettuce wraps. Great - split for the 4 of us - one each
The food was fairly good, but extremely overpriced. Two starters cost about as much as two full meals at most comparable casual places. We were there at the end of the evening (8 pm on a Sunday), and the servers definitely acted like they wanted us to finish and go- NOT welcoming.
