Warm colors on the walls, comfortable booths and dim lighting create the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere at Crave, located in Akron, Ohio. Conveniently located near the convention center and the Akron Art museum, it is ideal for lunch, dinner or some cocktails before an art show or an event.
The bar at Crave offers a variety of craft beers both in bottle and on draft along with unique cocktails, such as apple cider sangria. Light fare, such as short rib empanadas or duck confit salad, is perfect for lunch. Dinner options at Crave range from the simple white pizza or a Black Angus burger to a full dinner of hangar steak or ahi tuna.
First time diner. I invited my customers to lunch and was very satisfied with the lunch menu, service and the food. Well done! I would not hesitate to return for lunch or dinner in the future.
Good selection of beers and drinks. Varied menu options. I had scallops that had almost no flavor. Service was attentive and helpful.
Had a wonderful dinner on Saturday, 10/16, and although it was Sweetest Day, the restaurant did not miss a beat. Food was terrific, cocktails outstanding, and I cannot give our server, Grace, enough compliments. She was the best.
This was my second time at Crave. My first time was a good experience, but this time it was terrible. Ordered a bottle of wine and a cheese board, wine comes out then a half hour later the cheese board come to the table. We have the cheese board at the table for 5 minutes before our entrees were delivered. So I had the waitress box up the cheese board and asked her to bring us another bottle of wine.
I cut into my steak which I ordered medium, it was as well as well could be. I looked around and couldn't find the waitress so I sucked it up and ate the steak. We finished our meals and had been out of wine for awhile at this point, and the waitress comes back to tell us that the wine we ordered was out of stock but they had another if we would like. So I told her there would be no point and to just bring the check. Mind you, this was on a Tuesday evening, not even a busy night and the service/food was terrible.
Crave is one of my favorite Akron restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting and the decor is modern, but reserved. The food is definitely worth eating, and I am never disappointed.
We could over look the noise level, but the server was clueless, useless, and usually not around. It's too bad, food is great.we have been there a few times, probably won't go back.
Great place for lunch.
Popular local establishment with local foods and creative menu. Congested dining area. Food was excellent but not if you are tired or looking for a dinner with conversation.
Always a fun experience with excellent food. I'm kicking myself for not going there more often.
Hubby chose Crave for his birthday dinner. We had a nice booth in the bar, it was very cozy and not so loud that we couldn't have private conversation but also not quiet enough to be overheard. Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable, and pronpt. Great menu options and delicious. Interesting and fun drink menu. Overall very good experience. We will definitely be visiting Crave again soon.
We met friends at Crave to celebrate both of our wedding anniversaries. The decor and
Ambience are very modern, but very nice. We had a great half round booth with plenty of
Room for all of us. It was a bit noisy, but what restaurant isn't these days? It wasn't overwhelming. Our cocktails were very good. Each person raved about their entree choice. My husband had the ahi tuna and said it was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles and it was
The best version I've ever had. We had a wonderful evening and can't wait to go to crave again.
Great restaurant and atmosphere. Staff is always fun and friendly. Large gluten free selection for those with Celiac Disease
Great experience! Delicious food with unique menu!
This was a first visit for four of the five people in our party and we will certainly return for another visit . The food was innovative and very good. Service was attentive and prompt. It was a Friday evening when we visited and the restaurant was full, but we were able to enjoy our conversation without too much noise. It is unfortunate that we live an hour away and won't be able to visit Crave on a regular basis.
Great service. Ask for EJ. Food was good, but a little over priced for what it was. $130 with tip for 2 drinks, appetizer, salad and 2 entrees. If i am paying $30 for an entree with crab, I really wouldnt expect to be crunching on crab shells pieces.
