We did the 7 course tasting menu. All the food and drink were excellent. Phil was the best waiter - fun, informative, knowledgeable about all the food and good wine to go with the meal.

My favorite place to eat and it's worth the cost. Restaurant has a great warm feel, noise is at a healthy level, music (seemed like a lot of Miles Davis the night we just went to) is at just the right volume and the food is just great. You always felt like you ate something special. Staff is friendly and really helpful.

A few quibbles:
-Most recent appetizer list is pretty limited and i wish they'd bring back the pig tails
-I think the wine list outsmarts itself and is more difficult than it needs to be. It took us a little effort to get where we wanted to go.

We went for my husband's birthday and ended up sitting at the bar so that he could get the burger. So I think the fact that I put in our reservation that it was his birthday got lost, but he was more than ok with that since he was so happy to have gotten the infamous burger. The food was outstanding!! We've always loved octopus so we got that as an appetizer and it was cooked perfectly. The service was great as well; Ben the bartender was phenomenal and really helped make our experience enjoyable. We will be going back, and highly recommend it here

We tried the tasting menu. The upside? They were very flexible with my companion’s food preferences. The downside? The plates ranged from ok (dessert) to great (lamb) but were not as artfully arranged as I have seen. Also, the side sauces seemed a bit weak and did not enhance the main ingredient on the plate. I noticed many people were ordering burgers so that’s what I will try next time I go.

We are desperately seeking quiet venues where we don't have to shout at each other. Designs with open and busy kitchens are not good.

Went for Sunday brunch, didn't seem like any of the staff really wanted to be there, service was lax and unattentive. Very pricey for dishes with only one egg, overall very disappointing especially considering the years of accolades.

Overall we loved Craigie. The food was amazing and the service was even better. The cocktails are as good as any I've had anywhere and the bartender was great. he ran his bar with friendly efficiency, personality and some great creativity and advice.

My one complaint was the wine list. It was limited, which I appreciate actually. A chef knows what works well with their food and there is no reason to have 100 wines. That said, the average price for a bottle was over $100 and that's just silly. There are amazing wines at more affordable rates and so I ended up feeling taken advantage of. The couple at the next table commented on it as well and I think this is a real weak point in their menu, service and overall appeal. It is just way out of balance.

Craigie is not an inexpensive experience, and to double down on the wine would keep me from going there more often.

They charge $5 for a small glass of iced tea and then another $5 when they brought me one refill. That's insane. Just get wine instead. The food was really good and they were able to accommodate my allergies reasonably well.

So glad Sunday brunch is back at Craigie. Grits are wonderful. But the bloody Mary is special, with a caraway flavor. Next time, I'll try the avocado toast.

Craigie on Main has it all, creative, delicious food and top notch service. The employees at Craigie work like a well oiled machine and everyone who tends to you during your visit is the best at what they do.

My husband and I visited to celebrate my birthday and we both had the Chef's 5 course tasting menu. There was a little bit of everything, fish, veggies, meat, pasta, and everything from first nibble to the dessert at the end was perfection. Such a wonderful experience!

Fantastic meal at Craigie on Main! The service was fantastic from start to finish, attentive and charming staff. We had the 5-course tasting menu and the staff were extremely conscientious about giving me a pregnancy-friendly menu and my husband a vegetarian one. Every dish was carefully prepared, beautiful, and delicious. We felt it was a truly special meal for a reasonable price. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to celebrate an occasion or just enjoy a special night out.

It was for my boyfriends birthday and I had put that in the reservation. All staff we came in contact with wished Brian a happy birthday. They gave us a card from the owner and at the end brought us out a complimentary glass of processco each to go with the most delicious dessert we ordered. The burger was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it! Additionally our waiter was great. He had the bartender make me a drink with whiskey in it as he didn't think I'd like what was on the menu. Will definitely return again! I really want to try the regular menu next time :-) thank you again for a wonderful experience

I've been to Craigie on Main several times. The food has always been stellar (just like the service.) This time, we sat at the bar and I ordered a vegetarian option (a silly choice, according to my husband, as I am NOT a vegetarian - it just sounded good. ) It wasn't. Other than that, the service was amiable but not exceptional. I was a little disappointed by the whole thing. I think I will wait a while before coming back.

I was really excited to try this place out but it was the most expensive meal I've had in a long time and was just decent. The cocktails were fantastic but $14 each, so they probably should be. The entrees were $35 and severely overpriced based on portion size and quality. The meal wasn't bad by any means, but I've had way better for way less expensive. The service was very good and I'd go back for cocktails and apps, but I was underwhelmed by all 3 entrees we had at the table.

By far the worst burger ever ever had my life. Just because your limit the burgers and put an expensive price tag on it doesn’t make it a good burger - Burger King is significantly better than that sad.

We had a group of seven assembled to hold some serious conversations. The creative cuisine at Craigie was a draw for the invitees. The wine list allowed us to enjoy ourselves without breaking our wallet. The staff was very attentive without being intrusive. We all enjoyed our meal and the evening.

I had the octopus appetizer which was superb and the three kinds of pork. Each dish others had was a success. While the menu implies a strict Prix fixe they were fair in adding up what we actually ate. We got the attention we wanted and the evening was a success.

We had our anniversary here and had mentioned that in the reservation. They had a special corner table set up with pillows where we could sit next to each other and a nice note. All the waiters were attentive and knew it was our anniversary too which was really sweet.
The food was delicious too! We got the tasting menu and I had some dishes which tasted unlike anything I had ever had.

It came highly recommended by multiple sources so I was looking forward to it. The immediate surroundings are less than ideal as the view across the street is of an alleyway or a UHaul dealership. We were seated immediately and the service staff jumped into action. The wine list is very brief and the selections are relatively obscure varietals. The menu is creative and I appreciate that. However, they seem to go for shock value with the ingredients. My wife is squeamish about her ingredients and it was a challenge selecting something from the relatively small menu that didn't include ingredients such as 'pork blood' or 'pig head'. It's definitely more of a foodie selection and the chef and staff seem to put a lot of thought into the menu. That being said, it fell slightly flat for me. My wife had the oysters. Unremarkable. I had the Foie Gras pâté. Good, not great. I had the chicken and mole dish and I felt that it lacked snap or interest. My wife had the Pork 3 Ways. It was a clever dish and she enjoyed it. We skipped dessert and had ice cream next door. Our waiter, Phil, was exceptional.

My husband and I have gone to Craigie for our last two anniversaries (our first two as well). Neither experience was the same, but both were fantastic! This past one we sat at the bar and had Juan, a very attentive, kind and caring bartender take care of us. He helped us choose the best dishes, drinks/wine, and kept us fully entertained.

The food was stunning! We got the bone marrow and pate for app's. Pretty sure that they were the best we've ever had. My husband got the famous burger - totally worth the hype. I got a delicious chicken dish and was rather in love.

All around, an amazing time and I cannot wait to go back!
