The dishes were generally on the salty side for me.

Amazing from start to finish. Staff was incredible, especially Colin. The spring dug parsnip soup was the highlight for me, and c'mon - fried pork belly croutons? As good as they sound. We'll be back.

For a high end French cuisine the quality of food did meet expectations and/or price point. Bone marrow side dish was mediocre and was not cooked/prepared thoroughly. Oyster appetizer was terrible, oysters tasted old, very fishy tasting and the mignonette was non-existent. Main courses were just eh, nothing to write home about. Have had much better meals at other French inspired fine dining establishments at much lower costs. Wine, beer and cocktail menu was fantastic and was the best thing about our meal.

Unbelievable food with a laid back, unpretentious vibe. We had the 7-course taster menu and every single dish was absurdly delicious. Our server was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The restaurant is not cheap, but given the quality of the food, not unreasonable - I would definitely come back (but only for special occasions that merit such a meal).

Food was very good but very expensive. Overall we enjoyed it but probably won’t go back based on the expense.

Wonderful spot for a get together in Boston. Very good food. Charming atmosphere and service was all over it! We were a bit confused over the different menu choices between 7 course, 5 course and a la carte, plus not all prices were on the menu.

The service was awesome. Many kudos to Eli. The wine and cocktails were very good. Although our meals were quite good and creative they were a tad below our expectations based on our one prior visit and the restaurant's reputation since.

The food was good, but not great. Servers were a little pretentious but not particularly attentive. The atmosphere is fun.

Went for the special burgers - both meat and vegetarian. Burgers were just OK, but definitely did not live up to the hype. The waitstaff were great, as were the drinks. As we were leaving observed the chef/owner berating his staff in a really public, disrespectful way. I simply don't believe in a hostile work environment, even in the high stakes food world. We don't plan on going back.

We were disappointed with the food. It just wasn't flavorful. With the exception of the donuts, the food was rather bland. We went for Sunday brunch and the menu was limited. Service was exceptional, though.

The fact that I was asked to give a credit card to hold the reservation was annoying. I made the reservation for 4 people less than 24 hours in advance. If I had wanted to cancel right away, it would have cost me $25 per person. The restaurant had plenty of tables when we arrived. I won't be doing that again.

Extremely disappointing experience. Ordered the 7 course tasting menu and only enjoyed one dish (and we are not picky eaters). Service was slow and we were sitting with our dirty plates for 20 minutes between each course. We really wanted to like this place. Will not return!

Always a pleasure to dine at Tony Maws place. The attention to detail is meticulous and the food is always fabulous. We had the three course prix fixe and every course was amazing. Cocktail was a little sweet and the guys at the next table were LOUD.... but what can you do! Enjoy the food!

We love Craigie's! We went for Easter Brunch, and were not disappointed at all. The food was creative, many house-made items, the quality was outstanding as usual, and the drinks were also great. We sat at the counter watching the chefs, which as interesting, but not exactly private. But we were happy with it, it was fascinating watching them put everything together.

Had the Craigie Experience last week. None of the courses was outstanding, 3/5 were just bad, and none of us could finish them. Fortunately we ordered a side of fried smelt to share: tasty, but barely becoming of a restaurant of this pedigree.

Delicious and satisfying meal at the bar! We split one of the 18 Craigie Burgers being served that night and raves about the flavor of the meat and the crazy good crispy fries. We also shared the squid ink pasta! Finished off with some yummy carrot cake with ginger ice cream and granola and got treated to two amazing little cups of hot chocolate and cardamom - such an unexpected but perfect combination to end our meal! Can’t wait to return to try some other highlights I’ve heard about, especially the veggie burger (Tuesdays only!) and the Spanish octopus first course!

I ate here with my mom after hearing many positive things about the restaurant. I work in a fine dining restaurant and was surprised by the service- it seemed remarkably average, nothing extraordinary at all for such high caliber food. The food was delicious- I had the Arctic char and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. One thing both surprising and disappointing- we ordered white wine and it was served warm. I don’t usually send things back unless it’s truly offensive, but I’d like to enjoy my wine with my dinner and it should be served cold. When new, cold wine was brought to us, the mistake was not really acknowledged and we received no compensation for the mistake. I’m just surprised by the level of service, it does not at all match the delicious food.

The meal was awful and we were so disappointed. My mom ordered the trio of pork. It was slopped onto the plate and luke warm. The waiter was not super accommodative in terms of answering our questions regarding preparation.

My Bavette steak was cold when it arrived and chewy. The waiter was no where to be found to tell him.

When we ordered dessert (2 of them and I had called ahead to say it was my moms birthday and it was mine, too) they didn't take a coffee order and dropped off our desserts with one single candle for the table. Then we waited 25 minutes for the bill and the waiter came back to see if we wanted coffee or tea... this was after the meal was finished.

When we were leaving, the hostess asked how our meal was, I told her it was disappointing because everything out cold and she didn't seem to care (after she asked). Needless to say this will be our last visit.

Two of us were celebrating birthdays, and my daughter was leaving her 2 month old at home with a babysitter for the first time. So we wanted a good meal and evening. My younger daughter is not a food-centric person so she goy the chicken and held her peace.
The birthday daughter, her husband, and I dove in. I ordered a champagne, which we drank with first course (fried clams, octopus, and pate). All got very high marks.
We decided to share Arctic char and the pig’s head. We also ordered brussel sprouts and bone marrow as sides. It was a LOT of food, and all of it was delicious. Once we started eating the pig’s head, the char was an afterthought. If I were ordering again, I would order the char to come as a first course to share. And we loved the bone marrow, but I might want another vegetable to balance the richness.
I drink a lot of burgundy, and there were fun choices. We had Morey-Saint-Denis that was just right, both on its own and with the food.
They brought us candles with dessert.
It was an expensive meal, no doubt, but the food and service were exemplary. Definitely special event worthy!!!

Everything was wonderful, but I think it may be a victim of its own success in that the hype around the restaurant create very high expectations. It was honestly delicious, but I'm not sure it lived up to what I was expecting.

Excellent food. Only negative is different amuse bouche and deserts were served randomly. For the amuse bouche the birthday celebrant, a huge pork belly lover, was served trout and the pork belly served to a fish lover. The desert course was the same, huge chocolate lover served panna cotta while the two others served chocolate. No need for different servings or at least ask if someone has a favorite.

Excellent meal! We had the five-course tasting menu and everything was unique and delicious. The kitchen was very accommodating of my food allergy, and made substitutions as necessary. The only negative was that my date got served the regular menu which made me a little uncomfortable, but wasn't a big issue.
