The food lacked flavor. I ordered the beef short ribs and I got 2 big pieces of fat. I tried my boy friends 18oz ribeye and it also lacked flavor. The service was AMAZING and the ambiance was good too. I would definitely go back and try something else.
Great food. Service was fine, not great, but fairly consistant with the new COVID dynamic.
It is always the best experience at Mgm
Marvin is always exceptional. He is the main reason we always return
Service was amazing, always checking on you and very friendly! The food was amazing, I will be back for some more rib-eye !
Excellent food and service, highly recommended!
Ordered the Filet it tasted like oil. The side dishes were good. Ribs were good just disappointed cause it came highly recommended and it was over $300 for something that was not top notch.
We took our friends out for an anniversary dinner. It was the first time for all of us to visit Craftsteak and we had a great experience.
I have been blessed to dine at some amazing restaurants in my life, but hands down the service at CraftSteak is beyond anything I have experienced before. Yes the food was great, the staff are the true stars.
This was our fourth visit to Craftsteak, and every other time it's been AMAZING. This time, not so much. We left disappointed in a lot of ways. It was difficult to get our server's attention; in fact, all of them seemed to be far away and never looked at us when we tried to get their attention. The food didn't come out quite as ordered, but was still very good as always.
But one of the silly but true disappointments was the rolls! It's literally one of the biggest reasons we visit Craftsteak whenever we're in Vegas. They have the most unbelievable Parker House rolls that typically come out in a hot skillet, straight out of the oven. For whatever reason, they said that they can't do that right now due to COVID, and they came out cold on a plate. It took at least 10 minutes before we got anyone's attention to please bring us warm rolls, and by that time our dinner came out right after.
So I realize that's not a huge dealbreaker, but when you go there ready to spend a significant amount of money on dinner and with your mouth watering anxiously awaiting the hot skillet rolls, it's definitely a disappointment! Especially when the service was so poor and we couldn't get anyone's attention multiple times to get things right.
Finally, the music is bizarre! It looks like a place where you'd hear great jazz music or something like that. But every time we've been there they're playing some mix of 80's pop music! Sure, we love the 80's, but the mix wasn't great, and definitely distracted from the ambiance and feel you'd expect to have there.
Meh. My $400 meal was good, but not great. Costco’s prime steak grilled on the BBQ is every bit as good as the “Wagyu” filet mignon I was served. Disappointed.
The restaurant was very upscale!! Food was delicious and the service was awesome..
The service and the food were outstanding as always. This is our second time here in two weeks. Everything from the salad, to the steak, to the potatoes and of course to the chocolate cake was fantastic. Thank you for providing us with a great experience.
Quality of food far surpasses the price. Service is top notch, wine list is exceptional, excellent experience all around.
The service was AMAZING. Very conscious of social distancing, tables separated and staff wearing masks. We ordered the 4 course meal and we were all a bit disappointed with flavor level of some of the items. We had the Cesar Salad and it was bland, the dressing was flat and not very flavorful. We also had the 8oz. Filet, and it too lacked seasoning it was just ok. The cinnamon Monkey bread and the roasted asparagus was fantastic and our favorite! The chocolate cake was meh, it needed something.
I love Top Chef and Tom Colicchio and had higher expectations.
Last time I had a meal here the experience was so horrible I had not returned in over two years although I'm in Vegas and the MGM sometimes 2-3 times a month. Well with Covid, choices are limited, so I decided to give this place a try. As opposed to my scathing review of last... They earned all 5 stars this time. The food, staff, and service were all excellent.
Pricey but AMAZING CUTS!!!
Excellent atmosphere and excellent food combined with excellent service
Great to see Craftsteak reopen. They rearranged the dining room to make more space between tables, but it did also make the atmosphere even more dark and quiet.
The service was great, folks clearly appreciate being able to get back to work. I was first offered a seat at the bar area, but I declined that option, and wanted to sit in the main dining room (with better service) -- esp since the dining room was very empty. Took them a while to make that happen, and I'm glad that I insisted on avoiding the bar area -- which ended up being rather crowded as a walk-way and with multiple TVs on, not a very enjoyable dining atmosphere.
The wait staff was great, and make some good recommendations. I ended up doing the American Waygu fixed price menu, and added some items. The peaches & porscuitto appetitizer was a huge portion, but the proportions seemed off -- plate full of meat, with 3-4 slices of carmelized peaches and 2 thin breadsticks. The eye of rib was great, very generous portions as well as well seasoned. The mushrooms and potato puree sides were okay -- almost too salty. I asked to be surprised for desert, and they brought out their famous monkey bread with caramel sauce and nuts. Almost too sweet, but I can see why it's popular. I also had a Duckhorn wine flight, and it was a good pairing with my menu. Rather small pours but a reasonable value. Overall, a good value, and glad that they have reopened.
absolutely the best place to eat in vegas. no doubt about it. service is top notch as always and the food is absolutely amazing.
I had the best most outstanding Rib Bye I’ve ever encountered in my life. And I can’t wait to come back and visit. Officially one of my favorite fine dining establishments.
We enjoyed the prix fix and it was amazing! We love coming here because the food is fantastic and the service is very good. We enjoyed the premium filet mignon, the Caesar salad, the fingerling potatoes, and the chocolate mousse cake. Everything was perfect. We’re looking forward to our next visit.
If you like $36.00 asparagus, you will love this place. They have them. The steaks really were delicious but for $127 shouldn’t it be?
Great service and we loved the ambiance!! Beautiful place with really good food!
Solid steak for solid prices. The Mash purée was worth every penny. The service level was very good.
Our meal was fabulous as always. We watched as the staff sanitize each table thoroughly. They greeted each guest and as always the service and food was perfect. Our waitress Sandra was amazing and welcoming. We have the Wagyu skirt steak, corn, Maui onion, Yukon potatoes, and Caesar salad. We ended the meal with an Oreo cookie chocolate cake. The flavors worked so well together. A true delight.
Most amazing meal I’ve had.
Tradition is to have our Anniversary dinner at CraftSteak - love this place and it holds very special meaning to us! We enjoy it every year! Thank you
Don’t get me wrong, the food was good. I’m not sure it’s as good as the price indicates. I did like that it was blasting great music, so you are paying $800 for a meal (for 4) but at least you can sing some wonderful tunes. The wine selection was out of this world!
I have dined here many times in the past and it was excellent. I dined here recently during covid and it was not up to the standard as before. The food was mediocre and the service was the same. I’m sure it is hard to provide white table cloth service during covid.
Very quaint and excellent food. Expensive but worth it for a special occasion.
50th birthday and 24 yr anniversary
Always great service and wonderful food.
Wonderful service, and wonderful dinner. Liked having fewer patrons because of Covid, so a quieter, more personalized atmosphere.
Our sever was a bit pretentious. You could barely hold a conversation due to the music being so loud. Salad and appetizer plates were still on the table when dinner was served. We felt rushed and the steaks were not seasoned enough.
Delicious meal, very attentive service. Frisee salad was amazing as was the roasted seasonal corn. Will definitely return.
Fabulous dinner!( with the exception of shrimp cocktail). Shared seabass & Waygu filet migon-- both tender & pure natural flavor without overwhelming spices.Enjoyed mushroom & carrot sides, too.Creme brulee was perfect for the Grand finale!
Solid meal, bit on the expensive side
We had high hopes for here, but it just didn't compare to other higher end steakhouses we have been too. They didnt have any bernaise or peppercorn sauce, just A1. It was pricier than other options. Filets were ordered medium, but arrived already cut down the middle and medium rare to almost rare on both. I've never seen a steakhouse of this caliber not cook a steak properly, let alone cut it open. The buffalo mozz appetizer was good, grits side dish was average. Just not worth $200 for 2 people with no drinks.
Outstanding food and service. Don't forget the Monkey Bread.
