Craftsteak - MGM Grand
The food is great, one of the best steaks I have had in awhile. Typical inflated wine prices you see in Vegas.
Our server did not meet our expectations by a long shot. The GM of the restaurant did a great job of making it up to us, but still had a less than ideal experience given the level of service expected at a restaurant of this caliber.
Fantastic food, excellent wine list, attentive service. The best steakhouse in America.
The food and service were excellent!
Food was overpriced for quality, we raise and produce better beef in the Midwest then was was offered. Midwestern beef as a reserved and aged beef product tastes far better then whats offered. Consider Manny’s in Mpls as a $65 steak is superior to the $90 steak in Vegas. The carrots were poorly prepared and overcooked, the mashed potatoes were like loose grits. You can do so much better if you take food more seriously. I am foodie, had better meal at Prime at Belliago.
Our server Kevin was amazing. We were a large party and he suggested the RR meal with 3 courses of shrimp cocktails, salads, steaks, sides and desserts. The food was AMAZING! Great service and a great time. Since we were a party of 7 we were able to sample 7 different steak cuts and preparations. Each steak cut was prepared differently and had a unique wonderful flavor. The 24 hour short rib was divine. Higher level tip, take the slider meat and put it in the dinner roll for the ultimate slider; hat tip Kevin. Wonderful time for our family. Most highly recommend.
Service, food, recommendations, wine - PERFECT.
Skip the Brussels
Love the steak and mushrooms
Went to Craftsteak for the very first time and was disappointed.
The food and service was by far more than I expected. Our steak was done to perfection. Marvin our server was attentive and knowledgeable and steered us in the right direction. This is now going to be on my list of places I must eat when I am in Vegas.
Overpriced which made the poor food quality that much more disappointing. Steak was overcooked. Great service while sitting at the bar, however
Always the best! Never disappoints!
I go to the restaurant twice a year when I visit Las Vegas. There is a staff person there named ALEXIS who is one of the reasons that I return so often. Incredibly, not only does she remember assisting me a few times, she even remembers and greets me by my name, and she remembers that I enjoy the short ribs. I hope the management knows what a treasure they have on staff. On this visit, she introduced me to the person who assisted me, and the trio of gentlemen attended to my needs in the most efficient and respectful manner. I had another amazing experience dining at the restaurant.
We had a wonderful dinner at Craftsteak prior to seeing the show KA. We allowed 2 hours for dining, but needed just a bit longer to enjoy the fabulous deserts. We ordered chefs choice and were pleased with everything. The steak was a little rarer than we would have liked. Maybe opening at 4pm instead of 5pm would allow customers seeing a 7pm show that little extra time needed to further enjoy this dining experience.
We frequent there every New Years for my wife’s birthday. It’s one of her favorite places. Blue is usually our waiter and he’s is simply the best. Tony was our waiter this time and he was awesome as well.
Would have liked to had a better time selection via open table. The times available were not great so we sat in a mostly empty restaurant earlier than we wanted to have dinner.
Food was good, the preparation of the short ribs had changed since our last visit. I like the previous preparation.
Not sure we’d return but try another restaurant like Heritage Steak at the Mirage.
Service was remarkable.
Overall, meh... overrated and overpriced. No chimichurri for a skirt steak, and half the steaks were overcooked. Selling overpriced mest and barely have the decency to cook it right.
This is, and has been, my favorite restaurant in Vegas. It’s fantastic that they have been able to maintain such high quality over a relatively long period of time.
Service was as great as the meal. Multi servers per client made for a perfect evening.
Get the wagyu skirt steak! Best steak I have ever had in my life! And I consider myself a conniseur.
The food was fantastic. We did the chef-crafted dinner option and every choice was perfect. The service was pretty excellent, too, the only reason I'm giving less than 5 stars for service is because we had almost an entire cheesecake left from the dessert course that never made it into our leftovers bag. 😭
Love this place. Might be my favorite steakhouse on the strip.
Met a buddy for a reservation, saw how decent the bar was and just ate up there. Masculine engineered bar and bar top. The bar back was just enough social for us to have a good time and made the perfect Old Fashioned. The strip steak and purée potato was nice. Overall always a good option
Peter was an absolutely phenomenal waiter. I can honestly say everything about this restaurant lived up to the expectation and it was every bit worth it. You truly can not get a bad item anyway you go!
Great service & food taste great.
We are at the bar and entire staff at the bar was terrific.
They knew the menu very well and also made us great drinks. The food they recommended was outstanding.
Steak came out lukewarm. Sent it back. Came by and not hot again.
The food, service, atmosphere and selection of food was excellent as usual!
excellent will return, food, the staff, the noise level.
Great as always
Our waitress Patricia did an excellent job with our group, her 17 years working at Craftsteak really showed her knowledge & dedication to her job. GOOD JOB!!
This restaurant had the best service I have ever encountered! However, that was the only thing Craftsteak had going for them. My spouse and I love trying tasting menus and went all out with their Japanese wygu surf and turf tasting menu. The food was so under seasoned and bland. Some of the steak was tough to eat and the mushrooms had the worst texture. I couldn't even get the lobster tail to pull apart because it was so over cooked. I was so disappointed in the food. I am very disheartened that I wasted some much money on a poorly executed meal. In addition, the portion sizes were ridiculously huge and could have easily fed 4 people a large sized meal. I would never recommend this restaurant.
We had the grass fed ribeye. That was the best steak ever stuck in my mouth!!
EVERYTHING WAS INCREDIBLE. EDDIE OUR SERVER WAS THE BEST, as usual. Troy the wine steward was amazing. The food was amazing. No complaints at all
The steak was very good. The ribeye had just enough seasoning and charring. The bread rolls was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Wish we had more of them. The spinach was good, but nothing special, so that was the only “flaw” food wise.
The service was definitely on the slow side. It was several minutes after seating that we even got menus. And another 10-15 min or so before someone came by to describe the menu options and specials. In fact we weren’t ever sure who our main waiter/waitress was because it kept flipping between one of two people. We weren’t in a rush or anything, so it didn’t harm our dining experience, but I can imagine if you’re trying to catch a show that you’d want to allocate extra time.
Excellent service. Sea bass was exceptional.
We met friends there it was outstanding
Place was pretty much perfect. Friendly and very attentive service. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Definitely a place we will go to again.
We eat here every chance we can. It’s always outstanding !!!
Birthday. Enjoyed everything!
