Holy smokes, everything was fantastic! Top notch drinks, oysters and scallops and short rib were to die for. Sautéed greens were a bit salty but the potatoes gratin were so rich, and the vanilla ice cream with the spiced donuts was the best we’ve ever had. Thank you to Cesar our host for a great birthday experience!!

We’re sad to say we didn’t enjoy the food as much as we thought and hoped we would. The vegetable was so salty we could barely eat it (and both love vegetables), my scallops were also very over-salted and my friends Halibut was lukewarm. We were expecting more out of Craft for the cost and it being a Tom C. restaurant. We probably won’t go back.

Truly wonderful experience. Service was the best we have had anywhere in a long time. Will definitely be back if we get back into the city. Highly recommend the duck and venison, and gnocchi side. Wow!

Where do I start.. Decor was warm and elegant. We had so many servers attending g to our every need , and so efficiently. The staff were friendly and welcoming , no stuffiness here at all. Food, oh my, be prepared to share as intended . Best gnocchi and pork chop I’ve ever had . Some special treatment at the end, probably because I was fan geeking .. HIGHLY recommend!

Generous and gracious service. Proteins don't normally impress me at any restaurant, but the oysters and venison melted in my mouth, and the sea bass was exceptional (tasting menu). I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We were visiting NY for my wife’s and sons birthday as they are only 3 days apart. We went on my wife’s birthday and gave us a special menu with a happy birthday to her printed on it. Our waiter Cesar was amazing with my 8 year old son, grabbing him a Shirley Tempe and some crayons/paper right off the bat so he wasn’t bored. When my son told him his birthday was in 3 days he immediately joked like he was radioing his manager on his watch like a special agent. The manager came over to talk to my son and told him since it’s his bday he gets to go down to the kitchen later and try some nice cream. We thought he was kind of joking but sure enough when we ordered some desert he let the three of us go down and see the kitchen and try some ice cream with the head pastry chef. We were blown away by their kindness to let us see behind the scenes and this will be something all of us remember forever. Simply a class act.

Our server Daniella is a star. She spent time with us to discuss the menu and help us with our selections. She was a big part of our wonderful experience. Our meal did not disappoint. The grilled octopus, burrata, short ribs and hen of the woods mushrooms and potatoes aligot were delicious. Meeting John the manager was a highlight. The staff is amazing and the vibe is perfect. You are getting everything you could hope for in a nice dinner in New York City. We will be back!

Went there for Valentine’s Day. Service was very average - didn’t feel like much attention was paid to our table. Menu was more interesting than the food on the plate - very simple presentation, few sides, etc. it tasted fine but I expect more from Craft having been there several times (and paying a premium for dinner that night).

In my opinion, he restaurant is trying to be too pretentious for its own good. The food was good , but not exceptional (advice to future patrons: don't fall for tuna tartar). The price tag was outrageous (I obviously knew what I was getting into as the menu was prix fixe) and is somewhat hard for me to reconcile with the overall experience. In sum, experience was 3.5 / 5 and price 2 / 5.

Went for the Valentine’s Day dinner - the food was delicious but the cost was far too high for portions, etc. It was fairly hectic (I know restaurants are looking to turn quickly) but we felt everything was a bit more rushed than normal. (But not to the point of feeling like we were being pushed). Overall, $195 per head was too high for what we got, but we’ll definitely go back for their standard menus (which is fantastic).

Great atmosphere, courteous professional and friendly service. Delicious cocktails and wines by the glass. Duck dish was outstanding and worth the trip alone. Cauliflower was very good. Scallops were of great quality but missing something (crunchy or acidic to contrast with the softness of the scallop). Would have liked cheese on Gratin potatoes. Enjoyed the flan dessert. Coffee was very good.

Service was excellent. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We did the restaurant week lunch which was amazing. The portions were good size and the food was delicious. It was an experience beyond my expectations. Definitely going back next time I’m in New York. It was our anniversary as well and they gave us a thoughtful note and some chocolates. We loved it.

My goodness, where to start with the praise. We dined at Craft last night to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. From the moment we walked in the door until we left we were treated like family. Every aspect of the dinner was executed to perfection, the food was nothing short of divine, service (as it always is) was as good as it gets in NYC, which is really saying something. John (the GM) and Cesar (truly the life blood of Craft for many years now) went above and beyond to make our evening special. Thank you so very much, everyone at Craft!
