Was looking forward to celebrating my wife’s birthday here after an evening at the theater. We had a 930 reservation and when we arrived we were told at the kitchen closes at 9:30?! Ordered ala carte and was disappointed with the food. The crudo had fish scales, the salad was very overdressed, the monkfish was lackluster and the spinach was pretty simple. For the price I expected a lot more. Additionally, there was a fire in the kitchen and a long wait between courses. The mood was dampened by firemen walking thru the restaurant. Unfortunately the table next to us was using their dinner as a work meeting. Laptops and files were out on the table and their conversation was very loud. We were trying to celebrate a birthday and felt like we were instead at coffee house. Our server was friendly but didn’t really check on us. Overall a disappointing experience, save your money.

In from California and I wanted to always try Craft. It definitely lived up the hype. If you are looking for a good tasting meal and a nice evening with some special, I would highly recommend choosing Craft!

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here - a great room with a casually elegant feel. Attentive and friendly staff and some great dining choices. The pudding menu did indeed tempt us and the chocolate soufflé is fantastic!

This elegant yet relaxed restaurant has delicious food...beautifully presented and so tasty. It is a place to go for that special it a first date, a birthday or a group of friends who want to have a night to remember. Highly recommended.

Best veggie side dishes in NYC. Fish came out a little cold but they fixed it right away. Very nice severs. Doughnuts and soufflé were amazing.

Amazing dinner. Fabulous menu, great wine list. The service is over the top. Its not necessarily inexpensive, but very much worth it for a special occasion.

Service was great and food was a flavor explosion in my mouth. Would highly recommend. I’ve been to a couple of 1 star Michelin restaurants. I would def rank Craft up there.

I love Craft. It's always such a treat to go there with a friend or two. I've taken many
people there to celebrate their birthdays. I will only go to "conscious" restaurants, and
although there are more these days, much still needs to be done. I love Tom Collichio's
philosophy and I appreciated his letter to restaurant workers about the harassement issue.
I'm boycotting Mario Batali's restaurants as an aside...
