We got the tasting menu with wine parings. The food and wine were excellent.
Highly recommend the short rib!
Best dinner we have ever had! The gnocchi was AMAZING with the Red Snapper and wild boar!! Highly recommend!! Only thing missing was a Tim sighting 😊
Excellent service—friendly without being overwhelming. The food was amazing; high quality and good portions sizes.
Excellent food and impeccable service. Very attractive and warm space.
The service was absolutely incredible! My husband and I went here for our first anniversary and we will be going again next year! Thank you craft for a wonderful, memorable night!
INCREDIBLE! You will not be disappointed!
Many years ago, we had dinner at Craft with our daughter and son-in-law. We enjoyed it but hadn’t been back until now. Just the two of us this time. Superb cuisine, attentive service, comfortable seating, and a blessedly moderate noise level (though the music played would not be my choice). This overall excellent experience didn’t surprise us since when Craft began serving lunch a couple years ago, we went several times. Always wonderful, so we were sad when lunch was discontinued. They did bring it back briefly during the 2019 holiday season, and of course, we made it our business to go. We’re now putting dinner at Craft on our regular dining out rotation.
I have eaten here before & returned for the beloved short ribs & a night with cherished friends. We felt that the service was "off" on the night that we were there, so not sure I would rush to come back.
Craft was an excellent meal and fantastic service! Our server, Ed, and his team were knowledgeable, helpful and so great! We are already looking forward to going back for special occasions!
Lovely dining experience with wonderful staff! Would return :)
We had a truly exceptional dinner at Craft. Food was impeccable. Service was better--hospitable, efficient, generous (it was my wife's birthday, which was acknowledged graciously and without undue fanfare as if it were a spectacle...), charming even (thanks, Skye). The ambiance is good (people even seemed inspired to dress above the usual NYC-restaurant level...), especially the vibes. Expensive: quite; in this case you get indeed what you pay for.
I had a great time. The potato gratin is amazing.
Not sure what was better, the food or the service...but both were great!
Food, service and ambiance are first rate. This is my favourite restaurant for fine dining in NYC.
Oh my, this place just isn't for NYers anymore, which I guess should not too much of a surprise. It's really geared towards visitors - the first thing the waiter said was, "where are you from?" The food was totally fine, and just fine. At half the price anywhere else it would have been great. Being a Food Network star is great . . forgetting how you got there, not so much.
Christian is the rockstar!!!
Absolutely love Craft Steak in Las Vegas.
Did the tasting menu, expecting greatness.
It was disappointing.
As always exceptional is the only way I can describe Craft.
We had the Chefs tasting menu and it was perfection!!!
Dining at Craft on Saturday was the most pleasurable experience. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was wonderful. Staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We were very comfortable, never felt rushed and had a wonderful time.
The short ribs were awesome.
A restaurant with elegance of comfort and dining a visceral pleasure all within the warness and welcoming of the staff.
Anniversary dinner was great, and we enjoyed the food and the service.
I was hoping the recent reviews I’ve read for Craft wouldn’t “apply” to my experience, but unfortunately they were right. I have always liked Tom Colicchio and was excited to give Craft a try when visiting NY. While the service was excellent (albeit slightly confusing as we seemed to have 2 waitresses), dinner itself was simply “fine” - not fine dining. My angolotti was undercooked and sides were fairly standard (my husband did like is halibut however). We tried two desserts - one far better than the other. Overall, it was a disappointment...especially based on cost and knowing the restaurant’s (past) fanfare. I was definitely hoping for more.
Absolutely memorable! It was a friend’s birthday and she totally had a lovely time. The food was amazing! Just about every dish was excellent.
You are treated like royalty from the second you walk in. Every dish is perfectly cooked and there are many options you wouldn’t find in an everyday restaurant. Same goes for the drinks. Obviously you should have high expectations from Tom Colicchio and they will be met.
Many years later the food at Craft is still fantastic! We had a great time and love the beautiful space as well
Very attentive service, good food
Craft says it’s simple but the price is not so simple for valentine dinner it was $500 only two drinks extra from the menu .. we waited to go to craft since long. After our dinner I was so disappointed at the food ... salad was so rancid ... steak !!! Over priced steak was over done sadly ... mushrooms and the bread probably was the only thing that had flavor ... no serving spoons are given out .. so you have to try to scoop it all out with fork and knife ... dessert was ok ... just can’t believe for the price the taste and work of craft was not worth it sadly...
I can't speak to their a la carte, but the valentines day pre-fixe was very average for the price. Our final bill was close to $450 with drinks for two of us, and we were left unimpressed with the food portions and quality. Service was excellent, people were very accommodating and helpful. Ambiance was great. We may come back to try the a la carte menu.
this place was terrible, food came very late and COLD, cold steak and cold duck, never had that in a top rated restaurant before, the top chef would have been very angry; at first we were seated next to window and it was FREEZING, very uncomfortable so we had to ask to be moved or we were afraid we'd get sick; there was no bread so we asked because the wait was so long for the appetizers and the bread was terrible, hard as a rock and no taste. the appetizers (crab) and gnocchi were TINY, i have never seen such small portions, i could barely taste them because there was so little; then the entree which took forever to come out came out COLD, both the steak and the duck. terrible experience, will never go back and will tell everyone i know what this top chef restaurant is like.
Everything was great. Food and service top notch. Everything tasted fresh and had lots of flavor. Definitely recommend for a romantic night out
We were very excited to try Craft by TC.
Food was amazing.
We were a on a special date.
Host staff was great and friendly.
Server did well at first, but by the end we did not feel welcome.
Kind of blew us off and left us feeling like we did something wrong.
Especially at the end of the meal when he brought the check.
Pre-Valentine’s Day Date! Lovely!!
This was our 2nd time there and the food was amazing. Service was flawless.
Bad service - waiter paid little attention at all - steak was raw couldn’t cut thru it - no offer of replacement - eventually credit for the steak was given - upon arrival for 730 res we waited 15 min extra but others were seated in a timely fashion - I won’t return - way overpriced even for nyc
Service was excellent. Drinks were great- get the Negroni. Entrees were wonderful. Perfect night out.
I have loved this restaurant for years for special occasion dinners. The food is exceptional, the staff are warm, and the vibe is elegant but not fussy.
We were generally disappointed with the experience. For the price the food wasn’t as ‘wow’ as it should be given the competition at that price point in NYC. The best thing about the restaurant was the decor which was sadly let down by the music choice which didn’t lend itself to what should have been an atmospheric experience but we were regaled with a rocky and occasionally soul music filled playlist which lacked coherence. It just felt like it diminished the overall feel of the decor and experience. My daughter ordered the truffle pasta and she couldn’t taste the truffle. We weren’t blown away by the octopus. It didn’t taste as crisp on the outside and less firm on the inside than it should have been. The potato gratin was a touch over salted and too creamy for such a classic French dish. The scallops were lovely as was the creamed spinach and the bread. The Nicholas Cabernet Sauvignon was divine and the staff were lovely. But given the choice we have in NYC, would we come back? Probably not.
Food and service were great! Highly recommend it.
