Craft delivers on quality. Variety. Service. Will be back
Jim, my waiter was very nice and courteous. Excellent staff in general including Matt, and Patrice.
One of my favorite places. Service was a little off this visit but that is not the norm for them. I'll be back ;)
From the fantastic food to the service, Craft never disappoints
Fabulous evening with the family! Excellent service and quality food!! WILL RETURN!
WE WENT TO CRAFT TWO EVENINGS IN A ROW. THE FOOD AND SERVICE THERE WAS OUTSTANDING. THE WINE MENU WAS GREAT AND HAD A LOT OF GREAT OPTIONS, AND ULTIMATELY THIS RESTAURANT HIT A HOME RUN TWO CONSECUTIVE EVENINGS. I'M GOING BACK THERE EVERY NIGHT I'M IN LA. WELL DONE.
In our opinion, one of the most superior venues in Los Angeles. No kitschy, weird combos, but not the ordinary cuisine either. Great service, from front desk to end of meal. Beautiful place. I would recommend to any LA visitor, and to locals: don’t miss this one. Great to entertain and for a quiet dinner for 2. Get some side dishes to share at the table so everyone can experience some items together.
We were late, we booked for 8 people but there were 12 of us- the kitchens were closing but the staff were amazing and made the evening wonderful and the food was really amazing!
The great experience starts the day before when Wendy calls to confirm the reservation. And then she is there at the door to greet me when I arrive - Wendy is fantastic. Seating is comfortable, decor is beautiful, open and airy. Servers are prompt polite and knowledgable. Food is always presented visually appetizing and every dish has been delicious. Rich savory flavors and something for everyone.
The staff at Craft went the extra mile to make me feel special on my birthday. The service was excellent and waiters and bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was fantastic and at a reasonable price for the quality and execution. Great experience overall.
Once again, a wonderful meal and experience. Will be back soon. Adult, sophisticated (but hip) and civilized.
Great place but kitchen is just going thru the motions. Food felt like it had been sitting for a while before it was served. Pasta was over cooked and vegetables underdone. Wait staff was great and removed all items that were not to our liking from the bill. Hard to keep the food fresh at clearly what has been an institution for years.
Please replace the chairs
Amazing food and impeccable service!
Craft has improved on an already great base. My last few times for lunch have been just excellent. And no one is better than Wendy the host
We had Easter Brunch at Craft. This was our first time dining with them but it definitely won't be the last. Everyone on the staff was very polite. The food was delicious and the cocktails were fabulous. We will see you again soon. Thank you so much!
Always terrific! Our favorite L.A. restaurant.
Have had dinner dates on several occasions at Craft and each time is great! Great service, great food, great wine!
The chefs give the most amazing creative touches to comfort foods, from locally sourced ingredients. The charred octopus appetizer is to die for. The service and attention to detail is outstanding. This is my favorite restaurant in L.A.
Disappointing wine service. The restaurant has a beautifully crafted wine list, but the "sommelier" on staff that night knew nothing about the wine. I am sure the person who assembled the list would have been disappointed.
The food here was a triumph of mediocrity. I had the salmon salad which was around $30 and consisted of some poached salmon (hardly superior to what comes from a can) tossed with greens and a yogurt based dressing. Do the chefs ever bother tasting what they design and prepare if the head honcho isn't there? This was a million miles away from anything special. My wife makes a better salmon salad with her eyes closed. My guest seemed uninspired by her salad also, and left about half of it on her plate despite announcing how hungry she was at the beginning of the meal. I think that Craft is resting on its laurels. It may be time to wake up.
The ingrients, the prepration, the tastes are simply first rate. The servives are friendly and courteous.
Best dinner ever at this restaurant.
My wife and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary at Craft. Service was great. Food excellent and the restaurant is beautiful.
On the more expensive side but well worth it in regards to quality of food and portion size.
Yay! The bread is phenomenal
The table was shaky while we were having food because my table was located above the parking entrance. The ladies at the door were not professional and pretty much told me to “get out of the way”. Over all good service and decent food, not recommended if you are age below 45.
An exquisitely executed dining experience. One of my top 10 in the country. Do not pass up a visit to Craft if in the LA area. Food, service and atmosphere are flawless. Exceptional value for what you receive.
The steak sandwich was delicious; for $28, definitely worth it
The petrale sole entree was not worth its $32 price. It was bland and dry, and served almost cold. The serving was more appetizer than entree. The scallops were tasty but lacked garnish. Brent our server was fantastic. Loved the complimentary desserts.
Maybe the best restaurant on the Westside!
Always hits the spot! Everything you could want. Great food. Welcoming service. Lovely decor. Able to hear the people with you but a pleasant buzz. Always come back.
Wonderful and expensive food. If they don’t know you, be ready for a very bad table in the middle of the walkway.
Love Craft! Every time I dine here, I rave about the food and talk about how I wish I lived closer so I could come more often. Creative and so delicious.
Craft was superb, as usual. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the restaurant is lovely and relaxed.
I just love Craft. Unparalleled service and perfect lighting and background noise. No need to pull out the flashlight on your iPhone or shout to be heard.
My New FAVORITE restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious. Ambiance is wonderful and the staff is incredibly polite and helpful. PLUS I love our take-home gifts....
While the food was quite delicious, the service was abominable. Although we probably had over 10 different servers/bussers/attendants at our table at various times, none knew what the other was doing. One of them, whose job was to explain things like the amuse and answer menu questions, had such a heavy accent we had to ask him several times to repeat his answers and I felt badly for him, he was obviously embarrassed. We were not ordering appetizers and were ordering steaks which we were told would take 50 minutes, so we asked for some bread to be brought to the table. That took 30 minutes and 2 additional requests. Beverages were refilled quickly, however, and seemed a big push, as I was asked if I wanted a refill on my cocktail when it was still half full. Things were brought to the table in a completely random manner, as sides were left for over 10 minutes before all of the mains were brought. 2 mains were brought, and the other 2 waited for 5 minutes. Who does this? At some point we started laughing when another person showed up to ask us the same questions, and when various others picked up plates that had not yet been finished. Sounds like some heavy training is needed. The food, again, was wonderful.
The restaurant is absolutely elegant and the service is impeccable-from the reservationists to the front stand to the very professional waitstaff. There were several lovely “host” touches that made the experience even more wonderful-valet or validated parking, a complimentary glass of Prosecco for International Women’s Day, an amuses bouche and a delicate little tasting of complimentary desserts. I was just a tad disappointed in the food - I expected it to be better given Chef Colicchio’s reputation and television judging. The avocado salad and side dish of Brussels sprouts were standouts-perfectly prepared and seasoned. Mouth-watering thinking about both. My scallops, though beautifully cooked and delicious, were gritty in every single bite. The potatoes were sub-par- boring roasted fingerlings that I make better at home, and the dessert was awful. I tried the lemon poppyseed donut plate with cinnamon apples and lemon sherbert. I thought it was a weird combo going in, but gave it a try and it was a complete failure. The donut was flavorless, the sherbert was bitter, and the apples simply didn’t belong there though they were heavenly. Those apples needed to be on a cinnamon biscuit/scone/crisp with spicy nuts and a pure vanilla bourbon ice cream. Might be a more traditional match, but would have worked better. It was a treat to go there the experience surpassed any expectation. I felt pampered, respected and very comfortable. Will go back to try a few different things - I am definitely looking forward to it.
