The food, service and all around ambiance was excellent. Could not have asked for a better experience, each time we come back is just as great.
I was starving after lunch. The portion was ridiculously small and the cost ridiculously high.
Lovely and attentive staff. Really enjoyed as a special occasion meal, but a bit pricey.
The food and service was outstanding!! I took my team from work and will for sure be going back with my husband!
A great experience,
Staff were very welcoming and professional. The lights weren't too bright, the food was amazing; and an overall great experience.
The food and service at Craft are exceptional. We will definitely be going back.
The food is very good. Service was disappointing. Felt rushed as main entrees came to the table while we were still eating salads. Salads were served at the same time as hot appetizers. Waiter apologized then seemed to disappear for the rest of the meal, except for the check.
Extremely well prepared and deceptively simple menu. Gracious service. Quiet dining room with impeccable ambiance. Great place for a memorable meal and an intimate conversation or to celebrate a special occasion.
Excellent food, excellent service and always a wonderful time when I'm there! Took my friends and everyone absolutely enjoyed the experience!
Great food, great service in a pleasantly modern luxurious atmosphere. I have dined here a couple of times but this is the first review. This restaurant is consistently at the top of the chain. Go there!
Dessert and drinks were great. Ambiance and staff were exceptional. The meats were good, but the vegetable sides were on the whole undercooked for us. Would still return.
Our waiter Jim was perfect; not over bearing or pretentious.
The food unfortunately was very over priced and trying to justify it's cost..I owned a restaurant in NYC and a wise person said to me: "the hardest thing in a restaurant is to be consistent night after night ..."
We have eaten at 10 restaurants in the last 12 weeks...Providence being the most expensive..$340 +tip for 2 people...I would never go back...
It's almost as if food has become an art form...PNB
We’ve been to Craft several times over the years. This was our first visit in about 4 years. The place is just the same - they’ve reworked the menu - it’s now farm to table, shareable plates. We had sole- it tasted good , but was just a tad overcooked. Also had scallops, they were delicious. Service was OK, not great - not the great service we enjoyed in the past. Dessert was great - excellent chocolate chip cookies.
10 years wedding anniversary.
The food portion was small for the price charged. I ordered scallops and got 4 scallops for $38.
Amazing food, impeccable service.
I want to give four stars , but this visit was not on par with our previous visits. We started at the bar with martinis and the service and drinks were amazing .
When seated we ordered drinks , they never came until I reminded our waiter after the appetizer.
As for the food the scallop aguachile was perfectly balanced . The side of carrots were tender and delicious. The Colorado lamb was cooked to perfection, luckily the butter knife was all I needed to cut the lamb because we never received a steak knife. The potato puree was smooth and delicious as always . The braised short rib is always our favorite, but it fell short this last visit. The short rib was burnt on top on some pieces so there was a bitter after taste and dry sections which was disappointing. The chocolate birthday cake and snicker doodle cookies were moist and had me wanting more.
Overall good experience, but service was definitely lacking .
Maybe our standards were higher because of the association, but dinner was disappointing. Among the several dishes we ordered, the short ribs ($50) were overcooked and tough to chew and the scallops (3 for $36) were overcooked and rubbery.
Service was underwhelming except for our welcome and the bartender who created a lovely gin cocktail.
Expect to drop north of $300 (inc wine and tip) and be a bit underwhelmed.
Really enjoyed the fresh interesting menu selections. Service was excellent and cocktails were interesting
It's been several years since I have been back to Craft in it's heyday... unfortunately disappointing. First of all, during the whole evening 1980's power rock was played, which destroyed the ambiance. Kiss and Billy Squire, REALLY???
More importantly, the food uniformly bland. The much touted avocado salad came out with brown avocados that were chilled as if the salad had been pre-made and sitting in the refrigerator from the previous day. After we sent it back, the beet salad was visually appealing but had the same refrigerator chilled food and plate with dead flavors.
The "mushroom" pasta was also bland, except for the excess butter. It only came with about six tiny slivers of black truffle, so we ate those and left the bowl of buttered pasta. Perhaps because of the salad disappointment, the waiter didn't bother to ask why we left it uneaten.
Although the evening was already tainted from the intolerable music and the first two courses, the cauliflower dish was quite good. The $$$ flat iron steak was completely flavorless, but at least the sauce was good and well presented.
Needless to say, I felt a little ripped off for such a pricey meal. We could have done better across the street at the mall.
Craft is my favorite restaurant and I love to bring business associates here.
I am a vegetarian and I always find something unusual and delicious. Have you tried the sides? To die for!!
The service here is white glove. The staff handles every request with grace and ease. An unparalleled experience every single time.
There was no accommodation of a non-dairy eater - it was stated by the server that the chef really couldn’t accommodate in terms of main courses.
The overall presentation of the courses was only average - the dishes were simply placed on the table with no explanation or commentary. And the Hen of the Woods mushrooms were over cooked (almost blackened).
Far inferior experience relative to NYC Craft which has always been a fabulous experience
I took my husband to Craft LA for his birthday. The service was extraordinary beginning with the fact that I was greeted by name and my husbands name was listed at the top left side of the menu with a Birthday message. That was a very nice touch which I had never experienced with any other restaurant and unique and appreciated. The oysters and the octopus appetizers were both exceptional. Unfortunately that’s where the meal was a little bland for both myself and my husband. I had the king salmon and he had the diver scallops and they were both just ok. The side dishes were bland like the cauliflower and shiitake mushrooms were both dry and forgettable. The shishito peppers were not good at all. We had chocolate chip cookies for dessert and they gave us a small cake with a candle and those were both nice. Overall, we loved the service but for the price we paid for the bill, we were hoping for a much better main course meal
The service and atmosphere are FABULUOUS! The Scallop dish is absolutely AMAZING!
The staff were extremely attentive and professional. Craft is a great restaurant—it’s food and ambience are ideal for spending the evening in conversations where everyone can actually hear each other!
The restaurant is terrific but you have the most uncomfortable restaurant chairs I have experienced. They should be replaced immediately. I have made this complaint known over may years.
Excellent service and food. Cavatelli (sp?) and braised short rib were outstanding. Everything else was very good. Service is how you wish other places that cost this much would treat their customers, but rarely do.
There are truly only a few restaurants in Los Angeles that match exceptional cuisine to their exceptional service. Over the last 5-6 years, I have eaten at Craft for both lunch and dinner, never once has the above statement been untrue.
Great service and ambiance. Food really is good but extremely pricey ($100 for iced tea and salads). Overall a good option for a business lunch in Century City.
Exceptional service! The food is delicious and the ambiance is perfect for a dinner date. We love celebrating our anniversary at Craft.
Amazing food and wonderful service as always. Definitely a place you want to try a little of everything from the menu! It was a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Great food. Loved the pork loin for the table
It was our 55th. Anniversary as well as our good friends on. August 30th!
Everything was wonderful from our individualized menus to our complimentary drinks,, great service, knowledgeable and great personality waiter!
Thanks for making our evening so enjoyable!
We made this reservation to celebrate my birthday, as we are big Tom Colicchio fans and I had not been to his restaurant in LA yet. Unfortunately my mom slipped on a greasy area on the floor and fell as we were being shown to our table. The staff was nice, checked on her and brought her some ice. She was too proud to let us leave or complain further but she bruised up quite a bit. The food was really good though and our waiter tried his best to make our evening pleasant. The food is the type that might seem simple but is just done so well - a difficult task to master. The fall put a damper on the evening so we didnt feel much like celebrating but at least had a good meal. I would recommend to a friend but I'd tell them to watch it walking around and maybe wear flats.
We are regulars. Love Craft. Fun fun fun experience. So many freebies. Appetizer. Dessert. Take home muffins. They make you feel at home if you lived in a very
Very nice house. The placemats could use and upgrade but that’s my only knock.
Love the ambiance. Food was excellent. Except that the pasta with crab was a bit bland.
This is our go to restaurant for fancy occasions. The service is impeccable, we felt like royalty! Our water glass was never empty, they served the ladies first, just very attentive to any tiny thing.
As to the food, the roasted mushrooms are always our favorite, followed by roasted cauliflower, the pasta dishes were delectable. The pasta is homemade of course! There is always a small free appetizer, free dessert, and something free that’s baked to take home. We feel very pampered every time we come. It’s a bit pricey but worth every penny!
Staff and food is fantastic, they even personalised the menu for my
Excellent. We have been to Craft in New York a number of times. LA just as good!
We are regular patrons !Outstanding cuisine. Our ‘go to’ venue for amy special occasion!
Unfortunately this time , service was not up to par compared to previous visits. Tables were not cleared in a timely manner...leaving dirty plates on table far too long . Wait staff changed midcourse during the meal
;.we had to summon the manager/host to clear our table; clearly not the service we are accustomed to at Craft!
We of course plan to return but hopefully will have better more consistent wait cstaff as we’ve had in the past!
