Fantastic view. Service was a little slow to start, but very friendly and helpful. Food was good but the crab omelet was rather heavy on the onions. The French toast was excellent and we also enjoyed the crab enchilada. Champagne comes with your brunch entrees, so that's a nice touch.
Excellent all the way around! I highly recommend Crab Catcher. Pablo was very helpful, and the complimentary champagne was a nice touch!
Food was very good, our server was slow and seemed
Amazing place! Beautiful views, excellent food!
Valentines Day Dinner reservations at 8:30pm, sat is over flow area that was cold and noisy, high traffic. We waited an hour before we had our entrees. Meanwhile, complimentary bread offered late when they noticed we had not received any. Not a romantic, candlelight experience. Service and attentiveness was below average for the expense.
I was so excited about this restaurant! Sadly the crab bisque was lukewarm, the crab cake was disappointing (was basically a giant golf ball of warm crab) and the crab enchiladas were just ok and a bit too spicy. My husband’s stuffed fish had a strange taste to it. We felt so bad for the server who seemed like a nervous wreck the whole night. She couldn’t give wine recommendations (nor offered to ask someone else) and forgot to put in our order. She was very sweet and apologetic but overall we won’t be returning.
Richard was a wonderful server. The food was great, we got a Crab Cake, Brussels sprouts, Maine Lobster Papperdelle and Crab Stuffed Fish. All the staff was friendly and their Tiramisu was great to end the meal :) Definitely would go back again.
The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. The food was very good and the ambiance is great .
Nice place for a view. Food and Wine are pretty basic. Had a nicely made manhattan.
First, my waitress was AMAZING! She recommended some of the best items on the menu. The berry mojito was the best I’ve had. The pasta was delicious. Will definitely be back again.
Good food, good service!
The oysters were delicious, and the spaghetti with clam sauce nothing out of the ordinary as was the creme brulee. My waiter forgot to bring cheese for the spaghetti. The ambience was marred by an adjoining table that had a very boisterous crowd sitting at it. The noise level was disturbing as one person in particular was drunk and had a shrill laugh. All I wanted to do was leave ASAP. The reason I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to a friend is because the meal, excluding oysters, was too highly priced for such average fare...not what one expects in a town like La Jolla.
Great atmosphere, food and service. Will go back again .
Awesome ambiance, delicious food,attentive
Slow Monday dinner so service and noise level were excellent. Inventive cocktail offerings. Starters are 5 stars for size and quality, entrees were pricey but very good. Great desserts.
Absolutely enjoyed the ambiance, the food (lobster and king crab legs) was fantastic, the view amazing, and above all, the customer service by Enrique was beyond expectation. Thanks to Enrique our 32nd anniversary dinner was perfect. Bu the way, this is the third straight year we had our anniversary dinner here. We’ll be back!!
Restaurant seemed dated but food was good and the location was perfect!
Patrick was an excellent server and the crab enchiladas were first rate!
Great view of the ocean
The service and food was good. The music was way to load.
Wonderful staff, great views, food is excellent and very plentiful. Great parking under restaurant
We had an Excellent view from our window table.
Great ambiance. We would definitely live to eat here during sunlight to get a better view of the cove. However, the moon lighting up the water was still magnificent. Very attentive service. Our meal was solid from the entree to dessert. I’m usually not a fan of meringue, but it tasted fantastic on top of the key lime pie!
Amazing! Such a great spot with a significant other. Highly recommend the oven baked Oysters!
The food was delicious. Great place for a special occasion.
We had amazing calamari, the best we e ever had! Ordered oysters both ways and they were excellent. The Baja Lobster... not so much. The claw had zero meat and the tail very little....our waiter was great.
Too loud. Food only average.
Great food and service with a view.
We were displeased that there was a surcharge added on to the bill. Other than that it was good food and nice ambiance. I don’t think I would recommend it after the sunset. I think that’s where the value is at.
Food was great- service excellent. Only place where we have been charged an SRCH fee, which I’m not sure is legal. A bit disappointed in that. The state of California implemented a minimum wage hike and this is how restaurants are passing these hikes in to their customers.
The food and service were OUTSTANDING! had the salmon and several other entrees that were cooked to perfection!! Would certainly come back. Great place in La Jolla.
Best seafood ever!!! Restaurant is beautiful and very friendly! Everything was great. But if I had to point one thing the seats and tables were very tightly close other customers so it was not spacious but overall great.
The refined decore and price, don't actually match the food quality.
Food good but the bus boy kept grabbing dishes from in front of us even though we were not finished. I literally had to pull my dinner plate out of his hand. We watched the waiter talking with others for extended time while we were trying to get his attention.
Cozy, elegant, delicious food, and great genuine customer service from beginning to end!
One of my favorite restaurants....great view, great service, great food. Highly recommend!
If was great. Food was really good service was great no complaints.
Had a delicious fresh fish dinner overlooking the La Jolla Cove. The crabbed stuffed Mahi Mahi was outstanding and my husband loved his Grilled Tuna with Polenta. Highly recommend.
Good food in a great setting!
Sunday brunch. Offered a variety of choices. Vegan. Meat. Fish.
