Best ambiance on the coast. Would highly recommend for a romantic night out.
While our experience with the CQ and the staff were excellent, we had a problem with out reservation through open table. When I made the reservation I asked for a window table so we could watch the sunset, as it was our anniversary. The request never made it to the CQ even though when Open Table verified the reservation via email it was there. That was the main purpose of booking a 5:30, sunset meal.
CQ is one of my favorite restaurant ,i love the food ,service, staff only thing i dont like about it is they change chefs often.Nice view and setup cozy and calming. I like to take my girlfriends there to spend girls night out and every time we have good time
Valentines Evening special...not expensive, food was excellent as was Jesse Hill, the entertainment...made for a memorable evening.
2nd time at CQ. Valentine's Day/birthday dinner. Crab cakes and Calamari apps were just fine. Server was most pleasant, seating was comfortable. Ordered rack of Lamb as entree. The 4 chops were tiny. The lamb on each chop was about the size of a half dollar not totalling up to a single regular lamb chop. Puree of cauliflower chops were placed on was inedible. My wife's dish, stuffed lobster, shrimp and soft shell crab was fine. They presented me with a choice of desserts for my birthday. It was fine. Only go to Biloxi once a year. May consider another fine restaurant next time.
Steak Filet was the best that I've ever had. View was incredible. Service was really good. Flounder was full of bones, almost uneatable, but tasty.
As Always the Staff at CQ was on top of their game, Andrea quickly informed everyone of the special of the day and collected the appetizer and drink orders, The drinks arrived within minutes and almost immediately after Andrea returned with the appetizers. The Tuna Steak was cooked to perfection and the presentation was flawless, If I had one recommendation it would be that the whole roasted Garlic cloves not be used as a plate garnish, It does nothing except take up space on the plate. We are beyond regulars now and the entire staff greets us by name each time we dine. If you have not tried CQ its one worth the time and elevator ride to the 9th floor...
Lightning and ambiance, live singing at its best. Full menu with balance of seafood and comfort favorites abound. Not really crowded, but a few lively tables with conversation. Service was impeccable. Bar connecting to CQ’s was lively and made my party wonder what we were missing. A bit of a distraction since both are served from same kitchen and food is walked in front of you. Overall, a great meal.
Service with Randy was exceptional. None of the food was very hot when served and the quantity and price was disappointing. 4 cold pieces of overcooked asparagus for $7 was a bit much. Usually a great experience but not this time
The wife and I came to CQ for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The hostess and waitress were very polite and professional. The salad and soup was very good. The main course was delicious and filling. The desserts are the BOMB!!!! Overall great place for a quiet meal with the significant other.
The steaks are excellent!!! One negative note is if you walk up, you are asked if you have a reservation and if you don’t they turn you away with an almost empty restaurant at times and you can step in hallway and go online and make a reservation and they seat you...makes no sense...look at your reservation list, see if u have enough tables, if so, seat walk ups...smh
I would recommend this restaurant for having one of the best filets on the Coast! They always cook them to perfection. They are very tender, flavorful and juicy. The only thing that would make the dinner any better is if they would bring back their spinach salad.
Food was great. Staff very friendly. A good find while on vacation.
Worst seafood platter on the entire coast! The crab claws and oysters were horrible. The crab cakes we orderred for an appetizer were strong and nasty. This was a comped meal and if I had to pay cash for this meal.. I would of been really upset. If you are a fan of fresh seafood then try Mary Mahoneys and forget about CQ ! At one time CQ was a really great restaurant but they have changed for the worse. The only plus was the waiters were great!
Nice place with quality food. Not the best I have had but a solid 8 out of 10.
Get away week end
We went for the jazz dinner. The ambiance of CQ cant be beat. We love the views and service. The food can be hit or miss but its been more consistent lately.
BEST DINNING EXPERIENCE EVER? FOOD, SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE WAS OUTSTANDING. WE HAD A GREAT TIME!
second time at CQ brought my best friend and her mother for her mother's birthday, Andrea our server made her feel special not only did she provide exceptional serve she went above and beyond by singing to her while serving dessert she asked her name and secretly told the singer Jesse hill it was her birthday and he sang a song to her, we looked at her she had tears in her eyes, she felt so special. It was the best dining experience of her life. The food was great also but the service was beyond great. I recommend anyone going to have Andrea serve them it a dinning experience you won't forget. Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends. PS the crab cakes were to die for.
My husband and I ate at CQ to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We loved everything about the place. The food was AMAZING! We will definitely be back!
