I picked Cozee Cafe for my sister's bridal shower because I wanted a place that a) took reservations for breakfast/brunch and b) served both breakfast and lunch foods at the same time (my mom hates eating breakfast out, the first meal of my day is breakfast no matter what time it happens). Cozee Cafe was wonderful. They accommodated our group of 8 and were all very excited for our special occasion. The waiter worked with us to make sure the bride-to-be and moms didn't ever see their bills and the restaurant even brought out a complimentary dessert!
We travel 45 mins just to eat here. It's amazing. Food is unbelievably phenomenal.
Beef patty was all burnt. Not worth the $15 I paid (no drinks).
Fantastic! This was our first visit to this establishment and we love it. There was a minor mix up with the cheese that my wife wanted on her omelette and they handled it perfectly. The staff here is friendly and you can tell they actually care about what they do. This will be a regular stop for us from now on! Thanks!
Not worth the time going to this place. Extremely short staff. Food bland. Service or the lack thereof terrible.
Nice little cafe. High priced food. Disappointing macaroons and burgers. Would not recommend b/c of that. Prices are too high, cafe is not a high end restaurant.
I love CozeeCafe. The inside seating is limited. Please adjust the speed of the ceiling fans to a slower speed. The food is wonderful; I would like to enjoy without having to eat fast before the fan cools it off.
Food was very good. However, the service was slow and the staff could use some more training. We had to ask for water refills and still waited. The soup my wife ordered never arrived and a few minutes after the chicken wings were served the waiter came over with a single wing on a plate stating that they "owed" us one more then proceeded to pick it up with his hands and added it to our wings. I thought for sure we were being Punked! Needless to say we won't be back.
Service was poor as server was unaware of what ingredients are in the actual food making for poor choices. Will never return. I thank the management for acknowledging their faults, however never returning. Not worth the waste of time and lack of lunch.
Good food. But service not so good. Very slow!
So if you are in any type of rush to get in and get out, THIS place is not it. We waited 45 minutes for lunch. Since we were not in a hurry nor starving we were ok. The food came out well prepared and nicely flavored, but I think they need to work on their deliever time. The hostess/waitress was very kind and I really enjkoyed the fresh table brewed tea, and all of the tea selections.
This is the second time I have used Open Table's online service to make a reservation and the second time we arrived to find we did not have one. We are going to unsubscribe and not use your service again. Fortunately both restaurants worked with us and we were able to be served.
The staff could care less about Open Table. The service is average, which is sad because the food is phenomenal!
This isn't my first time at Cozee Cafe, however, it was probably the last time. The food was great as usual, but the service was HORRIBLE. We had to wait 20 minutes just to get our drinks (glass of water and soda). It took 45 minutes to get our food and on top of that an extra 15 minutes to get extra napkins.
When we asked for the bill, we had stated that if we don't get our bill within 10 minutes we were going to leave.
So a nice brief lunch turned into a 2 hour ordeal. It was complete TORTURE.
The afogato was out of this world!
Went for bfast - The food was innovative, impeccably prepared,, and most of all delicious! So much so we went back the next day! The Belgian waffle, Steak and Eggs, and the omelettes were favorites along with the home fries with bacon. Service was great .. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was prepared well and tasted delish. The quality of the food
was superb. You can tell the owner really pays attention to detail. The waitress was very polite and professional. If I could give the place more than 5 stars I would....a little far from Orlando but well worth the drive.
I think Cozee Cafe was having a bad day this day. Or at least our server was. First, it took a good 10-15 minutes to be waited on. They weren't busy. At all! Finally we ordered. My husband didn't want green peppers in his omelet but did want cheddar cheese. I wanted no cheese on my croissant sandwich. My 5-year old wanted chocolate chip pancakes. Food brought out. Husband's omelet had green peppers and no cheese. I had cheese on my croissant, and my 5-year old had plain pancakes. 0 for 3! WTH?? The manager came to our table and was very nice and apologetic. He comped our meal. The food is so good here that we still wanted to pay. The manager wouldn't allow it. Chalk it up as a bad day. We will return. It's a great place and the food is YUM!
I had seen Cozee Cafe many times but thought it nothing more than a coffee shop. In an attempt to gain some Open Table points and have breakfast close to home with the family, I decided to place a reservation here. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked inside. What a cute place! We were seated quickly, ordered quickly, and the food came out quickly. The quality of the food was top-notch. Orange juice was freshly-squeezed (as in, I watched them cut the oranges and juice them). Everything was very good. I will definitely return. Especially because it's not very well-known from what I could tell and it doesn't have the wait times that other nearby breakfast places have.
I happened upon cozee cafe one day and have grown to love this restaurant. Amazing breakfast and wonderful lunch / dinner. Great food and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend anyone give this great bistro a try.
Our family had a great breakfast here again this past weekend and it was superb. My favorite is the classic eggs Benedict and ofcourse the french press coffee. The enviornment is very bistro and very non franchise feeling. Looking forward to having lunch here as soon as I can!
The food was good, but the asian girl could not remember anything. Took 3 trips to remember coffee and then had to wait for a pot of coffee to be brewed, but was friendly. Not the place if you want coffee right away.
This is a nice little cafe located in a trendy shopping area of Lake Mary. There isn't much in the way of seating, inside or out, but making a reservation through OpenTable will ensure that you get a table.
I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict and I was pleasantly surprised. The poached eggs sat atop some very thick beef bacon, which in turn sat atop two large, buttered and grilled English muffins. The hollandaise sauce was made to perfection and did not overpower the tastes of the other ingredients. My husband, however, did not get as excited about his meal, the bacon, egg and cheese on croissant as I was about mine. He said that he would try something on our next visit.
It's a great place to try for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We loved our dinner here yesterday, we had the peri peri chicken and the rib eye steak. Very nice bistro style outdoor patio!
New management here made some good changes. Happy to see the new hours and menu. Food was great. Will be returning for sure.
The peri peri and the srirachi shrimp were great, Loved the atmosphere!
Great little bistro in lake Mary. The food is great, unique menu, and the coffee/deserts are awsome
Glad to find a neighborhood bistro where everything is fresh fresh and authentic. The Benedict's were awesome!!
I tried the peri peri chicken skewers and they were delicious. Just the right amount of spices to make it spicy, but not enough to ruin the food. I loved it and will be going back again!!
We had breakfast here the other day. The food was amazing! I had the steak and eggs, it was so good! My husband had the eggs Benedict, he also loved it! I definitely recommend this restaurant. Service, atmosphere, and food were great! We tried the fresh limeade, it was very refreshing. French press coffee was perfect! It was a great place to spend our Sunday morning. It was so nice to eat our breakfast outside and enjoy the fresh air. Will be going back for sure. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu.
I enjoyed my peri peri chicken dinner very much. It had just enough spice to give it some kick, but not too much to where I could not taste my food. My friend had the 6 oz filet and said it was cooked perfectly and he enjoyed the flavor.
I am headed back up there tonight for dinner, hope it's as great as last time!!
We were extremely disappointed. It took 45 min to get our food, one dish wasn't even cooked, cold food that should have been warm was placed on hot plates, we had to listen to arguments between the wait staff, see others get up and leave, ran out of lemonade which was a special house made drink and only one of us liked the food. I had a good steak eggs benedict but the omelet was undercooked while the other omelets were not very good. My son asked for an omelet with bacon in it and they served the bacon on the side.
Restaurant was not busy. Ordered good at 11:15, 11:30 was told kitchen cooked wrong would be ready in 3-5 minutes. At 12 I went inside and asked for manager. At 12:05 server came out to tell us our food was wrong again. Would be another 10-15 minutes and we should just leave. We ordered off the menu -- it was not a difficult order. We never got our food so can't say whether or not it would have been good. My orally ruined our Mother's Day brunch. I would not recommend this restaurant. Nor would I ever return.
