Amazing food and drinks!
The food was wonderful!
Both inside and outside are perfect for small or large gatherings.
I absolutely love Coyote Crossing. The restaurant vibe is perfect for drinks or dinner with a large group of friends. The food is amazing and well priced.
Great food and ambiance, a little expensive. Excellent for special occasions. Outside dining area looks great. Too cold out for our visit to eat outside. We will return during warmer weather. They do not have patio heaters.
Always a good experience at Coyote Crossing. Food, service and ambience always very good.
i've always loved this place for over 20 yrs.
ironic coincidence: for Mother's Day i got the same grouchy waiter as i did last June.
he is a total buzz kill. he was working thee main room at the front.
attitide is no smile, no inflection of any internal happiness fr him. it's so obvious its a chore to be working there. he medsl see a video of himself as awake up call.
it's obvious listening to him ..this is just a job he's gotta do .and he begrudging asks the questions he should but eminates no pleasure or sense he wants the clients to enjoy them selves.
Bad karma fr him
We enjoyed our Mother’s Day dinner! In terms of food quality and atmosphere, everything was wonderful! As far as the service, it could have been a more pleasant experience. Our waiter was a bit cranky and it almost seemed like we were bothering him when we made requests. He rolled his eyes as if we were asking for too much. He was sort of robotic in his demeanor and didn’t have patience to hear us because he talked more than he listened. I will come back of course and hope the restaurant bounces back successfully from this pandemic! See you again soon! ☺️
This is my favorite place for food and drinks. Atmosphere is great. The drinks are amazing. I have recommended several friends who have also loved it here. Can’t wait to go back.
A little chilly to be outside but that’s ok. The service seemed somewhat slow and when the food came out there was some confusion as to who got what. Other than that, it was a fantastic experience.
Great food especially the cerviche and great service. Nice decor...worth the money
We had a very nice early Mother's Day dinner on Saturday evening 5/8. Our waiter Gio was excellent - gave us some great food recommendations and explained the menu to us well. He was very responsive to our needs. Margaritas were excellent and food was delicious!
Second time here and the food was amazing.
I first saw this place on “Philly Food Magazine” and had to go. So glad me and my boyfriend did. We absolutely love Mexican food. This food was so amazing it’s pure, fresh, authentic Mexican food in a great atmosphere with great drinks.
Perfect to celebrate a college graduation. Wish they opened the location in West Chester up again.
This is wonderful place for lunch or dinner, and the big outdoor patio felt both intimate and safely distanced. The outdoor patio is lovely, the service is great, and the food is delicious. And those margaritas are fabulous.
Couldn’t really judge the dinner since we weren’t acknowledged after ordering some appetizers. Pretty rushed service from get go. Got water since we asked & the free chips salsa. That was it. Left without even getting a check since our waiter never bothered to return or check on us. That’s how bad.
Food was excellent, server so so good. Never asked if we needed anything, let empty dishes on the table.
A woman came to the table to clear as we were leaving, very nice.
I assume they were short on help due to the COVID era when folks get paid more to stay home.
I will certainly go again, hopefully, they will be able to staff up. Everyone should give a restaurant a “by” for staffing issues during the lockdown.
I am a regular patron since I work nearby. We were away for most of last year due to Covid, so it was great to get back and be able to sit outside in their outdoor courtyard as well. Their menu was updated last year and so their food is that much better! The same classics, but better and updated to make it more modern and authentic!!! It's definitely worth the trip again! Especially with the warmer weather to be sit outside and enjoy the sun and breezes!!!
Awesome A+++++ food and service
great place. thought the server was great. we will go back again
We love this place but I think due to the busy because of cinco de Mayo the food took a hit. I think they pre cooked a lot of food because it didn’t taste as fresh and came out really quick
It started raining and they only switched a table with white people under the umbrella. They looked at us getting wet and walked past us. It was a white guy that works there. Other than that everything was great.
Waiter was slow. Ninety minute limit on table and we were not even offered coffee and dessert. Had to ask because he just brought check. Food was good after we had to send back octopus tacos because they were rubbery. Inedible. Replaced them with shrimp tacos which were good. Duck and mango quesadillas were good.
I was highly disappointed with my Tuesday night experience. From entry to being seated the hostess seemed to be irritable and rude. I took into account that these are difficult times particularly for the hospitality realm but decent service should always be the standard. The menu seemed interesting and my friends raved about this place so I sat with hopes of the food compensating for the less than desired service, boy was I wrong. It took literally 10 minutes for a server to greet us and get a round of waters for the table. Again, maybe they are understaffed we thought. No big deal. My party ordered seafood guac w/ grilled catcus which was pretty good. The menu states no substitutions, upon ordering fish tacos, a member of my party requested no aioli (dairy allergy). The waiter did not object or explain that this is a request that could not be fulfilled. The food came out, those tacos were drenched in the aioli, once we were able to finally locate the waiter to remake the tacos without the cream based topping he replied with "the chef preferred that you order something else".
Not allowing guest to swap out items is understandable for the sake of efficiency and the craft but to not accommodate the removal of a simple topping is something we could not fathom. The rest of the meals were decent. Would not return.
Great fast service with beautiful outdoor area
Very pleasant outdoor garden. Attentive service.
Food was excellent! Make sure you don’t have allergies because this restaurant does not make accommodations. I have 2 children with dairy allergies. They removed sprinkle of cheese from the guacamole but would not let them make changes to their meals which was disappointing. Our server said “chef said no modifications to any entrees” They sat there and did not eat. I had to feeds them take out on our ride home :(
Food, drink and atmosphere are excellent. Food tends to be on the spicy side.
The food, drinks, and outdoor seating are wonderful at Coyote Crossing! The guacamole, salsa, and margaritas are really good. The chicken quesadillas, shrimp tacos, and steak tacos were also delicious. We love this place!
We had a young girl server named Blake. She was a doll! Very friendly and efficient. Food is great, prices are also great! We ordered a pitcher of margaritas and the drinks were far from watered-down. I'll most definitely be returning!
We had shrimp & watermelon ceviche, shrimp& chicken fajitas, and side of grilled Brussels sprouts - all plentiful and delicious. Red sangria was also very good. We wanted to sit in their large outdoor patio but unfortunately weather didn’t cooperate- next time.
My husband & I have heard how “ great” this place was. So we decided to finally give it a try. We made reservations for outside at 6pm. We arrived early at 5:30 with no expectations, however they were able to sit us right away which was great.
The service for chips and a drink order was taken immediately. We ordered the Mezcal old fashion x2@$22 a piece, so this should be a wow!! To real disappointment The glass was not even halfway full of liquor I will attach a picture. And the color of the two drinks were different so the consistency was a bust, sad. I’ll attach our dinner, We shared the molcajete azteca Todos-DELICIOUS! During dinner we ordered a second round of drinks -nectar margarita- this was delicious! After we receive the dinner the service locked the place got busy.
So I give the restaurant over all a 3 out of 5.
I’d go back , but I’m not in any rush.
Had a birthday celebration here and everything was fantastic. The margaritas were so refreshing and the food was amazing and plentiful!
Food and ambience in the courtyard is great. Service was good too. I do not feel this is a kid friendly place; they have a kids menu but their salsa and guacamole had hot peppers in it. My daughter loved the chips but could not enjoy the salsa or guac, which made her sad. Offer a option to pay for fresh guac. Also, they must prepare many things earlier in the day so substitutions are not allowed. This is also surprising with all the dietary restrictions people have these days.
food. atmosphere, service were just average. Would not go back
What a wonderful dinner the service was good the food was good and the cocktails was out of this world will go back again
So disappointed with our experience last night. We were so excited to finally have a night out. Arrived for our 8pm reservation to find a parking lot crowded with people waiting. Not a great sign but we went to check in. The hostess told us it would be about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes i checked with the hostess and she said it would be another 15 minutes or so. I was frustrated at this point. She said I could speak to the manager and pointed her out. But the manager was busy dealing with other diners who were angry about their delayed tables and after waiting 10 minutes, she walked away and didn’t return. So we waited some more and finally after 40 minutes the hostess said a table indoors was open. We had reserved one outside but decided to take it since she couldn’t say how much longer the outdoor reservation would be and we had a babysitter waiting at home. When she showed us to our table the hostess asked if we still wanted to speak to the manager. I said we did but she never materialized. The tables were close together but the table next to us was empty so it felt safe enough. Our server was great and the staff was hustling. I felt bad for them because they all seemed so slammed and one of them was literally sprinting through the restaurant to deliver orders. But after we got our drinks the table next to us was seated and I could reach out and touch the diners. Definitely not six feet apart. We were immediately uncomfortable and asked for the check as soon as our food was delivered. The tacos were really tasty and it’s a shame we couldn’t enjoy our meal. We rushed through it and left and won’t return unfortunately.
Busy Saturday night but everyone was awesome and the food fantastic.
I felt like I walked into a little village of Mexico when we entered the patio. Great ambience, great food, great service!
Food was really good. Service was a little slow but it was busy and a Saturday night. Very noisy
