Coyote Crossing was awesome. The food was amazing, portion sizes were huge (we needed 2 tables!! For just 2 of us!).
- The queso fundido was the best we’ve had (and we order it everywhere we go)
- Guacamole was perfect
- They even have quesadillas on corn tortillas (for those who can’t do much gluten, like me)
For dinner, I had the Cameron al Chile Arbol, which is actually the dish that made me pick the restaurant. It was every bit as good as I’d hoped.
My boyfriend had a flank steak w/ mole sauce that he said was awesome too.
Our only regret is that somehow this place has been open for 22 years and we JUST found out about it. (Better late than never! 😬)
Looking forward to warmer weather and enjoying their patio!
Great food, atmosphere, and wonderful service
As always, food, service and cocktails were incredible!
We got there a little early for our reservation and the place was packed. The manager looked completely flustered. He told us it would be a little while before we were seated. We didn’t have a problem only we could not get to the bar and nobody offered to help us. We waited over an hour to be seated, when we had a reservation that was not honored. Once seated we then waited to be served. The food was good but not once did they did not make any effort to give us a free appetizer or even comp us for our drinks. We shouldn’t have had to say anything it should have been offered. He came right out and told us he took the walk-ins before us because of the power outages, not nice. Not sure I will run back. We complained about upgraded tequila that we did not receive and the waitress argued with us, and then she apologized because we were in fact correct.
Good food, good atmosphere. A little dark in main dinning room. Kid friendly.
Delicious as always!! Service wonderful. Margaritas fabulous.
Great food and service at the bar area and in the restaurant area. Cherub, our server, was the best!
I have been going to Coyote Crossing for 20 years, and I have always been pleased and impressed with the quality of the food, the service and the cocktails. The cilantro mezcal margarita was delicious, strong and fresh.
By far , my favorite gourmet Mexican food ever!!!!!
Great place. Good atmosphere. Always fun and good food. Service was great.
My husband and I went for a Valentines dinner we have wonderful romantic meal. The waiter and manager were so accommodating. We highly recommend Coyote Crossing we have been there several time before and will be back again.
Last minute reservation through OpenTable brought us here. Good food and excellent customer service! No disappointment at all.
Coyote Crossing never fails to please. We were here for Valentine's day and it was absolutely fabulous. The ambiance, the food, everything was spot on. The little touches like the decorations at the tables were great too. Wonderful.
I had eaten there before in past years, and had a reasonable experience, but what came back quickly as a reminder was how long it took for the food to get to the table. Then, when it arrived, the order was partially incorrect. The food was not as tasty as I recalled with the meat overdone and far less savory than in the past. We brought friends with us that evening. Really sorry it was not more of a rewarding dining experience.
Always an enjoyable experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great Mexican food.
Great service, fabulous ambiance!!! Food was very good not great. Kinda pricey but so worth going! We love it there and will return for sure!
A hidden gem. Food is incredible and the place is cozy and beautiful! Great cocktails and superb ownership
Our favorite restaurant. Food is always amazing never had a bad meal. Best atmosphere in the summer!
My experience at Coyote Crossing was very very good!!!! The food was excellent & the service was outstanding. Can’t wait to go again, especially when’s it’s warmer out to dine outside. Thank you!
Excellent taste and large portions
We had a quiet Sunday dinner at Coyote Crossing sitting by the fire. It was perfect. I had the vegetable fajitas and my husband had the chicken quesadilla. Food, service and experience were great as always.
Good food and ambiance.
Wonderful. Very good food. Service a little slow.
The waiter was hard to hear. He spoke in a very low voice and didn't seem to love what he was doing.
After 20 years food just keeps getting better, the bar is beautiful, margaritas are delicious and the tacos are incredible, can’t wait to come back .
Service was prompt and friendly. Wait staff made good recommendations. Food was well presented and hot on arrival and tasted great!
We went for the happy hour and the specialty cocktails were delicious. We each had the 2 tacos for $7 which were also wonderful. The meals were also very tasty. Our server was great and wonderfully informative about Mexican food and drinks. The place has great ambiance in the bar and dining room. The Mexican background music was also entertaining but not too loud.
Great drinks and taco specials. Very pricey otherwise. I'll go back on special occasions.
What a nice surprise to find this restaurant right in the middle of a residential section! The food was amazing! Coming from California I did not expect a lot from a Mexican restaurant in Pennsylvania... It exceeded my expectations in food and drink. Delicious chicken enchiladas mole. The guacamole was good and the new pomegranate cosmo with mezcal was delicious! I wish I lived closer to go again. Trust that I will be back when I'm on the east coast! Our server was great, Chris was great, Oscar was tending bar and doing a bang up job! The only person I missed meeting was Carlos who was away on a trip. Maybe next time! Thanks for a great meal!
Service was good, food was good and I loved the ambiance. We weren't able to sit outside because it was wet but it was definitely nice to look at. They kept the slide open, so the fresh air would come in. Also the drinks were really good. I recommend the red sangria
Service was very poor. Would not go back
There was a large birthday party in the bar area, and clearly they were not staffed to handle this. Apologies were made, but the service was so slow, and constantly looked around for the waitress for every little thing, like water refill, drink request, etc.
Cost was pricey for casual Mexican food but food and drinks were good.
We arrived on time for our 7.30 Saturday reservation, were seated immediately on the patio, but our meal didn’t arrive until 9:00! That’s unacceptable. The food was very good but we took most of it home because we were so full from munching on chips and salsa while we waited. That said, the outdoor area is very nice and the waitress was attentive and apologetic, said they were very short-staffed.
So, the night we dined Coyote was short on hostesses, servers, bartenders, and cooks. Apparently, multiple people had called out. I didn't mind waiting a bit longer for food, it was just that, they continued to seat people even though the table next to us had been waiting for food for two hours. When you're that backed up, it's not feasible to continue to seat people. Some tables even left.
Now the manager came out, apologized, and offered free drinks and was working behind the bar himself, and that was noticed and much appreciated. The ambiance is great. The dinner....I mean can you serve the fajitas with guacamole, salsa, our sour cream? The prices are a bit high to just get roasted vegetables and a few tortillas. Overall, the meals weren't impressive. Stick with the apps and the drinks-they were the best.
A great outside dining area.
Very good food and great margaritas.
Awesome food with a nice outdoor patio.
Restaurant was too noisy in bar area
Incredible food exceptional service . True gourmet Mexican cuisine.
Jason our server was very friendly! Sangrías were amazing here! Outside seating is perfect for summer!
Great experience, love the outdoor patio.
Tried 2 different entrees from the specialty area of the menu... loved both, and very impressed with the Mole sauce. The margaritas were awesome... highly recommend the jalapeno ginger, cucumber basil, and sometimes the have a mezcal margarita on special.
