Seems like more of a club atmosphere than a restaurant. They didn’t tell us the menus were online and then seemed annoyed we weren’t ready to order. Food was good but too salty. The music was coming from Spotify and I know that because they couldn’t spend the $10 a month to get it without adds so Kevin Hart tried to sell me credit cards through my whole dinner. Overall I don’t think we’ll go back.
Overall great experience. But the restaurant over booked themselves when I went & we had to wait for awhile. The lady at the front desk (the host) gave off bad energy. Idk if she was overwhelmed or not but her hospitality needs some improvement. My server was excellent!!! My food was good!! The margaritas .. perfect!!!
Food and ambience was great. Service can be better but probably because it was Friday night. Overall we had a great time.
Love this restaurant! Last night was especially crowded which meant slower bar services. Food was delicious. Drank my ordered wine after my entree.
It was my first time I drove by one day and decided to take my wife and by surprise the place was superb even though I drove from Levittown
Delicious authentic Mexican cuisine in an amazing lush courtyard setting with fabulous ambiance. A must try! You will return.
Although I love the food and drinks here I will never return.
I’ve come to coyote crossing many times but I have never had such a poor service experience there or anywhere. I’m not quite sure what was to blame - short staffed, the specific waitress, being overbooked - I’m not sure! I was with a group of 3 and we sat down and were seated with a basket of chips (thank goodness) we did not see our waitress for 30 minutes who claimed she didn’t know we were there. We ordered immediately and for drinks we all got a coke - very simple fountain soda, not a fancy cocktail. Nearly an hour goes by and still no cokes - we did not see our waitress and therefore asked someone else if we could get the cokes. Our food came and we were nearly done with our meals and still no cokes so I had to walk to the bar to get the cokes on my own!! The bartender offered a free margarita but we were not drinking and declined the offer. We then had to track down the waitress via the hostess to get our check and finally got the check AND paid for the 3 cokes. I had to complain because I am grateful for people who are actually working these days instead of soaking off of unemployment but…. It was a pretty disappointing experience.
Everything was on point!
This was our first time to this restaurant, it will not be our last! 6 of us all ordered something different and we loved everything. The Brussel sprouts, OMG! So good.
Dirty bathrooms, no soap or toilet paper. When highlighted to a hostess discretely was advised to use another bathroom in the same condition. Running 25 late for reservation. Had to ask repeatedly for napkins and silverware.
Had a great time as always for out date night
I tried something new and it was good will be back soon
We waited 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated, and another 20minutes for our waiter to come with water/menus. Each additional step—ordering, getting drinks, getting chips, etc. involved another 20-30 minute wait. It was not our waiter’s fault—he was literally running through the restaurant, but it was exhausting rather than leisurely to eat a meal here. The food was okay—some things good, some not so much, but the meal was VERY expensive for the inconvenience and delays, and the actual quality of some of the components. We will NOT be back.
Delicious food. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. If you can sit outside and weather permits, I highly recommend. Inside is nice as well. A little pricey but food was delicious so no complaints.
Awful service. Then on our way out a young girl passed out and the staff did not help at all
They were able to accommodate my request to an additional guest to my reservation. Thank you. Food was very good. They were very busy.
I've eaten here quite a few times in the past couple years. The food use to be good. I'm not sure why they changed the menu so drastically but it was hard to even find something to eat. Everything was way overpriced and not very good. I got a steak quesdilla that was sitting on top of pico de gallo making the quesdilla soggy. My rice that I was also an extra cost was completely overcooked and mush. I couldn't even eat it. I could have went to El limon for a 1/3 of the price and had a way better meal.
It's been 2 years since I've been to Coyote Crossing and my husband and I were very happy we revisited. The patio has expanded since we last visited and is a wonderful haven with beautiful plants and lights. The food was excellent and we received big enough portions to provide dinner the next night. We were there early (5:30 pm) and the patio was full and very energetic.
This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in the nice weather. Beautiful beautiful patio with a fountain, umbrellas to shade us, and wrought iron furniture-very comfortable and easy to clean. Food was excellent and the margaritas with Mezcal are unbelievable. I really missed this place. The paperless menus and billing has really revolutionized the simplicity of checking out.
Reservation was for 8:15, at 9:45 we were told that it would be 15m more for our food. We left having only had lemonade and chips/salsa. The surrounding streets are not lighted and parking is difficult. Being out of town, we weren’t sure if the area was safe or. not. Overall poor experience for our 1 night in PA.
I was celebrating a friends birthday!
Great attentive and professional service
Wonderful outside dining venue! We love Coyote Crossing Conshy!
I havent been to the restaurant for 20 years and back then wife and I would always laugh since it took forever to get food. Well had a biz meeting i area and decided to try again...
Poor tequila menu
Poor wine list
Poor training and wait staff
As soon as we sat down and gave order, first course came in less than 5 mins... not an issue. within 10 minutes, we just started the first course and 10 min later both of the mains came to the table. I told the runner to "send back as we havent even started the 1st', he replied that he cant because its cooked. I firmly instructed him to send back to the kitchen. This is about timing and training.
35 years in the restaurant business and I require acceptable service.
The shrimp enchilada was rich with a kick of heat to keep it interesting. The black beans had a nice smokey flavor. The service was friendly with just enough contact to make sure I was happy without being intrusive. I'd like to introduce this place to friends.
The vibe was terrific and the food was amazing fresh. The frozen margaritas were sooooo good and strong but smooth. Definitely going back soon!
Caesar salad came with the most delicious crusty roll I ever ate. (Some wonderful seasonings were broiled onto the top). It had a truly authentic traditional anchovy Caesar dressing too, which surprised me for a Mexican place. The tinga taco was to die for, as well as the just stupendous salsa that is served with chips when you sit down. Two negatives: #1--no menus to view, had to scan QR code with phone--can't do if you own a FLIP phone, so you'd basically have to leave. #2--music was from varied genres, but the hip hop was loud (in the bar area where we sat) with blatant profanity (yes, mother f**cker was said a few times and there was a 6 yr old child at the next table). OFFENSIVE. But the Mexican music [which was nostalgic to me from living in Mexico for 3 yrs, and what is anticipated, & expected] was great, when it would occasionally come on...interspersed with in-apropos hip hop. Other diners next to us were a Mexican family which is the best testimonial to how authentic the food is!
We had reservations for outdoor dining but was told there was a 15-20 wait. There were no stools at the bar to get a drink and wait for outdoor seating so we chose to eat inside. The waitress had 8 tables which is too many for anyone to be able to handle with good service. And because of that, our service was very poor. The food was excellent.
Always fantastic food and ambience!
Made reservation for outside table and then arrived told there would be a wait so decided to sit inside. Bad choice. Acoustics horrible. Very loud and hard to hear. Waiter had too many tables, food disappointing, margarita had a tablespoon of salt in the cup on the bottom & was warm - couldn’t have but 2 sips, waiter didn’t ask if we wanted dessert, felt ignored and rushed at the same time. Will not be going back….very disappointed.
It was very busy but I think the staff were doing the best they could do under the circumstances. The outdoor section is very cute. I would go again but maybe try something different then what I ordered. It wasn’t the best I ever had but it was not terrible.
Electronic menus ridiculous for such an extensive list. Service terrible. Noise too loud. Food good.
crowded, didn't honor reservation until 30min later, service slow and noisy. food good if over priced for mexi. a hyped place that doesn't justify the ratings.
Food was at best average tasting. I would not call it good food nor would I return. Way overpriced. We paid $140 plus tips for 6 adult tacos, 2 kids tacos, 1 plain guacamole,1 margarita=$22 and churros. Service was eh maybe ok at best. Overall crowded! Came on time. Waited 30 minutes for a reservation made for outside specifically and then hostess was taking us inside to eat instead, again reservation specifically made for outside.
We have not been to CC in about 15 years and we were completely blown away by our experience. First, the negatives: parking is pretty difficult on a Saturday night so know in advance, you will need to walk a couple of blocks; had to wait about 15 minutes in line to even say we had arrived for our reservation; we were told it would be another 20 minutes to get a table outside which we noted in our reservation via open table. We opted to be seated in the bar which was wide open to the lovely courtyard and the seats were very comfy. The seats outside looked less comfortable so we were happy in the bar. It looked like they had made some changes since the last time we dined there. The atmosphere was very hip with colorful murals/graffiti and cool lighting. What really impressed us was the speed of service. The place was super, super busy so we assumed it would take forever for our server to arrive at our table but once seated, we had a basket of chips within seconds and our sever within minutes. He plugged our drink and food orders into a handheld device and the drinks and app came out in 10 minutes or so and our mains not much later. The staff was swift and coordinated. In the short time we were waiting for food and throughout our meal, we noticed they really hustled. They were literally running… Everyone from hostess to bus boy/girl, server. When a party left a table, three people would swoop in without a word and turn the table over in 60 seconds. One person busing, one wiping, and one setting silverware. It was as if they had a command center and Invisible walkie talkies. I have never seen nothing like it. Kudos to the management!
The food was great… husband had a few different tacos and I had shrimp and chicken fajitas. We also had the Brussels as an app and churros for dessert. We loved everything and portion size was generous. We are looking forward to our next visit… very impressed.
Wonderful outdoor dining.
Excellent a little slow getting dinner but worth the wait when it arrived. My 2nd time there. Will go again.
Stumbled across this gem! I think it’s my new favorite Mexican restaurant!
Food was very good and wait staff was amazing. Missed a fifth star because of long wait in spite of having a reservation. Restaurant is obviously very popular and for a good reason. However, until they make some adjustments to ensure that people with reservations are seated promptly, customers should plan on making a reservation at least 15 minutes before they want to be seated, arrive on time for reservation, and then wait for at least 20 minutes to hopefully be seated within 5 minutes of the original time that they wanted to dine. Fortunately, the drinks available at the bar are exceptional and help pass the time spent waiting.
Should not be listed on Open Table. Fraud.
Beautiful place, great ambiance and drinks but food too spicy
