We bought two out-of- guests for dinner last night and they enjoyed it immensely. Great cocktails. Wine list not overly large but well thought out and, for the most part, reasonably priced. Elk tenderloin was excellent. Service--with special recognition to Robert--was outstanding.
Very well run. Excellent service. Outstanding food
Lively atmosphere, attentive service and food was very good. Would recommend.
Fantastic food and service. Will be back!
Great service, fun menu. Wine list was extensive but expensive for everyday folks. Very few bottles were under $100. We ordered one glass each instead. The fish special was excellent!
Overrated food and disappointing service
The sea bass was delicious and the presentation was outstanding!
Fifth time there. Outstanding as usual.
Excellent service with sensitive servers who did NOT interrupt our storytelling. That is VERY important to us & is the sign of a top notch restaurant. Food, wine, ambiance was all great. AND, the noise level was perfect. We could hear each other (& the servers) even though the restaurant was packed. Bravo to Coyote!!!!! Next year, when we visit, we look forward to another dinner at Coyote.
Had the best filet mignon, and the scallops were delicious. Will go back, excellent service.. pricey but worth it. Great onion rings
The service and food were very good. We had three items from the menu and all of them were very satisfying. Perfect portions. Also had a very nice "wine by the glass" list.
As always Coyote Cafe was remarkable. From the service to the spectacular food, it is an experience not to be missed in Santa Fe. We had the pork chop and eggplant ravioli. Both are great. We also had the squash blossom for an appetizer.
My wife had sea bass and I had elk. Food was excellent. Service very good. Pricey, but you know that going in. One of the best restaurants in Santa Fe.
We ate dinner there in July 24. Our waiter was excellent, fun and just the right attentive. Our appetizer-squash blossom tempura-was delicious, and our main courses-sea bass and scallops-were also. The dessert-key lime pie-was forgettable. The high noise level is a thing now, but the restaurant is not a bar; the noise distracts greatly from the opportunity to have a good evening. Just why…
Excellent food, service and wine. Sommelier was friendly and gave excellent advice. Will always go back to this restaurant and rate this as one of our favorite through our travels.
We were traveling and researched the best place to dine in Santa Fe. We like being able to make reservations in crowded areas! We had no idea that an event was going on downtown, which meant more people, and less parking.😩 We really dislike crowded spaces and chaos!! However, our reservation was at 6, and there was a public parking space close by. We got parking, no problem. We sat at the bar, as that was all that was available, and we knew that per our reservation. It was so much fun watching the guys prepare all the entrees. We learned so much, and that was not our intention. The guys were so friendly and fun to watch. About the food… it was exceptionally great!! We totally Enjoyed our experience there!!
This is one of our favorites. The service is impeccable, the food and cocktails are amazing and every time we bring friends here, they are wowed!
Wonderful presentations, great food. Each course was special.
Excellent food and service. I will go back again when in the area.
Our service was excellent. My husbands food had to be sent back. He ordered the elk and was looking forward to his meal. When it arrived, the garlic mash was barely room temp and the elk was burned on one said, raw in the middle. The meat also tastes like gas. Our waitress was awesome and immediately offered to get him something else. She was able to very quickly return with a pork chop that was ok. I had the sea bass and that was delicious.
Outstanding food, wonderful wait and host staff, exceeded our expectations!
Had an awesome dining experience, food and service top notch
The food was excellent however the timing was very slow. Our server did best to cover, but it was not as it should have been for this high end restaurant
Wonderful cocktails, salad and sea bass!! Service was exceptional!!!
Superb food and service. A truly wonderful experience.
Birthday for 5. I think we ate everything on the menu. It was a lot and all fabulous! Service was outstanding and excellent.
The ambiance is a little dated. The seating has always been a bit odd. We sat in low cushioned chairs, I felt like I needed a booster seat.
Might be time for a refresh. I know hard in these times….
Not complaining it was lovely we will return time and time again
The Coyote Cafe is such a lovely place to eat. I sat at the counter and watched the kitchen staff do their magic. Lots of friendly people sitting at the counter, both locals and tourists. Good conversation. Food and drinks were exceptional, as always.
We were seated at the countertop and watched the chefs did their magic. Roberto did it better than the Flamingo dancer performance. Ben is a very considerate server and we appreciated him checking up on us frequently.
It was our first time at Coyote Cafe and we hosted friends we hadn't seen in many years who were visiting Santa Fe. We received friendly and prompt attention all evening and really enjoyed the experience. We loved the food and wine and would recommend this restaurant.
I don’t write reviews but this place is a don’t miss. The food was amazing. Quinn the owner came over a couple of times to check that everything was tasting good. Ask to sit in Carlos section he is an amazing waiter. Will be back for sure the next time I’m in Santa Fe.
Great food and experience. Staff was outstanding!!
Beautiful presentation, delicious food and cocktails, and Rob took wonderful care of us. Perfect way to celebrate our anniversary!! Love you guys!
We had the elk tenderloin and pork chop entree’s. Bothe were excellent. Service was great. Highly recommend.
Food was excellent! The mussels were the big hit of the evening. The waiters couldn’t have been better. I really can’t say enough about the service.
There are a lot of special places in Santa Fe, but to us this is one of the most special you can find. Try the venison carpaccio, it’s exquisite. We came back the next day for more. The staff is wonderful and made the meal even better. We can’t wait to come back. If you can ask for Robert to be your waiter, although everyone is wonderful. We love you Coyote Cafe!
Fantastic service, excellent food, a bit pricey. Would recommend for a splurge!
Great service and food
We had a terrific time at Coyote Cafe, the food and service were great! The noise level was too loud for my preference though.
Had early dinner reservation. Wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Pricey menu but WELL worth it. Altogether an outstanding meal and experience!!
Great ambiance and service.
Food was spectacular! Paris (our server) was amazing.
