Coyote Cafe continues to be Santa Fe's ICONIC restaurant, established in 1987, Coyote Café is recognized as the restaurant that brought modern southwestern cuisine to the country.

Must-have dishes include Foie Gras & Diver Scallop, Futomaki Caesar Salad and the legendary 24-ounce "Cowboy Cut" Ribeye, a nod to our Southwestern legacy. Contemporary favorites also include Peppery Elk Tenderloin, Mesquite Grilled Lobster Tails, Hawaiian Tuna Poke and of course, Green Chile Mac 'n Cheese.

An Award Winning Wine List - with hard to find selections like Sine Qua Non - is complemented by a full bar which includes unique signature cocktails.

We had the pleasure of meeting Nicole and Quinn (owner/chef) last night. From the original Senorita margarita to the fried chicharronies to the elk tenderloin to the key lime tart, the meal was spectacular. We were treated like royalty and it was absolutely the best meal we’ve had in Santa Fe!! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation!

Food was good. Service was fine. The restaurant was so loud that I developed a headache half way through. You could get hoarse talking to your neighbor.

Food good, steak a little tough, service good although entree took overly long to arrive.
Server friendly and personable, with the exception that he addressed my friend and I by our first names (this was uncomfortable and unprofessional). He also touched our arms. Normally ok but We are strangers to him.

The newly renovated Coyote Cafe is a winner in every sense of the word. It has kept the best of the past (the Elk Tenderloin, the bar seating, the great bartender (Julian), and updated the interior in a very visually pleasant way. The menu has been expanded, offering some of the best starters and appetizers in the city. The food is fresh, artful, and delicious. The seafood is outstanding, and the meat and vegetarian options are equally good. Outstanding and attentive service but never intrusive. While a full meal at Coyote isn't cheap, it delivers full value with no spending regrets. Excellent wine list, creative cocktails, and desserts to kill for. Go.

We wanted to try the restaurant, as opposed to the Cantina, for dinner. We chose the Restaurant Week Menu. The food and the service were excellent but the tables are a bit close together and the noise level was NOT conducive to conversation. I am not sure if I would go back another time though our food was very good.

After this visit, Coyote Cafe is now our #1 restaurant in Santa Fe. My Osso Buco was magnificent as was the butternut squash soup. The service was amazing! Our server from 3 months ago stopped by to say hello! The best combination of knowledge, clear communication, there when needed and no interruptions at the wrong time. Great table clearing and serving - both team activities. The space has just been re-done and I have to say it was fresh and different but didn't in any way damage the ambience. Price was fixed because it was Restaurant Week...$45 for 3 courses. Bravo!
