Outstanding experience (again!). Quinn (the owner) took a hands-on approach with all of his guests and ensured a first class experience. Nate was our service Captain and we couldn’t have asked for more. Huge kudos. We’ll definitely be back.
Overall the experience was great. My reservations were for 8pm and we were not seated until 8:45pm. Needless-to-say, it was after 10pm before we left the restaurant. Food and service was very good. Again, the only negative was not being seated at the correct time. You took 45 minutes of four people’s time that was not yours to take.
One of the best restaurants we’ve been to , the entire experience was good!
Our server, Brian, was outstanding!
We had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. They either were double booked or bumped us from our Open Table reservation. This was unacceptable. The hostess did not seem to care. People who came in later than us got seated. I felt like maybe she didn’t want to seat us because I had a 10 year old child.
Once seated, the service was good; the waiter brought us complimentary drinks because of the inexcusable wait time; the ambiance was modern with a nice blown glass chandelier; the food was inventive. The best part was the banana cream pie with carmelized bananas and creme brûlée crispiness. It was divine.
Overall, I’d say this restaurant is trendy, hipster-y, not kid-friendly, with a need for better training of hostess and more attention to reservations and seating wait times.
The Coyote, for me, is the "number one" dining experience in Santa Fe. The service and cuisine as always, is at the top, and the new decor is the best in comfort and style. Elegant without being stuffy. Completely delightful.
The food was great and the service was even better!!
Outstanding food, service and ambience for a reasonable price.
We loved the food; our waiter was great; food was a little slow coming from the kitchen. I would not recommend this for small children as there are not menu options for them. No, I do not want chicken fingers on the menu, but I would like to see some child-size portions if I were to bring my grandchildren again. Overall, Coyote Cafe was great!
It's rare that the service outshines the food. Kristen and Adrian were amazing and gracious hosts. I recommend the lobster.
Coyote Cafe was easy walking distance in and about downtown Santa Fe. Nice environment with not too much noise but vibrant atmosphere. The place was crowded on a Sunday evening but we were seated on time and served within a reasonable amount of time. The drinks/food/wine were great! The wait staff was attentive and address small issues that occurred. (menus, steak knife...etc). I would definitely recommend and make a trip back during my next visit to Santa Fe.
This was an amazing experience for my wife’s birthday. We were very well taken care of and the food was amazing. Thank you to all of those at Coyote Cafe for this memorable night.
Absolutely fabulous all the way around. Best restaurant I have been to in a long time and I live in snobby san francisco!
Dining at Coyote Cafe was a culinary experience. We discovered the Coyote Cafe 24 years ago. The spare occasions we are able to visite Santa Fe, coyote Cafe is on top of our wish list. Last time was 15 years ago, and our expectations were easily met! Again.
The evening was wonderful start to finish The hostess greeted us with a smile and seated us right away
Our server was very knowledgeable he gave excellent recommendations for starters and dinner
The restaurant knew it was my husbands birthday and graciously dessert was on them, candle and all
By far the best dinner location in Santa Fe and we've been visiting and dining there for over 10 years now
Well done Coyote Cafe March 2018
Went on a Friday night. Seated right away. The service was extraordinary. I have been fortunate to eat at many excellent places across the country and this ranks among the best. We were given a small sample of a delicious prosecco to start. Had an excellent app of stuffed squash blossoms with lobster and cream cheese. Then had the mesquite grilled lobster tails with homemade pasta.
Delicious. Homemade cornbread a treat.
Too full for dessert. Our host Paris was as good as it gets. If in Santa Fe, don’t miss this place!
Fabulous on all accounts. Food, service, ambience.
I had not been to CoyoteCafe for a good 10 years and so glad we returned. It was convenient for a pre-concert dinner at the Lensic Theater. The food was stellar, our server Kristin was warm, professional and excellent. Everything about the place was top notch, as I recall it always was. My eye just got distracted by the shiny new things in the neighborhood. But you cannot out do experience, and the rubbed, fine sheen of class and long time excellence. I won’t wait another 10 years to go back.
The Coyote has always been special, but with the modernized decor, superb service and, of course, a superior menu it must be ranked in the top world-wide best restaurants, PERIOD.
This was my partner's 50th bday dinner and I'm so glad I chose this restaurant! The whole experience was superb, food was mouth watering, and the service top nothch; thank you, Paris!
This was our best Santa Fe dining experience yet. The food was terrific - a whole new take on Caesar Salad - great, substantially-sized entrees, a knowlegable, friendly and efficient server, and comfortable, roomy seating (mostly round booths) made for a thoroughly enjoyable dinner. Prices are what you can expect in the neighborhood. Elevator to the second floor dining area is available but not obvious. A very well run establishment all in all.
I have not been to Santa Fe in probably 20 years. 20 years ago the Cowboy Cafe was a most memorable experience. Now, 20 years later Cowboy Cafe is just as good if not better. Everything and everyone about this place is just exceptional
Attentive service. Excellent cuisine beautifully presented. Recently renovated tastefully modern decor. Not noisy.
The decor is modern and very interesting. We enjoyed the food, which was served beautifully and very appealing to the eye. Best of all was the service. Our waiter was very tuned in to our every need and provided in-depth descriptions of menu items, plus an additional dessert on the House! Couldn’t have been a more pleasurable evening.
Visiting Santa Fe and had been to more traditional Northern New Mexican Cuisine, decided to try a different twist on that cuisine for our last day. Wonderful ambiance and decor. Had an outstanding sauvignon blanc. Delicious Banana cream pie dessert, 5 star service. We had Tacos al pastor and delicious pork chop. Would return in a NY minute when back in Santa Fe!
My wife and came to Santa Fe to celebrate our 50th anniversary and a a fantastic dinner. We have dinner here over the years and just renovated beautiful space, great food and very nice staff.
Food was great wait staff and recommendations superb
Dinner for 2. Special Place! Nice food, Friday nights can be noisy
The food and service were outstanding. Highly recommended and we will return!
New decor us spot on! Food superb and service as well. You can not go wrong at the new Coyote Cafe. The Cantina is now "all weather" and so much better.
Beautiful new decor - it was a wonderful experience.
Great food and service! Cocktails were okay. Loved the atmosphere. Price point seems a bit high for the food/drink quality, but we really enjoyed ourselves.
Excellent. Great new interior, creative food and great service.
Our server Ben was excellent!
Great food with excellent service. The squash soup was excellent. The homemade bread and corn muffins were superb. The main entrees were an artistic presentation and tasted awesome. They have an excellent wine and drink selection. The banana pudding and Meyer lemon cheesecake were awesome
I’m a repeat customer because the food is top notch and the service has always been flawless.
Enjoyed Restaurant week outing. Will be back for special occasions.
We had the pleasure of meeting Nicole and Quinn (owner/chef) last night. From the original Senorita margarita to the fried chicharronies to the elk tenderloin to the key lime tart, the meal was spectacular. We were treated like royalty and it was absolutely the best meal we’ve had in Santa Fe!! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation!
Great service and great food!
We were disappointed. We went for restaurant week with 4 friends, 6 in all. Not one thought the food was worth it. My fish was good, but not great, my friend's husband returned his meal. Everyone was polite and service was good. The place is very pretty. Coyote used to be exceptional but it wasn't this time.
Food was good. Service was fine. The restaurant was so loud that I developed a headache half way through. You could get hoarse talking to your neighbor.
