An Award Winning Wine List - with hard to find selections like Sine Qua Non - is complemented by a full bar which includes unique signature cocktails.
Food was great and beautifully presented. Great service and very accommodating. Will definitely go back!
Small place but great dish choices and amazing beverages.
It is still as excellent as ever. Fresh ingredients, inventive menu, and superior service.
Outstanding in every way! Inventive recipes and excellent service
Valentine's Day. Extraordinarily busy. The food was great but the real star was the service. Hands down the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. There was no hovering, but our glasses were never empty, each course was timely (but never too soon), the pacing was perfect. Even if the food wasn't stellar we would go back again and again for the service.
Once again, Quinn, Nicole, Eduardo and a fabulous team hit it out of the park. The food was on point, and the service was wonderful. This was for my wife's birthday and Valentines Day… no pressure, right? Amazing service from Paris, made this special night even better.
Excellent place for a Valentine's Day special dinner. Lots of options for even pickier eaters.
Nicole and her team were awesome!
World class! Visiting from vail Colorado for a long weekend. Ben our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and on his game! The food blew away any expectations I may have had , over the top ! Drinks were also fantastic! Outstanding job!!
Excellent food and service. We'll be back!
This was our first visit. We enjoyed the food very much... my corn soup was outstanding and I then had elk tenderloin...mmmm. The decor is modern but still feels western at the same time. We will return next time we are in Santa Fe.
The food was delicious. Our server Paris was fabulous!
We all loved our meals--- delicious, correctly portioned, and beautifully presented. Service was professional and friendly. Great location with easy parking nearby. Only negatives from our standpoint are having to pay so much extra for side dishes (which with our entrees, really weren't needed so we passed on them) and the overall ambiance--- somewhat dated and cliché --- but on flip side, energy and noise levels were good for conversation without the space feeling sterile or too 'old people quiet'.
If you are looking for a restaurant with outstanding service, fantastic food, and wonderful ambiance, you must go to Coyote Cafe. It is just spectacular!
Amazing! We sat at the counter and had so much fun watching the chefs prepare the most amazing meals. They were more then happy to tell you what they were doing. The service was perfect and the food was over the top!
From greeting to server to owner visit to fabulous food and ambiance we loved our evening . My husband loved the elk and I picked Osso bucco over the scallops and it was wonderful. For sure will return !
Food and service was great - the food just came out really fast and we were done with the whole dinner in 40min
Great vibrant experience!
I had the pleasure of dining at Coyote Cafe last week. We sat at the counter which is one of my favorite spots to dine as I truly enjoy watching as Chef Eduardo and his staff prepare all the wonderful entrees. Filet mignon was amazing along with a side of the green chile mac and cheese and a Senorita Margarita! Ambiance is gorgeous and the service is impeccable. Quinn has done an exceptional job in making certain that his guests have a memorable experience. Hats off to the entire Coyote team.
Impressive experience. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. Thank you, Coyote Cafe!
Went for special dinner. It was a wonderful experience form start to finish. Highly recommended for romantic dinner
Everything about our dinner at Coyote Cafe was on point. The food was delicious and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Kristen was fantastic! This has been our best dining experience in Santa Fe so far!
Coyote Cafe is simply outstanding. The food is beautifully presented and every bite of every dish is delicious! The service is superb; the ambience is perfect -- comfortable and easy to talk with your guests. Quinn, the owner, is so welcoming, as well as being so very knowledgeable, and a kind, exceptional person. We had not been to Coyote Cafe in years and now I have been there nearly every week and have taken all of our out-of-town company to eat there!
Fabulous food and fabulous service. Highly recommended.
Expensive, but worth it. Were there on a quiet night-Super Bowl Sunday-but excellent service and food. Did not see or taste a drop in service or food from several years ago when we visited. Bought 2 apps and shared an entree. They were quite happy to split the entree and still more than enough food. For a lovely evening with good food and wine, go to Coyote Cafe.
One of my favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. Rock star food and service. Thank you Coyote Cafe ❤️🙏🏽🥂👏🏽
One word - Outstanding...!
Kindly and warmly greeted and treated
Comfortable setting for a great anniversary dinner. Gabriela was our waitress and she was exceptional. Attended to us and made sure we were always comfortable with everything we needed. Food was excellent. Would definitely visit again.
My birthday celebration was memorable! Look forward to the next reservation.
Great food, Margaritas and atmosphere. One of my staples in Santa Fe!
Everything far exceeded any and all expectations. Our server Farris, was exceptional. We loved the Elk Tenerloin and the Osso Bucco. Couldn’t imagine our experience being any better! Thank you!!!
Food was extremely salty. The portions were also much smaller, yet the prices were higher. I had the elk tenderloin, and my wife had the lobster pasta. She had to return her meal because the lobster was far too salty. Then they came to our table to tell us they are out of lobster, even though it was 7 PM on a Friday night. Also, I made a reservation for a specific seat about a week in advance. I get to the restaurant to find out that my preferred seat was already booked. They told me they tried to call me that day, but no message was left. This has been our anniversary spot every year for 12 years. After this experience, we agreed to choose another go-to restaurant.
Since leaving this review, the owner has reached out five times with increasingly angry responses, including a statement that as a local business owner, I am also up for public criticism (unless I change my review?!?). He's even emailed my personal email account. Be very wary of leaving feedback.
We had dinner at the Coyote Cafe because they where donating 100% of the proceeds to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. We wanted to support the shelter and it had been a while since we had had dinner there. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. The noise level was a bit energetic so it was a bit hard to hear our other table mates but I was so glad to see the outpouring of support for the shelter so I didn't mind. We will be sure and go back again.
We consider Coyote Cafe a Santa Fe favorite. That it held a fundraiser for the animal shelter raises my esteem even further.
Of the four of us at dinner, 3 of our main courses were over-salted - not enough to send back, but still unpleasant. This technique is supposed to make the eater order more alcohol, but it is really annoying. Service for the first hour (in which nothing happened) was horrible - but once we complained we were served very well. My filet was almost tasteless except for the strong salt flavor - the so-called truffle butter had no flavor. The lobster tails were over-cooked and dry - and again, too salty. The duck confit was quite good. The game tenderloin was also too salty. The deserts were very good, but everything was creamy - very little fruit and nothing for those who are lactose intolerant. So noisy that the four of us were unable to hold a conversation. AND, the decor reminded one of an upscale diner!
It was excellent food and service for an outstanding cause.
Food and wine were outstanding. Very pricey but we were at a charity event so we didn’t mind paying a bit more than usual. The wait staff were professional and knowledgeable and added to the evening.
I consider my self a connoisseur and have dined in some of the finest fine restaurants around the world, Paris, London, Cape Town to name a few. Coyote Cafe is simply the best compared to all the aforementioned. The food selection was tasty, served in the state of the art cutleries and fine plates, and the portions were just right. But to top it all, the staffs, servers and the chefs were super knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Graciela was our server and she knows her onions. She certainly gave us an everlasting experience. I promise you, you will love this place. I certainly plan to be back.
Had a guest from out of town for dinner. The food was fabulous - the three of us all got different dishes and we were pleased with them all. Same goes for the starters and desserts. Our waiter had the right balance of attention without intrusion. In my opinion, Coyote Cafe is in close competition with Geronimo’s to be the best restaurant in Santa Fe and my husband and I eat at most of the nice places in town.
