   The Restaurant is beautiful and a short walk from DPAC. They have small and large plates which is defined as appetizers and entrees. A small plate can be a meal. Service was wonderful. First visit and will definitely come back. Wish glasses of wine were slightly less than $17-19 each since two glasses is almost $40. Besides that my friend had a strawberry martini and loved it. Thank you for the corner booth. 😊

Our wine prices are a little higher because we pour quartino's instead of glass pours which is 9oz pour instead of a 6oz pour for a glass.    Great service on Mother's Day but the food was a mixed bag. Very good banana bread. Devil egg's had multiple competing flavors which was a bit strange. The breakfast sandwich had baked egg which was interesting but not the best flavor. Super nice people and I like the location and setting.

   Nice appetizers. Rushed service. Waitress removed 1/2 our dinner plates while the rest of us were still eating. Fish special was very bland. Pork chops and braised rib were enjoyed.

   Drinks were tasty, service was phenomenal, food was exceptional. Highlights: the orechiette starter with pasta and pesto yumminess, the Bull Burger, the slow-cooked short rib, and finally the most exquisite crème brûlée we have yet experienced.

    Three people at my table ordered the noodles but one substituted the tofu for chicken and she loved it. The other two, ordered it as is and both thought the tofu needed seasoning. The spice level was a little too high for my mom but just right for my son.

    We did brunch on Sunday and everything was top notch from our greeting to touring all of the artwork after. Our servers Alyssa and Mackenzie were amazing. Will definitely be back!

    We love the Counting House for breakfast and lunch. I was not as impressed with the dinner. My noodles did not seem soft enough. Also, we did not like our seating. The side I sat on was uncomfortable. Next time I will ask for chair seating, Breakfast there was the best. Oh, I almost forgot, I loved the salad. The service was excellent. Sorry, they are not doing lunch any more.

    The portions are very small and you need at least 3 dishes. For a high end restaurant I would expect service personal to wear professional outfits. The service woman was very friendly and ambitious. Please next time do not take the champagne glasses with you before the customer had finished drink.

    Honestly the menu is very small, and the place was empty on Saturday at 1pm for lunch which kinda killed the vibe.

    A nice restaurant. Ambiance was good. The bathrooms were ... interesting. Unfortunately, one was "used" ... and you could see it from the hallway. Service was good. The "greeter" was awesome and full of energy.

    I drive an hour to eat in Raleigh at least once a month. Countinghouse is my favorite place to have dinner. The menu changes frequently and the service is unsurpassed. The ambience feels like Soho New York.

    Overall very good. The salad was great as was the milk bread. The poached pear small plate was just strange. The combination of cold poached pears, pesto, pistachios, and grilled sourdough bread was not good. Everything else was top notch.
