Cotton Ratings and Reviews
Amazing food, great service, they would have brought a cake out for my boyfriend if he hadn't been so adamant about no dessert lol.
The only issue was having to wait 15 ish minutes after our reservation time which was 6:45 to be sat due to how busy it was. You could not get in without a reservation until 9pm.
Food was great. Bartender (female) not unfriendly but certainly not welcoming and or overly pleasant. We had one drink each and it felt like we were an inconvenience to her. Same with the waitress. Perhaps they didn’t care for us? Can’t imagine we did anything unpleasant. You can’t like everyone I guess. Would not go back. I did still tip 20+%.
We have enjoyed this restaurant for a couple of years now. Cotton has a friendly host and Karen was a wonderful server. The food is always excellent! This was the first time I ever used Open Table, though. What a great idea! I especially liked that the reservation connected to my calendar. Everything was perfect for our date night.
Restaurant closes at 9:30. Strange when you are out for an evening with friends. Server recommended that we not order more drinks because it was 9:42. My recommendation is to not take reservations at 8:00 if there is a hard close at 8:30.
Good place for an early intimate date. Not a good place for a group of people to enjoy an evening and not the friendliest of wait staff; walked by a group folding napkins on the way out and none of them acknowledged us.
Overall decent experience as food was phenomenal and they were very accommodating on Whole30 requirements . Perhaps just the wrong restaurant for us.
We got together with a couple of friends before a show and all four of our entrees were disappointing. Usually love Cotton but it was a miss this time. I got the ravioli and it must've been sitting under the heat lamps for a while because all my raviolis were dry and hard around the edges.
I had been there for lunch and decided to go with my husband for a date for dinner on a Saturday . The very long and short of this is, food was very good. Waitress was horrid. She needs a lot more training, didn’t know menu, etc. etc. my husband will not return. Know lots of people who have not experience this, plus my lunch experience was great. Serving are a very good size. So do give it a try, just don’t have Margaret as a waitress. I have emailed restaurant about this issue , so hopefully they will give her some more training.
We totally enjoy this restaurant! The food has consistently been good! The servers are always pleasant and are very good at timing when to serve the entree, etc.
Would highly recommend Beckie.
At the bar, our favorite is Duane. He makes martinis with perfection! And is very conscientious of his guests.
We have brought many friends to Cottons and they we pleased enough to go back again and bring their friends.
Great menu with creative dishes, with great preparation and presentation. The service was first rate. The entrance was a little hard to find as we were unfamiliar with the location. We started with the crab cakes over corn and black bean relish, needed a little more sauce. The calamari were fresh and well fried, with a taste of garlic, light on the peppers. The flat iron steak was cooked as ordered and the Steak Diane was flavorful. Both served on a large bed of mashed potatoes. Would come here again when in the area
This a date with my girlfriend
We have been to Cotton many times and we wanted a sure bet no hoping or wishing that the meal would be good
It’s always good and almost guaranteed your going to have a wonderful experience the food always get the specials as you know it’s super fresh
I love the booths and the service it’s always impeccable
I know when I go it’s going to be great!!!!
That’s what I like consistent quality!!!!
My husband and I love Cotton, have visited many times, and have submitted more than one review. Our visit tonight was just as outstanding as previous ones. We both ordered the evening's special, which was a shrimp and scallop pesto dish. It was delicious. Another thing I really appreciate about Cotton is their willingness to accommodate. I'm not a big fan of scallops so I inquired about double shrimp -- no problem at all for them. The drinks are terrific, tonight we had their signature manhattan and spiced pear nectar martini. And of course the potstickers appetizer. And the restaurant is so clean and stylish. After a very tough week, our visit was a much-needed distraction and we couldn't have been happier to have gotten our "attitude adjustment" there. We will, of course, be back. It's never a question of 'if' -- just a question of 'when'.
We celebrated New Year’s Eve with another couple at Cotton. We expected to be rushed out so that the tables could be turned…we were pleasantly surprised that Cotton only booked one seating for the entire night.
There was a special New Year’s Eve menu, that satisfied all 4 of us. As vegetarians my friend and I selected the acorn squash which was huge and delectable. My husband had the onion apple cider soup and the pork chop. His mouth was watering, and he described his meal as “YUMMY”. Our friend had the onion apple cider soup and the swordfish and was bowled over by how good it was. For dessert we had the apple gallett which was incredible, and our friend had a chocolate bomb which he swooned over.
Our server was Scooter and she made us feel like the only ones in the restaurant. Her recommendations were accurate and our water glasses were never less than full – even after we paid the bill.
