A little pricey. Some of the lunch entrees looked like a tapas restaurant. EXCELLENT FOOD & Service
My mom and I ejoyed a great brunch in the outside seating area. The food and the service was exceptional.
A perfect meal, a great table and venue, great staff
The staff was friendly and accomodating, even to the point of pulling out my wife's chair and offering to hang her coat. The waiter made great suggestions, which we followed, and which did not disappoint. My wife and I shared a nice complimentary champagne toast for our anniversary, followed by a beautiful and tasty charcuterie tray with hand-broken bread and tasty spring water. I had the Duck Trio, which was presented quite nicely with sides of white beans and greens, while my wife thoroughly enjoyed her main course of scallops.
The price was surprisingly reasonable, making our only regret the fact that we did not have time for desert. next time - cheesecake!
Lovely Anniversary Dinner! It’s so lovely, the ambiance is perfect, and the food is delicious.
Excellent service amazing food and wonderful romantic ambiance with Sinatra and Buble music in the background ! My husband and I will be back !!
Outstanding as always
Cozy place to walk into on a stormy night in Huntsville . It was a classy experience from the moment we met the valet out front until we left two hours later. Historic brick walls , well dressed servers, and windows with a view of the first national bank built in 1836 contributed to the ambience . The food was excellent. The flounder I had reminded me of a similar dish served at the Atchafalaya located in the garden district of New Orleans.
Service was good, the food was good, but the bathroom cleanliness was substandard for a decent restaurant.
The Sunday brunch was excellent and service was super.
Spent the evening with my wife to celebrate her Birthday and our 31st Wedding Anniversary. The Service was great, the food was great but believe the menu could use a few more selections.
I was hoping for a little more intimacy rather than being seated so near the bar but it was comfortable.
Took my family out for a thank you dinner while visiting and had a wonderful experience. While the cost was a bit high for a random dinner outing, the service, food and overall experience was wonderful and made our family night out one to remember.
We went on a Monday night for a birthday. We had a chowder and lobster ravioli as starters. The chowder was very good, and had obviously soaked up a lot of smoky flavor from pork belly/bacon that was used in it. The ravioli had a delightful creamy sauce on it, but it was didn't hold up well to following the soup. Wine list was nice. Entrees we had were the scallops and the filet. Scallops were cooked well, but oversalted. Filet was ordered med-rare, came out med-rare in a very nice red wine sauce. Overall, service was middling average and the experience was nice, but somewhat underwhelming for price.
We had a wonderful early dinner on our anniversary. Our wait staff was first class. The food was delicious. Look forward to a return to Cotton Row.
Didn't know what to expect as it was our 1st time in the area. The service was excellent, caring for our needs. The food was fantastic and prepared perfectly. Looking forward to our next visit to Huntsville!
We have been to CR multiple times. It has been a family favorite for years. However, I sensed the kitchen was understaffed this time. We arrived at 6, put our order in by 6:05 and we didn't get our food until 7:05. Though the company was great and the ambiance fabulous, we did not count on a 1 hr wait. We had to literally inhale our food in order to make it out on time for the Symphony. In the future we will allow more time for our dining experience at CR. However, 1 hr seemed a bit excessive of a wait for Salmon and Flounder; no liquor, no dessert, no salad.
We left the restaurant feeling hungry.
The best meal I have EVER had! I had the grilled romaine salad and scallops with spinach and gnocchi. I can't say enough about the ambiance outside, wait staff and chefs. I live in the D.C. area and have eaten at authentic restaurants all over the world. This was such a great way to taste Huntsville. Can't recommend this place enough!
We were seated immediately and had a lovely dining experience! Jared and the other staff are friendly, very competent, and clearly all work well together. We ordered a fried green tomatoes, oysters, seven wonders salad, the rib tips, the filet mignon, the veal chop, chocolate lava cake, the chocolate toffee crunch cake, and the artisanal PB&J reimagined dessert. It was a feast, and no one was sad about their life choices.
Table seating was a little close and we did not get bread until we had finished our meal, but the food was good and we enjoyed the evening.
We had brunch with our son and daughter-in-law. Everything was delicious.
Excellent service from Quin
The food was great, the service was very disappointing.
We have come often and have had better experiences in the past. I suspect that much depends on the server and the manager.
A friend had raves about how good the food and service was at Cotton Row. It was not our experience. We waited 10-15 min to get menus and drink orders. Waited nearly as long to get drinks. We place our orders and waited 15 for appetizers, not bad. When the main course arrived 30+ min later, 2 Steaks were so cold the herb butter didn’t melt. One was under cooked but eatable, good taste and warm. Other was not a prime cut, even thought that was the order and guest was not pleased with flavor. I guess we were the only guest that were disappointed everyone else seemed to be happy. There were only about 5 table seated but it was later in the evening.
Firing on all cylinders! Food was beautiful and tasty; service top-notch!
Really great food and a super good wine selection. My 6 out of town guests were very complimentary of the meal overall. As the host, I was thought our server was a bit slow, not keeping glasses full and slow with the check. Might have been lunch of the draw, though, normally this is not the case and Cotton Row is my choice for best in town.
Maybe this resturant just wasn't for us. Everyone was very nice and friendly but the amount of food we received for the price was not worth it and most of it tatsted frozen. It wasn't very flavorful though is had nice visual appeal. It's an "upscale resturant" in a previous bank building that resides in a part of town that is going through a renovation. Needless to say, my love and I left hungry and unsatisfied.
Best filet mignon my wife has ever eaten. Everything is on point. BUT pricey and worth it.
Amazing food and service
We found hair in our appetizers and all they said was “ that’s not good” we also only got one water refill. We keep getting dirty looks from the staff, I figured it was because we had tee shirt and jeans on so if you make the mistake of going here make sure you wear a tux other wise you don’t get recognized as a paying customer. Thank you for ruining our anniversary we will never go here again
My husband had the steak and I had the scallops. Both were delicious. The staff was great and the environment was cozy. We sat at the table closest to the kitchen, so I was expecting it to be noisy, but it wasn’t at all. We enjoyed being walking distance to a couple of museums and there were a lot of parking options. We were in town for a concert and the restaurant had a specialty drink just for the occasion, so that was a nice added touch to get us excited for the event.
I had a wonderful evening there recently with my wife and adult son. The service was very friendly and professional, and the food was outstanding. I had the veal chop special which was delicious (though surprisingly pricey even compared to the rest of the menu). The wine list selection is above average and the ambiance is attractive and pleasant. We will definitely be back!
Great dinner with excellent service. Logan our server was great and very accommodating with all of our needs. I highly recommend Cotton Row for a wonderful romantic dinner.
Excellent, as always.
My husband and I went to Cotton Row to celebrate our anniversary. The service was exceptional; the food was delicious; and the ambiance was nice (although space was limited). It was very expensive, but I think it was worth it. I'd definitely go back.
Impressive flavors in all the dishes (including dessert). Service was great.
The grouper special with lobster tartar was superb. Service was excellent.
Food was great!! service was great!! My only petty complaint is that we told them we were celebrating 2 birthdays when we made the reservation. Nothing was done for our birthdays nore where we asked if we were celebrating anything special. I was completely fine with this thinking Cotton Row must not really celebrate birthdays. As we were paying and abour ready to leaving, the table next to us, who were also celebrating a birthday, received complimentary champagne as they were looking at the menu. Not sure if they received dessert since we left. I was saddened by our family not getting the same treatment and it left a sad feeling about the experience.
