Cotton Calf Kitchen
Cream spinach,salmon,steak over cooked
Steak did not seem aged like stated. tough over cooked bland maybe kitchen just had an off night
Did not see value for prices charged 4 mule cocktail was bland
One of the steaks came out way under temp, after being sent back of course it was feted out and really not a premium steak. Service was ok, nothing spectacular. Drinks from the bar were not great. This was the second time eating here, first time was 5 star. Was really disappointed in the night out here.
Great food! I would recommend anyone to come eat here
Great Sunday brunch! Love the menu variety. Huge portions make sharing easy. Always excellent. Attentive service at Cotton Calf Kitchen; we’ll definitely be back!
Food was good but expensive. Service was not very attentive. One birthday in the party and a free dessert was promised and the Head Waiter told her he would give a free glass of wine to her, as well. We were charged for both.
Great atmosphere and our waiter was very knowledgable and did a great job with recommendation.
Our experience was great from beginning to end. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Best service we have ever received at a restaurant. Looking forward to going back!
Shrimp and grits are the best. Service always top notch
This was the second time I have been for Sunday brunch. Both times the food, service, everything have been great! Atmosphere is awesome!
Food was good but not great. My filet was thin. Mexican corn was terrible. Mashed potatoes were cold and the melted cheese on top was hard. We drove 20+ min from Suwanee and we were definitely unimpressed and way overcharged.
Our favorite steakhouse that we compare all others to!
Amazing food. Steaks and seafood was amazing.
The choices of sides were unbelievable.
It is a higher priced place but food is worth it.
Will definitely be back.
The food is always amazing and the service was great as usual.
My husband and I treated ourselves to an anniversary dinner. Matt was our server and was superb. Informative, tentative but not overly. Allowed us plenty of personal time while seeing to every need with great interaction. Food never disappoints and everyone very friendly and welcoming.
Excellent as always! Thoroughly enjoyed the Wagyu strip cooked perfect. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed the meal and evening.
We were a party of eight at 8:00 on New Year’s Eve. What a wonderful evening we were able to enjoy together. The food, service, and atmosphere were superb. Matt was our server, absolutely one of the best. All of our food was perfectly prepared and piping hot. My husband and I ordered Oysters Rockefeller, which were the best ever! The rolls and herb butter started our meal off in a great way. Almost all of us had either a glass of wine or a mixed drink. Everyone seemed pleased. My husband and I had been to Cotton Calf several times before, so we decided to try a non-beef entree. Undoubtedly, the way the sea bass was prepared was the best we have ever had!!! Two people ordered crab cakes and loved them...but ended up taking some home. The portion was generous! Others ordered a 16 ounce strip steak, a perfectly prepared nice thick steak. Another person ordered salmon and said it, too, was delicious. The sides were all excellent, difficult to choose a favorite. All in all, this was a wonderful evening, and our friends decided that they definitely wanted to return. Thank you, Matt, and Cotton Calf for such a memorable and fun evening.
We went for our first Anniversary & everything from the food, the service, the ambiance was GREAT. Joel & Derrick were both awesome!
Main dishes generous. Side dishes bursting with surprise and flavor. Wait staff intimate with dishes and preparation and it was obvious. Highly Recommended!!!
Always the best. Cocktails are amazing.
I love Cotton Calf for dinner but was a little underwhelmed with their lunch menu. While it tasted fine it was definitely not as interesting as the evening offerings. The service was great, the cocktails were tasty, so I will be back. For dinner.
too expensive for total package of food and atmosphere.
Our waitress Jen was awesome! Food and drinks were as always GREAT!!!
A Buckhead restaurant in downtown Braselton!
My wife and I came there for our anniversary. It was our first time there. They sat us in the middle of the floor next too the bathroom and the cash register which means a lot of “traffic” passing our table. I felt like we were center stage sitting at a table for 4 with just me and my wife. The place was so noisy I couldn’t even speak to my wife without leaning into her and speaking with a loud voice. So needless to say our nice dinner together to celebrate 27 years of marriage ended up with us both leaving with a headache. So couples looking for a nice somewhat romantic dinner, don’t choose this place!!!! Very disappointed especially that it was 142.00 for two of us!!!
The food and service was excellent. I will definitely be returning in the future.
We had a party of seven celebrating a graduation from the university earlier in the day. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. We made our reservations on Open Table several weeks in advance, which went flawlessly. In addition, we ordered a cake from a sister-operation bakery across the street from the CCK and that went perfectly as well. Our table was ready when we arrived and our waiter was Devin, who did an outstanding job of meeting all our needs. All courses ordered were prepared properly and all agreed the food was excellent. The steaks at this establishment are certainly on par with Morton’s, maybe better. The vegetable sides come in portion sizes large enough to share around the table (if they have the green beans available, do NOT pass on ordering those!). We will certainly return to the CCK on a regular basis whenever we want fine dining in a smart casual atmosphere. Kudos to the entire staff of Cotton Calf Kitchen!
Service & drinks were excellent. We had the 3 lbs lobster & it was rather tough.
Great ribeye steak and bacon wrapped scallops!
My husband and I had a wonderful time! Service was excellent!
Don’t miss out. If love a great steakhouse, then you’re going to love this one.
we have tried this place twice and left both times not overly impressed. Our most recent visit started with a very poor greeting at the hostess stand. No pleasantries at all- just told to sit and wait to be taken to a table right at 5....it was 4:45. Our server was very nice and pleasant so the evening went fine, but a negative experience at the door certainly can dampen expectations. The food was good, wine was good - I would recommend it if someone was in the area. However I wont drive 45 minutes to have dinner there again.
Had a wonderful time. This is a great neighborhood gem for special occasions and upscale cuisine. The wait staff was excellent - attentive without being intrusive. Food was amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.
Excellent food and service. It's a little pricy for being in the burbs, but well worth it.
My best friend went to lunch the day after Thanksgiving to celebrate my birthday! Ordered dessert, of course, and when the bill came, our waiter (Joel) had subtracted the cost of the dessert -- which was SUPER nice of him. Joel was a terrific waiter. The lobster bisque was delish, but could have been warmer.
And I would like more choices for non-alcohol drinkers: maybe TOST, or a non-alcoholic wine, or flavored seltzers. Some of just don't mix well with alcohol, but still want to enjoy a special beverage. :)
Excellent food and service. A bit pricey but worth it.
We went to CCK for an anniversary dinner and from the moment we entered we felt welcome and honored as guests. The food was the best we had ever had and our service was exceptional. It was decorated so nicely, minimalistic, but enough to make you appreciate everything you saw and experienced at your table. Our service was GREAT - very attentive - yet attentive to our privacy as well, such a great balance. It was pricey, but well worth every penny for special occasions.
Great wine and drinks. Generous portions. Enjoyed the steaks!
Too noisy! We would prefer softer dining music in the seating area & the louder, modern music at the bar. We had trouble hearing the server due to all the conversations going on plus the music. Okay we are old but don't have this problem in other restaurants.
The food was great! I thought it was chintzy to only serve 2 dinky rolls & no offer to refill the bread basket. Although the rolls were great!
Thanks for the free dessert for our anniversary...nice touch.
We will be back!
