Costas Inn Ratings and Reviews
I visited this restaurant for Baltimore Restaurant Week. This was my first visit. There was no lengthy wait time, we were seated right away (although we arrived before our reservation), and served immediately. The staff was friendly and polite and the restaurant was clean. I didn't have an opportunity to visit the bar area, but there is one available for those wondering. The food was great and the portion size was plentiful. I had crab cakes per my waiter's recommendation. I was very pleased. I also had cream of crab soup which was tasty as well. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be returning.
I went for my Birthday nothing big just me & my daughter. Location could be better lit & recognizable. But once inside its not much of a fancy place just wood table with chairs & ugly brown carpet guess suitable sense they let you throw your crab shells on the floor even tho a bucket is provided (easy clean up for them). Overall good did taste great & a easy to read menu. My service wasn't pressing as my waiter was to busy laughing with his co-workers instead of tending to my table. I will recommend this place but you don't have to be all dressed up to attend T-shirt sweats or jeans will work.
We were visiting Washington, DC from California and wanted some good seafood from Maryland .
Costas Inn provided us with excellent service ( Brooke/Brittany sorry unsure of her name ) and excellent steamed crab and crab cakes. Definitely will be back when I return for a business trip next month.
COSTAS Inn is our go to spot for great seafood and steamed carbs. No matter whether you order the nightly specialand we did, it's always a right choice. The food is well prepared, hot and fresh. The Monday night crabcake special and the Thursday night lobster special can't be beat for price and quality. We have been dining there for 15 years and it's as good as it was back then.
I took my girlfriend here for her first time. She's had steamed crabs elsewhere, but never from Costas Inn. I'd been here many times and raved about the place. By the time we were leaving, she asked me when we could come back for steamed crabs again.
Best crabs around!!
Went to Costas Inn for Restaurant Week and they did not disappoint . The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food selection for the Restaurant week menu was Great and the taste and quality of the food was OUTSTANDING! We happened to go on a night when they had Live Jazz music so it was a Win Win all around. Most definitely will be back again.
This was my second visit to Costas Inn. The first time was a couple years ago, with a group of friends. I remembered seeing trays of steamed crabs coming by, that were looking tasty. My friends all said we'd have to come back for the crabs. Crabs were my dinner along with mussels and a Greek salad. I enjoyed all of the food. I liked the seasoning on the crabs and the garlic butter sauce on the mussels. I'd recommend both.
Service was just ok. Our waitress was not really friendly and she was gone really available to us. We placed our food order and then she showed up 15 minutes later to tell one of us that they didn't have any more lobsters which was included on their Sunday Special menu. We waited about 40 minutes before our food was delivered and the overall quality of the food was good, but the portions were small.
if you want good crabs this is the place to go. look no farther. great service is the great beginning for a hallmark feast. you won't be disapointed. expect the biggest, heavyist spicey crabs to be delivered to your table. even if the place is geographicly undesireably you will still find it is worth the trip. what more can i say.
