First time there ! Everything was better than good, from the food and service to the ambiance. I would/will recommend.
Disappointed. Food was cold upon coming to table. Angel hair pasta was stuck together. Waiter had no personality at all, as to service. Veal piccata as to lemon and capers was cold as well. Just not good all around.
It was so nice to emerge from Covid hibernation and enjoy al fresco dining on a beautiful evening. The drinks were wonderful, the service was superb and the food was great. It was nice to have live music but it was too loud to be able to enjoy conversation at the table.
Excellent food, friendly service and beautiful atmosphere 💗💗💗
The place was packed and table of loud drunk women were behind us. Took a long time to get a drink. The food was "meh". Don't think I'll eat the leftovers. By the time our wine came we had finished eating. There are far better Italian restaurants on Federal Hill.
The bus boy said he was going to bring bread to the table, he never did. He spilled water on my wife and didn't even apologize.
It was cool out and the heaters were on but they moved all the heaters away from the customers because it was close to closing.
We dined at Costantino's for Mother's Day lunch; the staff was totally prepared for the inevitable crowd and did a great job. Food was delicious and came out at a good clip; our server was attentive and friendly. The noise from the street is unavoidable, unfortunately (unless the city decided to, say, ban motorcycles from passing through during dining hours but that's hard to imagine) - but if you go in knowing that's a factor, it's easy enough to let it go. It was a good experience overall!
Service was terrible. We felt rushed even-though there were not busy at all. Upstairs restrooms we gross.
Food was good though…..
Costantino’s is always our go-to place. The service is great; Katie was our server and didn’t disappoint. She had a great sense of humor and recommended the best wine. She didn’t rush us at all and we were able to relax outside and enjoy the great weather.
We had an amazing dinner at Costantino’s celebrating our daughter’s college graduation. Fantastic food and service! Thanks so much!
Great experience. Quality food, service was outstanding.
Great food and great service outside in the Square! Eggplant appetizer was exceptional!
A nice choice on a Spring evening. We chose to dine indoors and the start of th evening was a little off, but they quickly recovered. We all have to be patient with service as the restaurant industry get's back on its feet. Entrees were perfect , wine list acceptable. Give them a try!
Literally the worst service I’ve EVER had. We were completely ignored, items forgotten, I even asked the server to come back in two minutes for our dessert order... she never did. After 10 minutes we finally flagged her down and asked for the bill. I think you guys have great food and such a great space to dine outside but after our experience today I doubt we will be back.
I think they are understaffed and seem to have more seating than the restaurant can handle. I was seated on the sidewalk directly next to the valet station so there was always a crowd of people practically right at my table. Drinks took 40 mins to receive. Food took an hour and a half and when we received it it was warm, not hot. Definitely wouldn’t return.
We booked a 6:15 pm reservation for a birthday celebration We had an outdoor reservation. It was around 60 degrees but we figured they would have heaters throughout the area. We were not seated until close to 6:30 PM and did not have a waiter greet us until 6:45 PM. It was very cold and the hostess if she could turn the heaters on but she told us to ask our waiter (which we heard her tell several parties as the night went on).Our waiter told us that most of the heaters were broken in a windstorm several nights earlier. He took our drink order and said he would return soon with bread and our drinks but we didn’t get bread until after 7 PM or drinks until close to 7:15 PM. We ordered one app which came relatively quickly after we ordered but did not receive our dinner until about 8:45 PM. It was freezing cold , service was extra slow and no one, other than our server, ever addressed our concerns. Will not return again. VERY disappointed.
2nd time at this restaurant. Both times long waits for food & drinks.
The service was excellent!
Food was cold and wasn't very tasty. Outdoor seating is fabulous with a beautiful fountain and plenty of space for Covid outdoor dining.
Had a nice lunch here. The homemade pasta is the way to go. Salad was fresh. Professional server. Can’t wait to go back and sit outside!
the food was amazing, authentic Italian. the outdoor seating is charming. the server was nice but they are definitely shorthanded.
I wanted to love it. Location is great and lots of outdoor seating and super cute area, but food service was spotty. One meal came and the next about 10 min later. Server was nice; seems to be a kitchen issue they should fix. Also he helped with heaters when it got colder. Street noise in the area is unfortunate with bikes drifting etc.
We live in the neighborhood and this place has been on our list for some time. After bringing some friends for a double date, my only complaint is that we didn’t have dinner/drinks here sooner! Everything was excellent. We had apps, entrees and tried some cocktails. We can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
Food is always spectacular. Have eaten here twice in past two weeks. Always better when weather permits to eat outdoors.
two outdoor heaters were out and apparently, there weren't any replacement propane tanks; we were served red wine and a martini in a cognac glass; service was very slow; they served us bread oil in an upside down coffee saucer.
Overall not a pleasant experience. I will not recommend to others at this time.
Love it time after time
Amazing from start to finish.
Food is always impeccable- great service, amazing outdoor dining in beautiful weather!
Outdoor seating at Constantino's Venda Bar & Ristorante is a wonderful city experience and makes one feel you are transported to Italy. Service was great, street noise was moderate, and during these Covid times, all safety protocols were followed. Great calamari appetizer was shared and was excellent. The veal marsala and eggplant rolatini were okay but not as special as the calamari.
We had a party of 4. 1st entree came out. 2 pizzas arrived 10 minutes later and 1 pizza 5 minutes after that. Person served first ate before all others were served. Otherwise the food was good. Servers not too personable.
Waitress was very busy so some questions and follow up was a bit slow
Good food. The calamari is always great. Outside seating is great and with heaters.
As usual the food and service was outstanding. Our one issue was we reserved an outside table because the weather was nice on Saturday. When I made the reservation we were told they had patio heaters because as the sun goes down it get cooler out. When we needed the heater most of the heaters did not has propane and did not work. It became too cold out to finish our dinner and had to take it home. They should have spare propane bottles if they are going to offer outside dinning.
It was awesome as always. The only issue was that it was a bit chilly out and most of the gas tanks were empty for the heaters. The waiter worked with us and two other tables around us to check quite a few tanks out for all of us, but no luck. They were all empty. We will wait til the warmer weather to come back.
We were happy to sit outside and eat supper on a warm march day.
The food was good.
The tables are chipped and many of the outdoor heating units were out of propane.
the entire square where the tables were set up looked run down. Overhead lights were not turned on. Competing music from different restaurants created chaotic and loud ambience.
There was litter flying around outside by the tables - no efforts made to pick anything up that we saw.
The service was surprisingly disorganized and disinterested and slow.
Even the hostess in front of the restaurant was not visible - busy chatting with her friends in the street. We had to circle twice throughout the plaza to locate where to check in.
These inconveniences above would be not as annoying during nice weather, if the fountain and overhead lights were on, etc. but none of that was true.
Venda Ravioli is a famous place and they don't seem to care much about the ambience for their diners...at least that was the feeling we go. Will not be going back any time soon.
I requested a custom dish, and it was made to perfection! Thank you!
Always a great experience at Venda!!!!!
The tic tok girls at the fountain get a lowly 1 star. Lose some wait fatties.
