Costa di Mare - Wynn Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
This is a great restraunt with wonderful seafood options. The pastas are not as great as I️ thought they would be. The prices are outrageous for the amount and quality of food provided. The fact that so much bread is served to get you full at the beginning of the meal does not allow one to enjoy the dinner or desserts.
It was great! All the staff amazing and the food terrific!! It was an engagement surprise and at the reception noticed the note I left at the app and give us a special table, at the end they give us desserts and a couple of sweet wine to celebrate. Definitely I’ll come back in my next visit to Vegas. Congratulations to the restaurant
We were very impressed with the food at Costa do Mare. Everything was delicious and well prepared. However the service was rather inattentive and we had to ask for a menu, water and bread. If Service was equivalent to the food, this would be an amazing restaurant
Quaint high quality atmosphere with unique dining experience. The fish is shipped inn daily from the Mediterranean. Courteous and knowledgeable wait staff explained the different options we could choose. Small family type tastings that you can choose from. I would highly recommend the ravioli with sheep's milk ricotta and high quality cheese; very rich but delicious. Over all criticism, staff works in team type environment; trios; provides less than personalized experience, however were able to pull off a very special anniversary desert.
The meal was fine, but expensive. One item in particular stands out, a shrimp for $30. I asked the waiter about it, but did not order it. He thought I did and it arrived at the table. Instead of being a jerk and sending it back, I ate it. Three bites, $30 and believe me, it was nothing special.
Came to Costa di Mare with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. Everything about our dining experience was absolutely phenomenal!!! The service staff were all very friendly and very knowledgeable in answering any questions about the menu. We were seated right away per our reservation on a very busy weekend night. Our dinners were prepared and plated perfectly. Everything was delicious! We had dinner at four other top notch restaurants during our time in Las Vegas and Costa di Mare was by far the best of the bunch! Would recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.
The James Beard Tasting Menu is a must try. If you do not like tasting menus, the fish selection is flown in every 36 hours from Italy, very unique types of fish that is a must try
Ate outside around the water, but know that there is a minimum per person, which is easy to do.
I can’t believe their seafoods are import from Italy. They were well kept, & fresh when served on the table. The waiters were very virtuous, and very helpful by introduced us their menu & their foods for the day. We chosen the tasting menu. They were range in supreme. Because we were there to celebrate a birthday. The Restaurant surprised us in the end with a surprise. See picture.
My sister and I were celebrating our birthdays. We had exceptional service, i.e. dinner suggestions, wine choice. We were given a birthday card and complimentary desert. The only reason I am removing one star, was because I found the entree was too much food. Otherwise it was exceptional - the Pollo. The seafood pasta appetizer was the best I've ever had, and the wine, while pricey was worth it. Finally, I can't say enough about the outdoor ambience of this place - we had a private table adjacent to dining cabanas, overlooking their magnificent ponds filled with fish and beautiful silver globes. Above, we were surrounded by trees, with glimpses of a beautiful October night, and ambient lighting. The frenetic experience of the strip is far away from Costi di Mare. Thank you Wynn!
Wyn is definitely spot on with customer service and the dining experience was impeccable! We celebrated our wedding anniversary and it felt like everyone throughout the restaurant greated us and congratulated us as well. We were able to have seating outside in a cabana which consisted of a gorgeous view of the pond and very cozy atmosphere. I selected this restaurant for their vegan options (for my husband) and I love seafood. I ordered the scallops for appetizer --superb! And the seafood risotto for entre. We were even give a vegan dessert which was delicious! Wonderful experience and very memorable night.
We had a fabulous meal here and it's a beautiful setting as well! Our service was lovely too. We had Mediterranean flown in spiny lobster with a delicious olive oil and lemon sauce with potatoes as well as the AMAZING gnocchi with mushrooms! Both dishes exceeded many similar dishes we have had in Italy and Greece-we were very very impressed!
Over the 6 course meal plus wine pairing was not what I expected for the price. The first dish was uni and that was fresh and tasty. Second dish were 4 different styles of raw fish which 2/4 weren't mushy and not fresh tasting. Third dish with the shrimp was delightful and filling. Fourth was the octopus which had a burnt flavor to this they replaced it with a scallop that was very delicious and perfectly cooked. The fish dish with the ricotta was ok we could have done with out it and of course the dessert was to die for with fresh fruit and a dairy free chocolate sorbet. They did note that I had a few allergies to gluten and dairy and they made sure I was still able to enjoy my meal.
Started with a glass of sparkling wine that was flat. They should have opened a fresh bottle. The appetizer of scallops was very good - cook perfectly. The lobster was good. Ravioli's marginal. There was nothing special about the side dish of vegetables. So all in all for a $400+ dinner it was a disappointment and i would not recommend it.
The last time we were at the Wynn we dined at the SW Steakhouse and it was exceptional. We will go there next time.
I was ridiculously happy that I ended my Las Vegas trip in a classy, fun, beautiful restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable service and healthily delicious meal: the breads, brodetto, parpadelle, the purple snapper and the 2010 Barolo. Heavenly experience.
The night of September 23rd, 2017, will never be forgotten. That is when I proposed to my girlfriend. I had a perfect setting and they made the experience amazing! I prepared floral arrangements and a special message on a dessert plate. The cabana and it's beautiful scenery made it feel extremely romantic! The food and service was great! I recommend for anyone to eat here! Thank you for the best memories!
Really disappoint - and hugely expensive. The restaurant is physically appealing, in the Las Vegas mega-sized mode. We were late being seated (always a turn off), and the waiter launched into a long and involved spiel extolling the virtues of their fish fare) and then disappeared without leaving menus or the wine list (we had ordered a glass of wine at the bar, which was brought to the table). We finally tracked down menus and the wine list and ordered. The langostinos were delivered dry, and were not particularly tasty (after a long speech about being one of only 12 restaurants in the world to have this particular type), followed by sea bream baked in salt, delivered over cooked. The wine list is impressive but unbelievably overpriced, even by Las Vegas standards. Service was spotty - either too much, or too little, and overall, this was a big disappointment.
