   Everything was so wonderful. Our server Christina was lovely and made excellent recommendations. Martin was very helpful with our wine selection. The dishes were outstanding! We ordered the petite filet and the lamb mixed grill - cooked to perfection. We will definitely make this a regular date night spot!

   Definitely would not recommend dining here. A $70 filet with no flavor and $50 paella that has hardly any seafood. For a $250 meal, including drinks and tip, I expect more. No wonder there was only 2 other tables being served at 645 on a Saturday evening.

   It is a lovely restaurant, but for the quality of food and its location, it is rather pricy. Still it is a great restaurant for a dinner before a concert, and you can split the hunter’s board (which is delicious) to save $$$$.

   Staying one night in the Casa Monica hotel traveling back from south Florida. It was convenient to eat at this restaurant. We went for the Tapas, disappointingly they didn’t have the Hunt Board Charcuterie. Meatballs were very tasty and the Calamari was also pretty good. Our server Karen was very pleasant. We also had breakfast there this morning. Considering the class and being part of the Kessler Collection, there were a few things that need to be bought up to standard. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the food. Very convenient for visiting St. Augustine.

   Limited menu served in a beautiful dining room. Menu is expensive and the service was extremely poor. Our dinner was probably twice as long as it needed to be because our server couldn’t be found. The server’s attitude was also disappointing in that it conveyed the sense that she’d rather be anywhere else. The person who brought our drinks was the best service we received. Overall a disappointing experience.

    Great tapas! Unfortunately, They had only one Spanish Red. Wait staff weren’t able to tell us why. Otherwise excellent!

    An experience dinner was advertised. When we arrived, our waiter knew nothing about the experience dinner. A manager from the hotel came over and showed us the menu choice options. The choices were good however, picking from three items per course does not equate to an experience. They did have a piano player that was quite good, and that was nice. But nothing personal to make it an experience and honestly you can get as good of food in many places, and with a better experience than was delivered.

    For the price and place the food was not good! It was tasteless and not like any fine dining restaurant. Worst restaurant we tried in St. Agustine. I do not recommended it, only if you want to waste your money.

    Everything was great. Prices were high. Bread was 6.99 a basket. Some things should be included with meal like the bread. The lemon chello Cake was the best, but 12.99 a slice was to high priced. We will come back on special occasions. Ron

    Very loud. Restaurant is attached directly to the bar and noise from the bar overwhelmed the restaurant. Half of my entree was hot and the rest was barely warm. Service was way below expectations

    Service: Excellent. The young lady who waited on us was very professional and personable. Food: prepared well and presented beautifully. I had the seared duck, and it left some to be desired as far as flavor. I was expecting the liquid in the plate to be a pan sauce, but it was just juices from the meat. Ambiance: It's a fine dining restaurant in one of the nicest hotels in the city; the ambiance follows along with that. While the pianist in the bar was a little distracting and the noise level was a little higher than I would have liked in the dining area, it wasn't terrible. Value: This is where they lost me. Not outrageously overpriced, but they're definitely outkicking their coverage in my opinion. I would definitely try the other upscale venues in the city before returning. Also, I ordered their specialty old fashioned at the bar. $17. A single drop of bitters and a gigantic squeeze of maple syrup that sat at the bottom of the glass, completely unincorporated before I very carefully mixed my own drink. The drink went from tasting like nothing but bourbon to tasting like nothing but maple syrup. Pretty disappointing. The manager however seemed to be putting much more care and attention into his drinks. He seemed to be crafting the drinks for the tables, and those were much more enjoyable after we were sat.

    We came here for my birthday. Stayed at the hotel. Our reservation was for 7, but we were able to get in early. Food was delicious! My fiancé and I shared the shrimp appetizer- so good. I had tile fish was was prepared with risotto, mild but flavorful. My fiancé had the filet- perfectly cooked. Karen waited on us, she was wonderful!! Highly recommend!

    Disappointing at best. It was difficult getting a reservation at the time we wanted and when we showed up the restaurant was practically empty. There were kids running around like it was a fast food restaurant. The food was fair but not worth the price they charge.

    Martin served us as he has for years. He guided us with the menu and the reduced wine list (what happened?). Ambiance was elegant (few patrons this night); valet parking makes for an easy approach and exit. Try the Wellington made with gourmet mushrooms; wonderful. The market fish was great as was the decadent banana flambé bread dessert. We will return!

    The service was excellent, second to none, the food was wonderful but the portion was not worth the price, my desert was larger than the steak that I had ordered and even the desert was lacking as I had ordered "banana foster"and only received a quarter of a banana with a very small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of a huge slice of bread pudding. We won't return there in the future.

    Came for our anniversary, the place felt very stuffy. Menu had potential and sounded so great. All prices were so high. Way more the the food was worth. Came for wedding anniversary made. Note in reservation and nothing was said at all while we were there. Service was good though, I give them that.

    Went to Costa Brava on a Saturday night before Christmas for a special dinner during Nights of Lights. We were 4 adults and 2 children and we spent $350+. Upon arrival to the hotel we were told by the Marriott Hotel that we could not Valet park and we were left to fend for ourselves to find parking out in the cold. Upon seating we were told the restaurant could not provide a side dish of pasta or rice. We ordered the House Special Paella which was over cooked and was not a very good Paella. For $98 we were very disappointed. Overall it was a miserable experience, and I would not recommend eating at Costa Brava. The restaurant used to be very good, as we have gone there every year for the last ten years for special occasions and to enjoy Nights of Lights. However, this year will be the last year, as Costa Brava is permanently removed from our go to list for a nice enjoyable dinner in St Augustine.

    Relaxed experience. No pressure to order.Able to take our time and have a glass of wine before deciding on appetizers. Marcona almonds delicious. Waygu meatballs wonderful. Paella is massive only needed one order not the double.

    We were there last night December 23 and we hadn’t been back at the Cassa Monica hotel since we had a wedding reception there in 2015. The food was excellent and all the guests loved it. Last night I had the special which was the red snapper and my husband had the prime fillet We loved it BUT Very very small portions, and extremely high prices!!! However it was quiet, comfortable, service was outstanding had a great waitress also has a very limited menu. Has a lot of Spanish flavorings and seasonings however they will eliminate some stuff and substitute something else if you don’t want anything spicy.

    We were sat in the bar area where it was naturally very noisy. The piano player was amazing. The food was okay. My wife got the duck and I got a filet. Both were just okay. I would have expected much better quality at this price point.
