   Service is excellent. Some of the food was too spicy for me so look at the ingredients before ordering. The wedge salad had a very spicy ranch dressing but they took it off my check since I only ate half of it. The jamon croquettes were the best and drinks were very good.

   No breakfast options were available. Meal was overpriced. The bar drain traps need to be cleaned and sanitized. The smell carried through the hotel lobby and dining areas.

   I made reservations for my family of three to enjoy Mother's day. Sadly, I was called away to serve my country for a few days. I assured my family that this would be a great experience due to the rave reviews I read. Sadly, I was mistaken. My wife and daughter, were greeted and told the party size was changed two. At which point they were directed to the bar area away from the mother's day area and the buffet and pretty much forgotten about after told where the buffet was. The restaurant was not busy yet they were infrequently checked on. I will NOT recommend this restaurant especially after how they treated my spouse who has served with me for over 20 years who just wanted to feel special on Mother's day.

   Very disappointed in the Mother’s Day brunch. Uninspired and meager offerings, poor ambiance and no attempt whatsoever to dress up the buffet as in previous years. Couple this with $95 price tag, it was an epic fail. The fact that it was tagged with “A stroke of genius” as if a buffet needs a name, was laughable. I have treated a table of 14 people in a private room a few years ago and also to Mothers Day buffet five years ago - both excellent. This year was a let down. I won’t be back.

   Their Mother's Day brunch was nothing special and cost $35 pp. Just basic breakfast offerings. Will try again to see what the regular menu is like. Nice atmosphere and good service. Valet parking a plus downtown.

   The food was really good, the dessert was awesome and the service was OUTSTANDING! A little pricey but we are St Augustine locals and understand what we are getting into. My biggest gripe, if I had one, would be the overall noise level. The pianist, who is very good wanted to be the star of the show to an obnoxious level. Soften him up a tad and we are in business. The manager visited twice in 1.5 hours and was a continuous presence in the dining area. He really showed he cares and it was displayed in the overall presentation of the restaurant. We will absolutely be back! DC

    Place is nice, clean and has professional setting. Server could be rated 2 starts at most. Lunch food selection is poor. Mostly salad options but their salads taste terrible. Will not recommend this place to a friend.

    This is an historic venue in luxurious surroundings. Staff are always professional and efficient…..predominately tourist traffic but some locals (like us) prefer the quiet ambiance and avoid this bustling towns frantic dinner scene….the menu is appropriately focused and quite small but every dish is beautifully executed……it’s a solid approach that we prefer……..good wine list, reasonable prices, and extremely convenient valet parking….St Augustine’s down town is difficult with that regard so that is a seriously good benefit.. Vincent (Vinny) who manages the operation is excellent and takes his position extremely seriously……they are a proud team and deservedly so…… I would thank them all for offering a special place to visit in one of the most stunning locations in all of the the Unites States… John E.     What a beautiful establishment and atmosphere!! I had the best server, Christina, and the meal was superb! Everything was delightful, from start to finish. I’m visiting from out of town, and was so pleased with my experience here. All that was missing was a hot date! lol!! Maybe next time. 😉

    Great service from manager and personnel. They are willing to accomodate all of your needs. Good ambiance. If you are not a fan of spanish food stay with apetizers (Tapas) and drinks. They worth it, particularly the Patatas Bravas and the Octopus with Pork Belly.

    Will not go back. Menu has changed. When we asked our server what would vegetarians eat he said “just read the menu”! They had no vegetarian dishes with any protein in them and the server said the chef cannot make you anything since we have no rice and no pasta. Then after we got our drinks our server disappeared for over 30 minutes and we had to flag down another server just to place our order. The food was not that good, the server and the attitude were horrible and totally not worth the price. Definitely do not order the honeycomb cheesecake it tasted like it was spoiled!

    This was a terrible experience. Told the a manager for $95 a head they should be embarrassed by not only the quality of food offered but also the presentation of what was listed as Easter Brunch. Will not recommend not will we go back.

    We went for the Easter buffet at 3 pm. The waitstaff was awesome! Connor took care of us very well. I have allergies and the staff at the buffet was very responsive to my questions. I had a lot to choose from even though I am Celiac and a vegetarian. I don't think it is worth the $95 per person for me because I don't eat any of the meat or seafood, but everything was delicious! We love the Peter Cottontail cocktail too!

    The Easter buffet was absolutely wonderful! Our family enjoyed the private room. The ambiance was lovely and the food was outstanding! The dessert room had fun activities for the kids and that was a plus! Not to mention pictures with the Easter bunny. We will surely make this a yearly tradition.

    This was sadly one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in quite some time. We were one of 4 tables in the entire restaurant. Took 35 minutes after seated to get a waiter and pour a glass of wine (which we brought). The waiter was very disinterested in discussing the menu and when asked about certain dishes basically said “it’s very good” without really describing anything. Orders weren’t taken for over an hour. We were seated at 6:30 and it was 8pm before food arrived. By this time we were 1 of 2 tables in the entire restaurant. There was a true lack of care from the waiter and he seemed totally unconcerned that we had to call for him from from across the room more than once to request food/drinks. We have taken out of town guests here numerous times and took my parents this past Thanksgiving and always enjoyed it. After this last experience, we will not be back as it was practically an embarrassment to take special friends visiting to such a disappointing evening out. The only positive was when the food finally was ordered and arrived, it was hot and very good.

    A real disappointment. Nice menu, a mixture of starters, tapas, paella and other Spanish dishes. Restaurant part of a boutique hotel. Great location. The cocktails were superb, btw. Food: Not so much. One starter, potatoes with datil pepper sauce, was good. The other was not--sauteed mushrooms that lacked garlic and seasoning. More importantly, the paella for two that we ordered was tasteless and the seafood seriously dried out and chewy. We sent it back and to the credit of the establishment the manager came out and offered us something else from the menu. We had a couple of tapas they were both good. Overall, the service from both our waitress and the manager was excellent and we appreciate the fact they allowed us to sub out the paella. At the price point of the restaurant, however, they need to step up their game.

    A very small menu which did not give the flavor of Spain. We were hoping for lots of tapas options but the menu was comprised of 10 total items most of which were salads and sandwiches. Being in a AAA for diamond resort, I would’ve thought better. The server, Karen was terrific and accommodating. I will say she bragged about the sangria and it was fair at best. Look forward to staying at the hotel but probably would pass on the restaurant.

    We had a lovely evening at Costa Brava. The restaurant is charming and the waitstaff was exceptional. My wife had lived in Spain for several years and she was disappointed with the chef's interpretations of traditional dishes. The pan Con Tomate was much more like cheese pizza than what is served throughout Barcelona and the House Paella did not use traditional saffron rice. Overall, the Paella tasted quite good and everything else made for a wonderful evening.

    Very good selection of tapas and appetizers that can be shared as tapas too. Fish of the day was excellent Red Snapper. Three of us ordered it and everyone felt it was delicious.

    Really good food. The prawns were delicious but a small portion (2). Wedge salad also delicious and hearty, lots of blue cheese and bacon on what I would describe as a small head of lettice. Paella was wonderful, spicy and a generous portion. Unfortunately, I had no room for dessert! Genteel service and a piano player in the bar. Very well enjoyed my experience.
