Costa Brava Bistro
Open Table's 2016 list - "100 Best Restaurants for Foodies in America"
We love your restaurant, food was delicious, could have been hotter, but delicious.
Very authentic Spanish food. Knowledgeable, attentive staff
Great food and excellent service. Everything on the menu is a great choice.
The food flavor was excellent but the salad and trout portions were far too skimpy and no bread served or offered.....left the lunch hungry.
First visit to new location. Food and service are excellent as before. New location is a great update vs older location. Always a pleasure to dine at Costa Brava
Delicious food and charming ambience
Our first time as we are visiting Houston. Will definitely go back when we are in town. Quick, attentive service and food was great!
Excellent food, service and ambience. We went there for a girls luncheon and most of us got the three course luncheon. Gazpacho, risotto with scallops and shrimp and dessert. All excellent! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Great Renovation! Wonderful experience!
Costa Brava has been on my “must visit” list for quite a while. My regret is waiting so long. The inviting dining room; impeccable, yet unobtrusive waitstaff; and of course, the outstanding food. What a pleasant surprise! I cannot wait to return...
Fabulous in every way. The Caesar salad was the real thing. Red snapper was exceptional. Manager was very hospitable and grateful we were there - most welcoming. Expensive but worth it!
New location is elegant. Ambiance, menu, food, wine and service levels remain excellent. Most enjoyable experience.
This place is a gem!
New location down the block from the original is amazingly even more warm, cozy and wonderful than before. Food and service were excellent as always. We had trout and snapper after jumbo shrimp with garlic. The chef is always supervising in the dining room, happy to answer questions so you know everything is to perfection.
Older crowd; food was good
We went on a weekday so it was quite! They moved from original place which was smaller and loud, this one has more space so not sure about noise level when full! Food was good and desserts even better!
The entire eating experience brings you back to the great food of Spain. The food paired well with the house wines they have from Rioja and Ribera del Duero. MUY BUENO.
Excellent prix fix menu. In strip mall, but surprising dark and quiet inside. Has a dress code, so be sure to dress accordingly.
Portions were on the small side for Houston at the price point. One diner in the party ordered a second entree in order to be full. Rabbit leg was tough and bland.
As always it was spectacular!!! Amazing and delicious fine cuisine!
One of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious, we love the ambiance and the staff is always welcoming and friendly.
The food is excellent, super tasty, great quality although on the expensive side. CBB changes their menu for the season and they had rabbit paella as a special which was Excellent!!!! If you go to a restaurant and they cook their rabbit well, without overcooking it, you know you are in the hands of a talented chef and kitchen staff! We also love that you never feel rushed when you are eating here. Your waiter won't put in your dinner order until he/she sees you are done with your appetizer. It's quiet: there is no loud music playing to rush you along. It is just a lovely experience to dine here. We will return again....
Made a same-night reservation for a reasonable time slot for two people. Nice place to go for a date. It is an older crowd. Food was outstanding (ordered two different fish dinners). No hard sell on salad or appetizer. Tempranillo was excellent.
Fantastic on every level!!
Our dinner was very disappointing. I had been here before and enjoyed the restaurant. Sorry I chose it this time. Two in our party ordered the paella which was very bland and under seasoned. One of our guests had asked for the mussels to be removed, which were not. They should have sent the dishes back, but hesitated as not wanting to ruin the dining experience for the others. Wine was good. Kind of stingy to have to ask for water.
Overall a regrettable visit. Much better restaurants for the price.
Food was delicious, service great
Perfect service paired with great food
Service Great !!
The place looks really nice and can’t wait to return.
The Bar is very appealing.
Love this place! Quiet, elegant dinner dining. Delicious food!
Excellent menu. Wine list is expensive comparing with similar restaurants
Supposed they made a restaurant where every meal you eat is made to perfection. That is Costa Brava.
We have never had a bad meal there. The only thing better than the service is the food. From the Gazpacho that I could bathe in to the Jumbo Shrimp Appetizer with garlic, to the best lamb chops in the city.
Allison Cook got it right when she consistently named this Restaurant one of Houston's 100 best.
Great food, lovely atmosphere, attentive service. A perfect place for a special occasion or dinner with friends.
Everything was perfect, as it is every time we dine there. Try to take friends who have never been, and always get a big WOW! Great restaurant.
It always feels like a special occasion when we eat there but this time it really was and the owners went above and beyond!
Birthday dinner was great. The food was delicious and the blueberry cake dessert was amazing. Service was excellent.
Already booked a return visit to this neighborhood-style low-light bistro. Food was great, prices fair for French cooking, service excellent, and noise level lower than most restaurants. I had the steak and will order it again next visit to find out it was cooked.. French Wines were very reasonably priced.
Elegant, cozy place with excellent service and food. You could tell most of the customers had been there multiple times as the owner would greet them with familiarity. Most of the customers interestingly were seniors. Food was quick and excellent. Portions were good.
