Excellent brunch for Easter Sunday. The quality and variety of selection was outstanding. Worth the price!
Wish there were some healthy options on menu
Big birthday followed by 2CELLOS concert. First time at Cosmos, originally chosen because of it’s good ratings, close proximity to Target Center. However, it turned out to be a fabulous choice for Cosmos independent of the concert venue. The four of us really enjoyed the food and the service, the warm ambiance was an enhancement. Looking forward to a return visit.
Dined here for the collaboration with the Herbivorous Butcher. Food was outstanding. Will definitely be back.
Awesome food, great presentation, wonderful service. Sad to see we were only 1 of 3 tables on a Friday night at 7pm.
We went there for the Xmas buffet on Dec 25. I was rather late looking for a Xmas day restaurant so there weren't many options left. My husband prefers buffets for the options. So we picked Cosmos. Yes it was a buffet with some more upscale options like shrimp and cab legs ( small) but otherwise rather limited. They obviously chose to put out out just enough for the number of reservations they had for that seating. I was rather slow so there wasb't much left of some items and I noticed items were not replenished. The mini desserts were quite good bu quickly got picked over so there wasn't much left. Oerall too pricey for $65/per for what was there.
Horrible service. Overpriced . The waitress never came back to check on us. Told us twice she was getting our bread but she never did. Very disappointed
The staff was welcoming and friendly
The food was very pedestrian
There was a consistent shortage of turkey - which is troublesome on Thanksgiving
Beautiful facility- perhaps the buffet format is not a forte
The food was delicious and an enticing buffet for Thanksgiving. A tasty assortment of food. Service was okay. The value for the meal was very good. It was quiet so we could have a nice family conversation. The best part of the meal was table spacing. We weren't crowded and bumpy chairs with the next table.
Had a nice dinner before attending an event at Target Center. The validated parking was a very nice bonus.
We had a great experience. The food was exceptional.
My boyfriend and I went for his 29th birthday, and the restaurant was completely dead. No one was at the host stand, just 3-4 people were sitting at the bar. I finally walked around and the bartender stopped me, and I said I had a reservation. Thankfully there was one other table of 6 girls on a bachelorette party so we weren't the only ones, but the ambiance wasn't what I was expecting.
Thankfully, the delectable food and impeccable service made up for the lacking milieu. We also got to try two appetizers that weren't on the menu for free! Despite the odd beginning, we truly enjoyed our time, got to talk to the chef, had delicious drinks, and will be back. They apparently have some mushroom dinner that you purchase tickets for, and I'd love to go to that.
Dinner before attending Eagles & Jimmy Buffett Concert. Beautiful day.
Cosmos restaurant at The Loews Hotel and Resorts Minneapolis is accommodating. Whether you choose multi course tasting menu paired with wines ala carte or a vegetarian with dietary needs Cosmos will step up to the challenge. Ask for the Chef's Table and Executive Chef Tim Fischer will serve you the ultimate dinning experience at Cosmos.
Not the best selection of food choices. Just your average hamburger and wings
This was very disappointing! We were guests of the Loew's, celebrating a birthday and anniversary. We arrived at our reservation time only to discover that the restaurant was closed for the night. The host yammered on about nonsense before I finally asked her to just spit it out, were we going to dine with you or not?! We were unable to locate another establishment that would take us on such short notice-I will NOT return. Horrible customer service! Why wouldn't you have bothered to call your guests to alert them, then all of the headache could have been avoided!!!
The manager did his best to makeup for any short-comings, but it was truly one of the worst dining experiences. They were out of multiple items offered on the menu, our drinks took a ridiculously long time, and my husband sent food back to the kitchen for the first time EVER. Our plates clearly sat under heat lamps for enough time to cook MR steak to a brick and the demi glaze into a glue. Could be a really cool place to eat but we won’t be back again to give it another run.
My friends and I dined at Loews for the Easter Brunch. The Brunch was amazing! There were many options for food. The brunch price included mimosas which was awesome! I would definitely go again
We loved it! Was delicious , pretty and relaxing for Easter!
Very friendly and helpful staff. It was very quiet, so we received some chef specials from the kitchen to taste - that was a fun surprise. Really enjoyed the food.
Fantastic food! My only complaint is that the waiter had literally no clue what was on the menu which was odd- every time I asked him about a meal he picked up my menu and read off of it.
I absolutely love this restaurant. My wife and I checked it out for Valentine's Day a couple years back and it was the best meal I've ever eaten. In fact, I was a little wary that when we came back, it wouldn't live up to our memories - but it did. Every aspect of the meal was fantastic.
Everything I ate was wonderful. It's been along time that I've eaten out and can say "I really enjoyed my meal".
Delicious meal, attentive service and enjoyable ambiance
Valentine dinner was a gross disappointment. Mixed up service; no delivery of the wine pairings with each course; Overly salty food; Inattentive service. 3 successive errors on the final bill. THis restaurant is way past mediocre and should be avoided until new management or some major change is completed and proven.
What a waste of $$.
Great pre-game meal before Timberwoles game across the street.
Chef Tim put together a fantastic tasting menu and served it to us in our room!
The service was unfriendly and incredibly slow. It took 30 minutes before the waitress came for our drink orders and for some reason we were only given food menus. This caused another 15 minute ordering delay.
They bought out the salads and there was a 20 minute delay before the soup was brought out. We finally tracked down the waitress who told us "it is coming". When you are paying $28 for an entree and another $10 for soup or salad, you should not be told to be patient!
Why is it that there only seems to be a wait when the dining room is mostly empty? The only people I would recommend Cosmos to are people desperate for a last minute reservation and then sit at the bar and eat an appetizer. The food was tiny and mediocre - but much better than the service.
Bad food and uninspired service, wasted money. The only good thing is proximity to Target center on a freezing day.
My family went here for brunch for my mother's birthday. The buffet had good food but the service was eh. In my opinion not worth the money we spent.
I had dinner there on one occasion and breakfast buffet on another. The ambiance, decor and service are outstanding. The dinner menu was innovative and prepared well. The breakfast buffet was underwhelming, limited, and overpriced. Imagine a breakfast buffet without scrambled eggs and you'll begin to understand my indifference.
Haven’t been in years and still in my opinion is the best restaurant. The experience they deliver is the best and our server Patricia was the best.
We went here for brunch on a Sunday before a show at the Target Center. It is right across the street. Great staff. Great brunch buffet.
The service was slow even though we told our server that we had tickets to an 8:00 p.m. show.
The men who were with us thought that the entree portions were too small - smaller than they expected.
The buffet was very, very good. Comes with made to order omelette, we declined the omelette.
But there was plenty of food. Everything about this meal was excellent. Hats off to our waiter Daniel, we arrived just in time to witness something, not going to say what, But Daniel handled it extremely well. Yep its a little pricey, But in my honest opinion, its so worth it.
YES, YES, YES. Started out with Shrimp cocktail. Then received sushi on a cucumber slice, with a few other things on top. I had the Chicken Wild rice soup(Best soup ever tasted). Then comes the Palette cleanser. Main coarse was Beef Tenderloin medium rare as suggested. With our check we received a raspberry tort ball, it must have a little cream cheese in it because my wife didn't like it, LUCKY for me.
This was one of the best meals I have ever eaten
Nice looking place with good service and reasonable prices, but there were only 4 entrees on the menu! We had the chicken and the salmon, and they were both very good, but I had my heart set on the scallops that were listed in the online menu and also featured on a poster in the elevator. I expected more choices. On the positive side, the place was nearly empty, so getting a reservation and evening changing it was easy. We also thought the little extras appetizers they treated us to were very fun. Even the tea was served in exotic little pyramids. A classy place to eat, if you don't need a lot of choices.
We had a Memorable meal; delightful.
It was just ok. We had greater servers but the food lacked flare. Not sure we’d go back.
A hidden surprise in downtown. First time for all four of us, and enjoyed it immensely. Staff was very professional and the presentations were sharp. Had the NY Strip myself; would go for the tenderloin next time.
