Cosmopolitan - Telluride Ratings and Reviews
we tried all the top restaurants in Telluride and this is the best one by far. great ambiance, knowledgeable and friendly staff, excellent food and good value for what is served. Hands down and easily above all others. Lobster corn dogs, lamp chops, were favorite, so good we went back a second time on our last night after try every other "highly rated" restaurant in the town and none compared to Cosmopoltan
We visit cosmopolitan whenever we're in town, so the slow kitchen and slow service made this trip a real disappointment. We'll give them another chance but on a slow night during Christmas week, there was no excuse for the kitchen being so slow to deliver food.
We had dinner 12/24, 12/25 and then decided to do it again 12/26 & 12/27 instead of going anywhere else. Tried different dinners & salads-nothing disappointed. Amazing breakfasts too. Friendly servers & very interesting people too. Overall wonderful experience only made better by staying at Hotel Columbia.
Food, service, ambiance and setting were all delightful. We had two starters and two sushi rolls with local brews. Told our server that we found the food unusual and delicious. He seemed genuinely pleased. Can’t comment on regular entrees. Ah, but can attest to the excellence of the dessert we shared. Fun place with seriously good food.
This was our first time at this restaurant; the food was excellent. I thought the place was a bit noisier from nearby tables than I like - their voices really carried. Our table for 2 was also very unsteady - it needed more than a matchbook under one of the legs. We had several wild upsets during the meal. I don't like to feel anxious when I'm eating.
All in all, I'd probably not go here often. I prefer a quieter place.
Found the perfect place after a long drive our first night in town.
Menu not huge, but to be honest, several of us struggled on what to order as everything sounded super. Tiffen our waitress was quite efficient and guided us to right decisions.
Hits: chantrell leek soup, all 3 sushis we had, lobster corn dog, chopped salad, halibut.
Yum, yum, yum.
Fair sized drinks
