There are a lot of options of things to eat at Corretto, and in my experience, everything tastes delicious! The small plates are fun to share. They even have half price wine on Wednesday nights.

I had a great experience at Corretto. Their prices are very reasonable, and the portions are perfect so you don't leave hungry or with leftovers that will spoil in the fridge. I like the casual atmosphere - this place is not stuffy or pretentious at all. The servers are very attentive and friendly. I tried the gnocchi with pesto and it was fantastic.

What a treat! The appetizers were fantastic... the mussel/clams steamers were by far my favorite but the entire dining experience was fun. Cocktails served in vintage glass wear, chapters salad was very fresh and our entrees, their Bolognese and the seafood linguine were terrific. Would head back there in a flash. Small tables, intimate atmosphere. GO!!

Coretto's has a decent menu with a variety of food options, excellent cocktails, and a nice atmosphere. The food portions were great, even though there aren't enough vegetarian or vegan options on the menu. I made do by ordering a salad - no cheese - and a side of grilled vegetables. I'd go back for a cocktail, and to share the rest of the delicious-sounding menu with others.

Corretto is one of the few restaurants we have visited that we have not been dissapointed in a single dish that was provided. The gnocchi is amazing and the hanger steak was perfectly done. The steamed muscles was a bit on the citrus side, just a personal taste, but I appreciated that it was different then the standard butter soaked fair.

We have gone back for happy hour, provided on both Monday and Tuesday night, and look forward to visiting on a regular basis up on the hill.

Visited during Dine Around Seattle. The good dishes (steamed clams & mussels, hanger steak, lamb chops) were very good. There were some misses too, especially in the Italian dishes, which was surprising for a mainly Italian menu. Specifically, the gnocchi were mushy and drowning in sauce. Skip the cannoli as the shells were greasy and so strong you couldn't taste the filling. We waited a long time between courses. Our waitress didn't understand a Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine.

We really enjoyed our meals at this wonderful and friendly neighborhood spot. The ambiance is fun and lively, the wait staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is good quality and prepared very well. Go!

Our server was lovely. Very personable. By far the best part of the meal. The food was bland and the sauce watery. Even excessive cheese and salt didn't help the alfredo sauce. I know restaurants on the Hill tend to be more expensive, but the portion sizes weren't very generous. It was our first dining experience there and I don't foresee there being another.

We have dined twice, nearly a year apart. Food and service were terrific. Ambience was like that of a trattoria in Rome. Affordable. Parking can an issue.

The service and food were amazing. We started with the Bruschetta and Polpette di Carne which were both delicious. The meatballs were tender and all the sauce was quickly sopped up by the remaining bread - the bruschetta was equally flavorful and bursting with basil and sweet tomatoes. Definitely more than enough for two people to share. The inslalata mista were the next course which were surprising different from any mista I've had before. Pickled mustard seeds and onions added a new complexity to a usually mundane salad. For main courses, I had the seafood pasta which was chock full of clams, muscles and shrimp. I chose the red sauce which was hearty and delicious. My companion had the Fettuccine Carbonara which was good but could do without the addition onions. They were a little too pronounced in what would have been an excellent carbonara. The cocktails were also surprisingly well crafted. We both had the 15,000 Lira Manhattan which was definitely one of the best I've ever had.

Both our server and host was very attentive and friendly. Our only negative was the noise level, which was so intrusive that we struggled to hear what our waiter, or each other, was saying. If Corretto looks into some noise dampening features this would be both a delicious and pleasant dining destination. Still - we will be back!

Meat ball and mussel for appetizer was great, then 45 min later a different waiter who was blond with a bigger body habitus worked Wednesday night around 8-9pm, came asked if we want desert. We said our entree haven't arrive, it has been 45 minutes , then she said she is not our waiter and told us to calm down and she went to check, wasn't sound nice the way she talked, "calm down"? We were just telling you the situation since you the one came to our table asked us question. She came out 15 min later saying they are cooking it, that mean they are very slow with serving, giving excuse they were busy when some table were open. She brought three dishes out and put one in front of me, I asked if it was stead, she replied loudly no I only have two hands to carry three out. To me it was my first time there so I don't know what my dish look like, and she hasn't listen carefully my question and that her response, which wasn't professional and then if so if it wasnt stead why she placed in front of me. Anyway, food came out wasn't as good plus how she all suddenly show up ruin my mood for dinner.

The food was very good, and the wine was quite nice as well. It was a Saturday night birthday dinner with 7 of us, and everyone had a nice time. They brought a tiramisu with a candle for the birthday girl, which was very nice, but the dessert menu overall is a bit lean. Otherwise, the food was great and the space was quite nice.

Great experience. Service was attentive and friendly. Drinks were very good, asked for a dealers choice and the bartender came over to ask what I as looking for. A violin player was there giving a nice ambiance. Food was good, got the butternut squash ravioli. It was a little dry but still ok. Also they brought out a free desert for the birthday we were celebrating.

This restaurant is small, with a store front setting, very casual. The menu is small, but everything we got was well-prepared. My pasta was spicy and delicious. The meat and cheese platter is excellent. My husband ate every bite of his pasta--a very generous serving. The cocktails were interesting and well-made. The service was friendly and just attentive enough. The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived at 6:30. By the time we left, it was almost full. My gut tells me they get a later crowd. I would definitely go back to eat here.

Wanted to visit / support a new neighbourhood restaurant. Heard they make all their own pasta. With only 2 Washington wines on the menu they charge $20 corkage fee which we appreciated. We are happy to hear they are going to add a lot more local beers, liquors and wines. That's a plus! Staff was nice. Appetizers were good. The pasta carbonarra dish was terrible. Nothing like you get in Italy ... this was dry with an egg on top. Dining room loud and bright. They need to soften it up. Will think about visiting again in 6 months or so.

For the most part the food was good; the seafood pasta was loaded with fresh seafood and the drink specials were great. However, every single thing we ordered was completely overwhelmed with garlic. We are garlic lovers, in fact we pickle cloves and eat them whole. But there was such an excess of garlic in our food (from the oil to dip the bread in to the appetizers and each of our meals) that it LITERALLY irritated our tongues to where they felt like they were burnt on hot water. This lasted for a day or so. The chef absolutely needs to lay off the garlic and learn other spices.

The atmosphere is best described and generic trendy, nothing unique that you won't see at 100 city restaurants with loud music more suited for a dance club and generic decor. However, the service was great and there were some outstanding happy hour specials. If I wasn't afraid of another sulfur burn to the tongue, I'd go back. But with good seafood and service at so many other places nearby, I won't.

We loved Coretto - it was the first time. The pastas were outstanding, so were the vegetables, clams, etc. Everything was fresh and our waitress was wonderful. We were a table of 6 and everyone left happy.

I visited with my friend who I haven't seen for a while as it is nearby and seemed to be a reasonable spot in the neighborhood. The service was very personal and not pretentious, which is getting harder and harder to find here. Only if food was as good, I would come to this place a lot more frequently.
It is nice that they offer free bread, which was more than enough for two people, but it literally tasted like sliced baguette from QFC. Pasta was o.k., but I felt I could make at home something very similar. I ordered a glass of wine, which was neither good nor bad. The price is reasonable overall, and ambiance and location is pretty nice. But I would expect better pasta from Italian restaurant.
