We just got home from a SUPERB birthday dinner at Corner Table. The restaurant is very small, the tables a bit cramped, the noise level high. Otherwise, what a great restaurant! Yes, the portions are small, but I prefer that with high quality food, and we augmented our choices with cheddar biscuits and a marvelous charcuterie plate; we ended the evening quite full and not wanting more. The best of the evening was the duck preparation, with lingonberries two ways (sweet and pickled) with duck three ways. My wife was thrilled to have celebrated her birthday there. She had a lovely chocolate mousse for dessert that I was too full to share. Definitely, we would revisit this restaurant in the future.
I love the concept of having 3 sections to the menu and having the option to pick one of each as a pre fixed $45. Great value for the quality of food served. The best dish I had was the pork belly with the fish sauce caramel, my girlfriends favorite was the pappardelle. I thought the seared bison carpaccio was slightly overcooked and the lamb was slightly under seasoned. The charcuterie plate was outstanding. Their new chef is doing a great job!
We went here for my son's birthday because he wanted a unique dining experience. The Corner Table delivered! The food was inventive and delicious. The tasting menu options were interesting and diverse. Even my vegetarian daughter loved it. It was everything we wanted. We loved how cozy it was also. The wait staff were lovely.
Very expensive and way overpriced, including all the wines, everything seem to taste the same, on the tasting menu, the service was very good, at these prices I hope they remain in business.
After all these years Corner Table still has it! Latest menu is unreal, especially the wine pairings. Give it a try if it’s been a while. You won’t be disappointed.
Great restaurant and chef, love the tasting menu idea, but disappointed in the execution. The charcuterie plate did not disappoint as was a great add to the 3 course meal. Every option on course 1 was great but by the time we got to the 2nd and 3rd course we were overwhelmed by the salt (and we have 4 salt shakers in our house so we love salt). The sauce on the pasta was good, but way too heavy. My immediate thought was …I wonder if this is what the reviewer ate when he said one course was inedible. We did like the duck and the lamb, but again, the salt was too much. It would easily give the charcuterie and first course 6 out of 5 stars, but the rest was a solid 3.
The food was fantastic!! The salad was the best I'd ever had, and the other two courses were incredibly creative and delicious. We'll go back.
Food was delicious, but a bit overpriced. Noise level was way too loud to enjoy the experience.
I’d go back if invited, but probably wouldn’t go again for a meal out.
Food was poorly prepared. Not worth the price. Some courses were inedible.
So ridiculously wonderful. You feel truly taken care of. :)
Awesome experience as always clear table always delivers.
Best meal of my life. Exquisitely crafted menu, and I wouldn't change a thing.
Wonderful experience and cuisine. Enjoyed our time!
The food was really delicious. However the surface was atrocious. The weight between courses was excessive. No one ever came back to fill our wineglasses. Filling of water glasses was inconsistent. The popovers came quite late , were delicious, but after eating them quickly during a long wait for the next course we were offered no additional bread and in fact the bread plates were cleared from the table. The appearance and the atmosphere were quite austere. All of that is too bad because if the other parts of the dining experience had been better this really would be a great place for a special meal.
The Prixe menu was fun and affordable. The wine selection was incredibly expensive. Not any Chardonnays under $50!
and our waiter completely forgot about us several times while he was talking to people at the bar. We will not go back....
Noise level is a bit high
Wine list terrific and dark beer - yum!
This was our second time at Corner Table, and it will definitely not be our last. Our meal was excellent and the service was impeccable. We opted for the three-course menu, which was a delightful combination of flavors, and just the right amount of food. One of the second courses of pappardelle with a gjetost sauce was particularly intriguing and flavorful.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. My favorite was the bison with white beers and horse radish
Very expensive for the food quality. Didn't live up to the reviews. They we're flexible on meeting needs for allergies.
There were no bad choices at Corner table. Everything was top notch.
great wine, didn't try any food but definitely would go back
This was our second time at Corner Table and we definitely left with the same excitement as our first visit. The food is always great and we love the intimate, neighborhood setting.
Tried Corner Table for the first time during Restaurant Week. Tom Boemer's delightful creations were more than I had hoped for. The herbed salad, the duck confit, the cod, were all fantastic. And such a lovely ambiance in which to enjoy his delightful food!
Corner table exceeded our expectations. Our server was so knowledgeable about all of their food and wine and made excellent recommendations. The food was amazing and the wine pairing was definitely worth it. He also made the experience fun. We will definitely be back for the sweet potato donuts!
I’ve been to Corner Table twice now, first for New Years Eve and then this week for restaraunt week. Two of the best meals I’ve had. Amazing wine pairings and wonderful, helpful service. Not to be missed.
Karyn is doing a phenomenal job, as are Emily and John. We always enjoy our time here! The vegetarian and dairy free options are fantastic!
Absolutely fantastic experience here during restaurant week - delicious food, great service and excellent wine pairings with the meal. Will definitely be coming back for the regular menu!
This is our second time at Corner Table, and second time for the tasting menu. The menu included 11 courses and you could opt for wine pairings for an additional charge. The meal was outstanding, one of the top 5 of our lives (my wife and I). The portions were proper, just right for a tasting menu, and each was wonderful. Our previous experience with the tasting menu was when it had 7 courses, and I think 7-9 courses is about right. One really needs to be sure that you skip lunch and afternoon snacks if you are going to do this, as eleven of anything is a lot, no matter how small the portions. We spent just over 4 hours, which is wonderful, and we would highly recommend this experience to everyone.
We went for a late Valentine's/anniversary date. I am very picky eating out, as we don't do it often and prefer to save up for better meals. This was by far the best dining experience I have ever had. We have been to a lot of great restaurants but the corner table takes the cake. There was only one vegetarian option in each of the three courses, but that didn't matter, as they were all outstanding. My date and I were both overwhelmed by the balance and beautiful presentation of each dish, and the incredibly attentive service. We are only in the cities for another year or two, so we try not to go to the same place more than once as there are so many. But we will be making an exception, as we were told the menu changes every couple months. We will certainly be back at least once. Worth every penny.
Great food and great atmosphere. Small dishes on a prix fixe menu. Wine paring is a nice option.
We shared the fixed price menu and it was enough food and was spectacular
Awesome food and ambiance
We have gone to Corner Table three years in a row for Valentine's Day dinner and it never disappoints. Highly recommend requesting to be seated at the chef's counter so you can see all the action that goes into making their exceptional dishes.
My boyfriend and I tried out Corner Table for the first time as an early Valentine’s Day date. We were nothing less than blown away, the service was wonderful! We did the 11 course tasting menu, every bite was amazing. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to have a perfect dining experience.
This was a real treat. Delicious options and very well prepared. I would definitely return.
My first time at Corner Table. We sat at the end of the bar overlooking the kitchen.
Brent was our server. Everything we had was amazing. He had great recommendations!
Spectacular dining event. Can’t wait to go back.
The cheddar biscuits are so naughty. But so delicious.
Great Meal! Highly recommend Corner Table!
Exceptional!! Fabulous! I celebrated my birthday at Corner Table with my husband and best friends and from the moment we walked in until the last goodbyes from the staff, everything was perfect! Our waitress was warm, kind, funny, and knowledgeable! The food was unforgettable and the ambiance just right! Thank you for making my birthday dinner celebration exceptional!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed an incredible and delicious meal at his great restaurant. I would definitively recommend and plan to visit again.
Excellent atmosphere and food. Had the 10-course tasting menu, was very good!
