Amazing food and hospitality. The chefs were so nice and we loved sitting at the bar and watch them cook. We had a blast and had amazing meal. Thank you so much 🙏🏽
Fabulous dinner served by an extremely knowledgeable staff. Can’t wait to go back.
I hadn't been to corner table in quite some time, and I am glad I went back. Loved the service from the moment I walked in the door. Being vegan, I also love that they embrace all diets and immediately ask about special diets or allergies. I had a really lovely 4 course vegan meal. Very nice wine list and outstanding service made this a stand out meal. Can't wait to return.
The new price fix menu was excellent. The service was great, the ambiance was really nice, and most importantly the food was beyond delicious. Do yourself a favor and book your next date night meal here and you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended!!
One of the best restaurants in town. I suggest doing the $25 wine pairing and getting the sweet potato doughnuts for dessert. It is amazing from start to finish.
Great experience at Corner Table. Unexpectedly, my favorite dish of the night was soup made with Swiss Chard. The pasta was unbelievably good. Great ambiance. Great and very knowledgeable and helpful servers. We’ll be back soon.
We did the "feed the sh*t out of me & make it nice" and it was awesome. It is something everyone should experience.
We had a fabulous time. The servers were very knowledgeable about the wine menu and the different menu items. We had lots of questions. The dining area was small but cozy and not loud at all. Would be fun to sit at the open kitchen next time. We will be visiting again for it’s fresh local flare and would love to taste the summertime menu. All (6 of us) food was delicious and adventurous. Warning it’s not common American food dishes. We found it exciting, when prepared in a fine dining establishment and created by an extremely talented chef. Thank you for the great experience!
Outstanding! I don't know how I've never been. If you're looking for an amazing experience with fabulous food, wine and service, this is your place.
Fabulous service, excellent dessert and good food. Real enjoyable evening.
Our kids had been telling us to go for years. We finally did and couldn’t have enjoyed it any more than we did. They are doing it right!
The popovers and buckwheat honey butter. amazing. Loved the manicotti The pancetta wrapped cod was just ok. Little flavor and a bit salty. Overall a good experience not exceptional.
Awesome food and great service! We can’t wait to go back!
Ate here during Restaurant Week with the fixed menu. The food was sublime, the wine pairings thoughtful and poured with a generous hand, and the server Jen was fantastic. Excellent homey feel to the place, great ingredients, and masterfully put together dishes.
The food was absolutely delightful and our server was so awesome! Great Job!!!
Here for restaurant week and had a great meal. We sampled 3 dishes from each course and were delighted with them all. The wine pairing was excellent and complimented the food well. The service was excellent, knowledgeable and attentive. Great evening and experience. We will return.
Stopped by during restaurant week and was so pleased with everything! Exceptional service and divine food. Fantastic.
This was a genuinely incredible meal and an overall outstanding experience. It’s a bit pricey, but for a special occasion I would highly recommend. I was blown away by a couple of the dishes. From a fine dining perspective, you get all the positive aspects of the beautiful presentation, delicious courses, and attentive/informed service, but not any of the pretentiousness you might get at some other local fine dining establishments. 5 stars for sure.
We were quite disappointed by the way our food was delivered. The noise-level, although moderate, was enough to create a barrier of communication. We had 3-4 different people who brought our food to our table. Each one was very soft spoken. If we had ordered from the standard 3-course menu this wouldn’t have been a problem. However, we had absolutely no idea what food was coming to us. And 100% of the time, the food was either not explained, or it was said so softly that we had to ask it to be repeated.
This unfortunate circumstance started from the very first course. A woman, who was not our server, dropped off our plates and said, “And here is your lettuce.” That’s literally all she said. I looked at my husband and prayed that this wouldn’t be foreshadowing of the night to come.
The core of my complaint is this: Normally I wouldn’t take the time to write a letter. But after tip, we paid over $400 at your establishment for 2 people. Unfortunately, it was absolutely not a $400 experience. If the price tag wasn’t so high, these inconveniences might not have been worth bringing to your attention. But I don’t think we received what we paid for. We left Corner Table discouraged, frustrated, and unfulfilled. We don't anticipate returning.
We’ve done several tasting menus together. To us, a tasting menu should be described in a passionate and exciting manner. Each dish should be described in detail. One of the best parts is to learn about what you’re eating. Aren’t you proud of what you’re serving?
The restaurant was pretty okay. The food was nothing really all that special for the price. We ordered some sides that never came - but then again we were never charged for them (I would have liked to try the cheddar biscuits, though). Although it was three courses, I left still feeling hungry. They operate out of a pre-fixe menu which typically I enjoy, but the portions were very, very small and not all that elaborate - left me wanting a bit more. We dined at "TENANT" and they had a 6-course menu with the same sized portions for the same price as Corner tables' 3-course. Was the food objectively good? I suppose; but really not a good value for the price. We also NEVER saw our waiter, the hostess was very friendly though!!!
The food here was absolutely delicious! My partner had pork belly that practically melted in your mouth, and the brioche dessert was out of this world. Definitely one of my favorite places I've ever eaten. The tables were squished a little close together when we went, but I think that was to account for the higher number of reservations they must have had for Valentine's day weekend. Overall, our experience here was amazing.
Went on Valentine's day for our first visit when they had a preset menu. While the ingredient combinations were interesting, unfortunately everything besides the desert was way too salty, the saltiest restaurant food we've had. The place itself is a bit crowded with tables close to one another.
We were seated 45 minutes late. The kitchen ran behind all evening. We left 1.5 hours after being seated (2.25 hours after our reservation time) just as the main course was brought to our table so we had the first courses but did not get the main course or dessert due to the long waits throughout the evening. The restaurant overbooked and was understaffed in the kitchen for the menu. The only good thing was they comped our night. However, not what we wanted for Valentines date.
Wonderful Valentines meal with my children! The food and service was outstanding.
Corner Table offered a 6 course pre-fix menu with wine pairings for Valentines day which was truly fantastic. The food was a delicious and lively mix of the familiar and the exotic, and our server was so insightful about the food and wine and their pairings, that twice while discussing one of the pairings, she left and returned to the table with another wine so we could compare and contrast the options they clearly had done when they composed their menu. I'm really looking forward to our next visit!
Amazing place to dine in.. all the ingredients are fresh is what impressed me the most in a state like Minnesota
Corner Table with Chef Karyn Tomlinson is a restaurant we return to again and again, and it's not just for the absolutely amazing food. Their service is top notch! For as enjoyable as the food is, and it is truly incredible, we are treated like... I almost said 'royalty' because we feel so special, but I will edit that to be we are treated like family from the time we arrive until we leave.
We opted for the wine pairings with out three-course dinner and enjoyed some delicious wines we never would have ordered. Can’t wait to return!
We had fabulous food so artful!
Enjoyed watching the chefs do there art work!
Our table near the door was cold and drafty. Servers were great. Food was too, too! Would have preferred the lovely scallop dish for an entree and have a nice salad with your fun popovers. Dessert didn't impress. My honest opinion is that the fixed price menu is fine, but the choices need improvement. To spend $400 for a solo dinner, with only a couple of drinks, seems extravagant in my experience. Sorry- but you asked.
Lovely experience! Enjoyed the meatball, sunchoke, scallop, pork belly, bison, and duck. Would order it all again! And the biscuits are a must.
Great food but incredibly slow service. Waited 45 minutes to order. Waited another 20 minutes to get a glass of wine.
It was fun to do something fancy, but the food wasn't 100% up our alley. The wait staff was fantastic, and the restaurant was pretty quiet for a Thursday night. Make sure you order the white cheddar biscuits!
Great food you can’t get elsewhere.
Our service was delightfully friendly and attentive, paid attention to detail, perfect! The atmosphere was lovely; the music was played at a perfect level so that we could still hear each other's conversation. And though the food was elegant in it's presentation, I didn't find the flavors to stand out in any way. The fish I had was cooked to perfection, but the rest of the dish added essentially no flavor. It was pretty but vacuous. The portion sizes were laughingly small, even for an expected "gourmet" smaller size.
I may go there again, not sure . Didn't feel the food was worth the cost.
Our group of six enjoyed a memorable meal at Corner Table. All of us enjoyed the three course meal and all our different tastes and culinary preferences were more than satisfied. Service was impeccable. Wine pairings perfect. And the popovers and cheddar biscuits to die for. Many thanks to Chef Karyn and her team for a perfect evening for us to celebrate the birthday of a friend. We will all be back.
My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday. We had a wonderful time with an amazing waiter. Would highly recommend for special occasions.
A great meal!
Birthday night out and it was an excellent dinner with wonderful service along with delicious courses. Would highly recommend!
Love this place, fantastic food, wonderful service. A+
