Everything was great. Only issue was entrees came about 3 minutes after appetizers. There was not time to enjoy our food before our table was overrun with plates
Great service. Great neighborhood restaurant
Shannon was a wonderful waitress!!
Great food, great service, great sports bar and don’t forget to ask for the delicious corn bread!!!
Sat in a small booth near the bar, perfect setting for draft list and NCAA Womens BBall tournament. Light fare jumbo crab balls wi Md crab soup and cocktail sauce, beverage Yard Phila Pale Ale nice citric balance for meal. Excellent service, good listener ad suggestions of apple cobbler for dessert.
Great as always. Kayla is the best server!
We were seated right by the entrance (large party of 8) which was not too bad considering the chilly temperatures outside. Waitress was a tad harried, albeit apologetic. Although beer menu is extensive, they were out of 4 brands that various members of our group first ordered which led to a delay in getting our first round of drinks. Ribs were delicious and crab cake was huge. Most sides were good although two of us who got the baked beans were not impressed. Lots of choices on the kid meals for our three to choose from.
Came with my kid cause he wanted ribs and they claim to have great crab cakes.
No way on the crab cakes, there are much better places. Ribs were ok, not amazing. Sides are awful, in little cups. The salad must have been in the refrigerator all day, it was almost frozen.
Avoid - avoid - avoid ......
Good staff too
Great ribs every time! The meat just comes off the bone.
It was okay. Food was good, but not great. Definitely not the best crab cakes as they advertise. They had a lot of crab meat on top, but inside was mostly filler and dry. They were ok. Barbecue stuff was better according to friends. Had a huge selection of beer, but only choice for wine was house red or house white. No wine list at all and no bottles. The dessert menu looked great, but we passed on it. Had reservations and got seated right away. Server was very nice
Great food , laid back atmosphere
Good menu selection. Food was really good. Nice neighborhood restaurant.
Had to try their BBQ baby back ribs again! As delicious as almost 7 years ago when I was in the neighborhood.... this time we also tried their crab cakes, quite good as well.
I always thought the place was 高端大氣上檔次😝😝, not so.... But I would definitely come often if Corner Stable were in Long Island, somewhere closer. In all, I am not disappointed with its food, services and price. Two thumbs up 👍👍!
2nd visit just as great as the 1st! Ribs and fried chicken are amazing, server was on top of things! Will be back again for sure.
There seems to be a conflict between this restaurant and Open Table. We arrived early for our 7:15 reservation and were told that they didn’t accept reservations. After seeing several empty tables we were finally seated at a table that had been empty for close to 30 minutes. Several other patrons were very vocal in their displeasure of waiting. Once seated our waitress was really good at trying to accommodate our needs and get us our food and drinks as quickly as possible. The food was pretty good and we will try this place again as hopefully our experience was an anomaly. We’ll see.
The food is always great! But the service was slow and the waitress kept forgetting things. It was this past Saturday and I know they were busy due to power outages from the storm.
Wonderful dinner with the wife before Kid Rock concert!
Corner Stable in Timonium is a place we always look forward to returning. We came to CS Columbia because it was a convenient compromise for meeting a friend. I recall portions and platters as much larger and vibrant at Timonium. It could be my memory is off on the rib platter but the Crab Caesar Salad at 23.99 was not appealing. It was served in a shallow soup type of bowl with about a cup and a half of lettuce, dressed with shaved Parmesan, croutons, and the 8 oz. jumbo lump crab cake on top; there should have been much more Caeser. There were jumbo lump pieces of crabmeat with a fair amount of regular crabmeat in the mix. It was a decent crab cake but not a true all jumbo lump. I almost never post a negative type of review and I have hesitated to do that here but I was really surprised at the difference between Timonium and Columbia. Timonium, service, food, portions.....all much better.
Slightly above average crab cakes and ribs (an excellent amout of lump crab hurt by an overabundance of stuffing like binder). It was a quiet night due to poor weather. Excellent service. Pricey for the atmosphere and quality.
The mahi was delicious and the chocolate lava cake was terrific. Ribs are the best around!
Took a while to get our drinks. One person serving our large group and several other tables in the area. Busy because of the holiday. Food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and main courses.
Great dinner, as always.
I had the Valentine's Day prime rib special, and my wife had her go-to favorite, the Chesapeake Bay Club sandwich.
My girlfriend and I recently ate here after not being there for a few years. The meal started out ok (we had an app) but then the food came. Both my gf and I essentially picked at our food in silence. As we were leaving we both commented on how this was the worst meal we have had in a long time. I had the ribs, there was so much sauce that it was like a soup and the fall of the bone babybacks had zero flavor. This continued with the bbq chicken, that my gf had. I use to love going here but I do not know what happened to the food. There was definitely nothing that I consumed on the menu that should be considered Baltimore's Best Anything.
Door to heavy for people with disabilities. Great food! The ribs are amazing
Food selection is good. Food came out hot. Enjoyed the experience.
Our reservation was pointless. We still waited to be seated. Service was slow
I didn't know that the Corner Stable had a restaurant in Columbia. I always travel to Timonium. How happy am i that it is almost in my backyard! The ribs are the ultimate, crab cake is a very good 2nd! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself.
The new early bird menu was a great value - several popular entrees for $10 (M-F 3-6).
By far the best place in Howard County for ribs!!!
We were in from Quebec for our grandson's first Christmas, great place to take a little one and we had a very nice family dinner with him.
We had a holiday lunch for a group of 11 people, the staff was excellent especially our waitress, Cristina, who was professional and attentive. Food all came out at the same time, was hot and tasted great. I would definitely recommend The Corner Stable in Columbia.
Great time celebrating a couple birthdays!Great food and great service!
I have been to this Corner Stable (3) times this year alone - once for my Mom's (98th Birthday), Mother's Day for My Wife & Mom, and just recently for my Son's 24th Birthday in December and it has always been a rewarding experience. We had a nice view by the window and the waitress was simply outstanding. We all got the "Showstopper - Crab Cake w/whole rack of ribs". Ribs sauce was excellent, baby back ribs meaty & tender & plentiful, the crab cake was very large and all lump meat. It was six of us and our food was ready within -8-12 minutes tops!! We were in at 1:30pm and all done by 2:30pm. WOW!! That's what I call service. We got (1) blooming onion that was enough for all of us! Very Yummy. We all took "doggy bags" home. All the sides orders great (stew tomatoes, French fries, mac & cheese) - OUTSTANDING). Again High Kudos to our waitress who continually checked on us throughout the meal. Prices very reasonable, and great place where you can be casual dress. I rate the Corner Stable in Cockeysville the same and many of my co-workers & family go there as well for the Northeast corridor of Baltimore County/City.
The ribs were as good as they stated but it was a small portion when I got the fried chicken and ribs combo. The fried chicken was excellent and was large enough for two people to share. The server was great and was attentive to our table of 7. My only recommendation would be to serve the food on plates instead of in baskets. The desserts were pricey but tasty. Would go back if in the area again.
i have never written a bad, let alone a really bad, review in all of the years i have had open table. unfortunately this restaurant deserves it. there were 8 of us celebrating our daughter's birthday including a uncle from kansas. i had notified them when i made the reservation, it was her birthday, when i called to confirm, i again reminded them. i told the hostess when we arrived and pointed her out to our waitress. the appetizers were great. it went rapidly downhill, they ran out of burgers at 6pm on a sunday, we reordered, after an unreasonable amount of time, the food came out lukewarm, not very good and the 2 special salads didn't, we waited at least 15 minutes for them. everyone waited for the salads to arrive, so food is now cold not lukewarm. i went to the hostess and manager. both said they were sorry and would try to take care of it. at no time did anyone come and update us on our order or explain why there was such a long delay to make 2 dinner salads. dessert was the final straw, no candle, not anything for our daughter's birthday. when i spoke to the manager, he said the staff didn't sing, however we heard the staff sing happy birhtday 2 tables down about a half hour earlier, he then said they did do lit candles, which i pointed out was not done in spite of 4 reminders it was our daughter's birthday. at this point we were halfway through dessert, that they would light a candle, i told him too late and rather lame. they ended up giving us a $20 gift card, which we used to pay the bill, they didn't charge us for the desserts which we wouldn't have ordered if we knew nothing was going to be done for the birthday celebration and took 10% off the bill. we arrived at 5:30pm with 3 children, we didn't get out until 7:30, ridiculous. i asked the manager why we should come back and his answer was that he was sorry. i am beyond disappointed with this restaurant.
Great beer selection but the food (ribs and crab cake) and service were average.
First time visit. Crab cakes were the best my wife and I ever had - and we lived in Maryland for 30 years. Went back for a second dinner.
We eat at Corner Stable (Columbia) often. The food is always delicious and well-prepared. The service is great.
