The waitress was real friendly and informative. We appreciate everyone who came by and ask how was everything. The food was amazing. Minus the extra wait for the birthday lady dish. Overall we had a good night.
Great venue. Great Service. Great Food. Great Experience.
We were there on a Friday night during March Madness so I shouldn’t have been surprised at the noise level, which was deafening. However, they seated us at a booth next to the toilets, which only added to our discomfort.
This is basically a big bar with a limited menu and a TV. I mistook it for a pleasant restaurant to spend time with my family. My bad.
We visit NY each year for work and it is my favorite time to get out of the tourist traps and visit this amazing little find in Harlem. Great food and service and all you drink mimosas. Just bare in mind that the menu changes at the weekend and this is my favorite!
The place was clean, the food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. I will return.
Had a great time at Corner Social for my birthday. Always love the vibes there!
Nice spot in Harlem. Food was good. Service was good. My main complaint is that the restaurant was way too dark. I needed the flashlight on my phone to read the menu. I couldn't see what I was eating. For that reason alone, I probably will not return.
I can’t compliment Corner Social enough. I went for brunch, but feel like it’s a great spot for any occasion.
Communical feel to the place. I liked what I ordered but, the appetizers got me full before I had the meal. So I had to bag a portion of the meal to take home. The drinks were right on point. I only needed one!... I will return soon...
It was my birthday and a few of my friends came to celebrate with me. ( i celebrated my bday here a few years ago as well). The bartender, Jay made it extra special with tending to myself and party. Made sure we were drinking water with all the alcohol we consumed. Hennesy was giving out shots of mixed drinks we ended up purchasing and the dj was on point.
I arrived at Corner Social 15mins early. My reservation was booked for 5pm. I was not allowed to sit at a table until 5pm came. The kitchen was closed until 5pm. The only option giving was to stand at a crowded bar. Just squeeze in there somewhere. Get it togther people..
Corner Social never fails to disappoint. Had a great brunch as usual with excellent service--staff are always top-notch.
All entrees were enjoyed, I was surprised by how repeatedly my friends thanked me for selecting this spot.
Food, service & ambiance all a cut above. Delighted!
arrived within the 15-minute grace period for my 4:00 reservation only to be told that the kitchen closed a few minutes before 4:00. Mmmkay, then why accept reservations for that time?
The hostess said she meant to call to let us know, but she would hold a table for us for 5:00 when the kitchen re-opened. We returned at 5:00, the earlier hostess was preparing to leave, didn't acknowledge us or, apprently, leave a note for the new hostess. After explaining what happened, we were seated.
There were several delays - the waitress coming to take our order, the drinks coming to the table, and my meal. But she was quick to bring the menu for additional items to be ordered and to bring the bill.
Some people in my group ordered appetizers only, others ordered an appetizer and an entree, I ordered an entree only. After waiting more than 30 minutes and asking about my meal, the waitress explained she "coursed" the order, so my meal would be out when the other entrees we brought to the table. What?! Why no ask me if I'm OK with that? Normally, I would be, but since the restaurant pushed out our resevation by an hour, I was very hungry and frustrated.
When we asked the waitress if she could split the bill, she said she couldn't remember who had what and would just bring us a pen to do it ourselves. Seriously?
All this and the noise level was loud enough to be a day party. I'm not going back.
I planned a birthday lunch for two 92 year olds who came with walkers and cane and came late. The staff was most accommodating and patient. The food was a hit. I enjoyed the fish filet and the garlic spinach. If you want a quiet conversation, this is not the place to go, but if you want to people watch, have a relaxed meal, you're on.
Corner Social is a great neighborhood gem. It is very lively and has a great dj almost every night. The happy hour includes a decent Malbec and Pinot Grigio as well as good on tap beer options. The food itself is wonderful. My friends are foodies and enjoyed everything they ordered. It is a very popular location, and that means that sometimes the service may be a little slow, but that shouldn't ruin your evening.
Good, but lively aka noisy place. Food and happy hour $5 beers were awesome.
Food was everything. Had the crab cake appetizer and lobster ravioli dish. It was sooooooooo good. Dj on-site with good music. Kind of loud but it was a place I will go back too
DJ starts playing really loud music at about 10. Good place for a drink.
It was great ,the food the atmosphere and staff., i will definitely make it one of favorite, and keep recommending to friends and family.
Food, service and ambiance were great. Between the football game and the music it was difficult to have a conversation with my friends. I will return.
I love this place especially when Cesar is bartending. I wish they would bring back some of the old apps like fried mac & cheese and cheeseburger spring rolls. The hostess was a bit abrupt and dry with her welcome but our waitress made up for it amazingly unfortunately I can't remember her name.
I celebrated my 21st birthday here! The happy hour drinks were amazing and strong. The music was great and so was the food. Would definitely come here again
Great spot for hanging out and drinking with friends but I would not recommend as a spot for trying to have conversation. It's so loud inside the restaurant, you can't even hear yourself let alone the person sitting across from you!
It's too bad that corner social has to have the music at a volume louder than most clubs. This is the 2nd time I've gone there only to have to sit outside: once in summer heat wave and recently in the colder weather covered in hats and jackets. I've spoken to so many people in my building and the neighborhood who entirely agree. The food is quite good and the value is great. The interior is nice and could be a pleasant place to eat and talk with friends - rather than scream and quickly scarf food to get out of the chaos.
We went there with friends because it was located near the Apollo Theatre where we were headed for a concert. The music was deafening, so it was difficult to carry on any conversation, plus the live sports on big screen TVs were distracting. We got that it was a casual place, and it was obviously popular, however. The calemari appetizer was delicious, and we all enjoyed our meals, but it was not the most comfortable venue for us.
Delightful experience for 7 of us. Table was ready when we arrived. Excellent service. Great food!
Corner Social is a very nice restaurant! The staff was very friendly and helpful! And the food was good also!
Excellent service great food would definitely go again!
The food was phenomenal and the service was very good. You got value for your money, Definitely worth trying!!
After a hardworking day, it was a pleasure to have dinner with my girlfriends at a true Harlem gem. This restaurant and lounge was wonderful. I loved the food, music, atmosphere, cocktails, and the array of beautiful people. Our server was such a gracious, warm, and pleasant young lady. She never hesitated to see to it we had all that we needed. She was very accommodating and sweet. A good time was had by all!! We will certainly be back!
I met with a potential client for the consultation, we were initially seated outside, service was good, waitress came around gave drinks, came back and asked us if we wanted to order, we did, we ordered salads of which I don't think was worth $16 each. We had lemonade, the glasses were small, eventually we moved inside because it started to rain, the waitress came back around asking if we wanted dessert, we said yes, the deserts are all $9 ! I couldn't believe the prices. I would honestly go back if someone else was paying, not worth the money.
Location was great, food was ok. But I made a reservation for 8 and they gave us a table that comfortably fit only 5, maybe 6.
Very nice restaurant in Harlem with great ambiance . However little bit too noisy with very loud music!
I come here all the time for happy hour and sit down dinner. Amazing place to be. Parking is pretty easy. There's a parking garage near. People are great. It a great place to go for a night out.
The food made for a great dining experience however the wait for a table was extremely long even with a reservation. We had a reservation for 9pm on a Saturday night and did not get seated until 9:45pm which in my opinion is unacceptable. I understand a 15- 20 minute wait to allow for overflow but 45 min is excessive and completely negates the point of making a reservation. The front staff was seemingly overwhelmed and moderately helpful at best informing us that our table would be available in a matter of minutes when they knew that wasn't the case. Thankfully we weren't in a major rush so once we finally did sit we were able to fully enjoy ourselves but not without being slightly annoyed in the beginning.
Overall it was a good time but they need to work on the front of house.
A solid hangout/ casual dinner soor
The staff was very accommodating!
