So the service was amazing and the food was good, the only thing is we made reservations and when we arrived the dining room and full menu was no longer available which was very disappointing since we made reservations and you would think that means the dining and kitchen would be open. Other than that it was good just not the night we had planned for for our special occasion.
Mediocre experience, expected better quality food and presentation, food was overcooked, wine list is very limied
Not so much a restaurant as it is a bar. We stopped for a bite after a football game. Decent burgers and such and it's okay for that sort of thing but it's not a place to go for a really good meal.
We came to see the Big Lick Conspiracy Improv Group and decided to dine before the performance. Our server, Junior, made excellent suggestions for our appetizers and entrees. The food was fantastic. My wife and daughter both appreciated the ambiance and décor. Junior was most helpful. He asked his superior if seats could be saved in the entertainment venue while we dined. Robert accommodated our request. Robert was most pleasant and checked on us later before the performance, as we sat in the perfect seats for the show. Junior was an excellent server, attentive and knowledgeable. Robert was the perfect host and our waitress during the show was efficient and capable. She suggested drink selections that were perfect for our mood and was available even though the place was packed! We rarely dine in Roanoke but we will make Corned Beef and Co. a destination for monthly attendance. We already plan to attend the March 21st Big Lick show and will dine at Corned Beef and Co. We plan this outing to include many of our friends. We like to share our favorite experiences and Corned beef and Co. is now one of these.
We were there at 5:00 and it was pretty empty. I have heard its a great bar and lots of fun, but we weren't there at the right time for that. The server was pretty good...no complaints, but we weren't fussy either. We had the pretzels w/dip, fries w/cheeze, jalepenos, and onions, and a pizza. The food was great especially those pretzels! Lots of things on the menu I would like to try and plan on coming back sometime later in the night to listen to some music. I would be interested to see what age crowd goes. I have heard it is a popular place to party. I am in my 40s and don't mind hanging out beside 20somethings for a while, but usually not to make a night of it (no offense). Probably wouldn't take kids there past 7:00 or so because it is very much a bar feel. I enjoyed it and will definately go back.
I had my graduation party here and was able to get a private room that accompanied all my guest! It was quiet and the service was great!
The food was really good. And the service was good. The only fault was the mixed drinks. Very watered down. I got a whiskey mixed drink and it looked clear. Couldn't taste any alcohol. For 6 to 9 dollars for a drink, should taste some alcohol and not taste like watered down cool aid. Other than that the night was fun. Live band was awesome and since we stuck to beer the rest of the night it went well.
I took my husband out for dinner, drinks and to the comedy club. The web site was not very helpful as I was not aware there was roof top dinning or that we could have had dinner at our table at the comedy club. We arrived early in order to eat before the late show; however, would have watched the early show and then stayed longer into evening for drinks had I known. The service was great and my husbands steak cooked well.
I took my son, Jessee, to Corned Beef for his 21st birthday. Very enjoyable. We sat in the bar area, which was fun, however, when going to the bathroom you could hear the comedian upstairs and every other word was "Mother F-----r" and other nasty words. Just think maybe the door upstairs should be closed so that it is private.
Came with a friend to enjoy a quick dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. It was a nice night, and this was a great place to sit outside and enjoy a drink. We stayed longer than planned because the live music was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome/very chill. We will definitely be back for the music.
Quickly seated once we arrived. The table was a little sticky which is my only complaint. We had the curly fries with cheddar cheese and it was absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Ben never let our glasses get low! The chicken Parmesan entrees was great as was the chicken Alfredo. Bens service was impeccable, answering our questions and quickly bringing our food but spacing the entree after the appetizer nicely. Overall a great meal!!
Went there for dinner, comedy show and dancing with my wife. Had a great time.
Had a quiet dinner with a colleague one early evening. There was some confusion on my part about the reservation, but we were ultimately easily accommodated. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Roanoke.
Service was fabulous. Our waiter was helpful, funny and very attentive. He kept our glasses full and delivered great recommendations for meals. I will definitely come back.
An absolute must every time we go to Roanoke, Va. The sandwiches are the best in Roanoke and Billards is free if you are eating lunch.
Good atmosphere but terrible food. My husband and I both had the same experience separately. He entertained clients there last week and I did the same this week. Both of us agree- this is a bar, not a restaurant. The food is not good. Atmosphere and service are okay, but we both did not even finish our lunch. Would not recommend.
Everyone's entree was superb. The wait staff was excellent. We would go back again.
Loved the pool tables and upstairs club atmosphere
Best French dip sandwich I ever had!
The service was outstanding and the people there were very helpful and pleasant. I truly enjoy my event at Corned beef and Company.
Restaurant was too dark to see the menu. Waitress had to offer us a flashlight to read the menu. Other than that this us a great restaurant.
New cook on staff. Food was mediocre. Great service. Good mixed drinks.
