My husband and I were in Savannah for a couple days and Corleones was recommended by our hotel bartender. My husband had the shrimp and lobster ravioli and I had prosciutto wrapped salmon. We were both impressed with our meals and the extensive menu. Also had a bottle of Chianti and thankfully left room for tiramisu because it was the best we've ever had!
Nice and delicious food fair price
Outstanding food, served by a well trained staff, in a busy, yet comfortable environment
Nice ambiance, with the exception of the appetiser ( brichetta), the food was middle of the road. Good drinks. The service was slow.
Overall rating, 5 of 10
The meal and wine was excellent. As an added bonus we got the tiramisu and it was the best balance of flavors for tiramisu we've had. The lucky thing is we had enough leftover for dinner the next day.
If you like old-fashioned pasta dishes you will love Corleone's. The dishes may not seem authentic to you, but they are to the one who cooks them. We very much enjoyed a veal dish that we have had many times and it doesn't come with pasta. However the same dish at Corleone's came with pasta and a fine white sauce -- and it was much better than the one we were conditioned to expect.
Keep an open mind and taste everything put in front of you and you will be rewarded with a very fine dinner.
Best Italian food I have had in ages. As good or better than Italy venues. An extensive menu should please all. Exceptional service and reasonably priced. Valet parking available. We highly recommend Corleone’s Trattoria in Savannah.
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – We started up a conversation with people at the next table and it was great fun. I definitely would return to try more dishes. I have been spoiled by the Italian food near where I live but the Lasagna was amazing and my wife loved the pasta dish she ordered. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Savannah.
Very friendly staff and accommodating. We both enjoyed our pasta dishes. I had with the herb crusted and my husband had the special. Definitely go back
Excellent service, tasty food and overall fun night. Would definitely go again!
Had a great meal here on our visit to Savannah. Will be back for sure on our next visit.
Food was lacking. Salad had brown pieces of lettuce. the dinner was not much better. tough piece of chicken. The mrs's food was about the same.
We made reservations at the web site's suggestion but found they were not necessary. Food was very good, seemingly authentic Italian. Prices were in line with other places in Savannah. Wait staff was attentive, a little overly so, but it was very slow while we were there. Dessert was a little disappointing. Would have preferred something fresh made in house. Key lime pie was reminiscent of one of those 'no-name's boxed kits.
Sat outdoor for dining before a concert across the street. Service was fast and attentive. Food was good but not great. Was not as good as prior visits.
Pretty good red sauce Italian Resturaunt - but could be better.
My wife had the eggplant parmigiana. The eggplant seemed like it had cooked a bit too long, since the cheese on top was close to be being burned. The pasta was softer than we like it - but we did not specify al dente so we really can’t complain.
I had the chicken parmigiana - and the chicken was fantastic! A really large piece of chicken that was perfectly prepared - the outside was fried just right, the chicken was moist and tender, the cheese was melted perfectly and the marinara sauce was delicious! My pasta was also too soft - but I also did not specify al dente when ordering.
Don’t waste calories on the bread - it is terrible. But this is a minor thing and not worth mentioning except to warn you to save your hunger for the meal.
The waiter was attentive and helpful.
This is clearly a neighborhood favorite - it fills up early and if you don’t have a reservation you will wait a bit.
If the pasta had been a bit firmer and the eggplant not a bit over cooked, we would have given Corleone’s 5 stars.
We will certainly try it again Corleone’s next time we are in Savannah.
So if you say you have carbonara on your menu it better be carbonara when I order it and it wasn’t. Carbonara is a very specific dish and when you fry pancetta, throw tomatoes in it for some reason, and throw creme sauce on it- does not a carbonara make... either call it what is or don’t call it carbonara on the menu. Borders on offensive when you call a historic dish something and it grossly misrepresents what is it.
First time visiting Savannah and saw the recommendations. The food was very good. Service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Big portions, great service. easy to have conversation. Valet parking nice service if you're in a hurry.
It was our first experience dining at Corleone’s and we enjoyed the experience. The portions are very generous. We ordered a Greek salad to start and for our mains, we ordered lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs. We have leftovers for lunch today. My suggestion to other diners if you are not in a hurry would be to only order your appetizer initially as the appetizer and main courses arrived way too close together. The atmosphere is very comfortable and has a very laid back feel. We have company visiting us from Canada in the near future and intend to bring them to Corleone’s for sure.
Great food, service and atmosphere! Would highly recommend it
Ready with our reservation right on time. Staff were attentive, appetizer came out amazingly fast, drinks were never empty, dinner and dessert were quick and everything correct.
Vibrant atmosphere with great service and a traditional Italian menu that leaves nobody out of a favorite choice. Priced right ,
This is a relatively small place. It feels like a neighborhood restaurant inside. I don't mean that in a derogatory sense - it's just not a really "fancy" place and has more a cozy feel. Our table was ready when we arrived. They have valet parking (a real plus in Savannah where parking is in short supply). The Italian food was very tasty and moderately priced. The service was very good.
Everything was great!
Another excellent meal at Corleone's! We needed to eat a "tweener" meal - late lunch, early dinner between concerts at the Savannah Music Festival, and this was a great spot for that. The soup of the day - parmesan tortellini was outstanding, and our entrees were excellent. Even with the lunch menu prices, the portions were quite large and thus, the value for the money was very good. Our server was excellent - she checked back on us regularly, but let us take our time and not feel rushed at all. This is one of our "go-to" restaurants in Savannah because the food preparation is reliable and consistent, and true to southern Italian style.
I had a great experience dining at the Trattoria during a family vacation last week. The food was very good and the service was great. The staff are very polite. A good place for family dinners, date, or friends get together as well.
I truly wish I could give a five-star review, but I cannot. Perhaps it was a bad night with a bad waitress. It started with her not being able to remember the additions to the menu, followed by her dumping my appetizer on me and then leaving the mess on the table. I actually had to ask for a new appetizer as it fell on to the table (she just picked it up with her dirty fingers and put it back on the plate!) The second appetizer was served with the dinner salad which wasn't awful but not appropriate. A gentleman who was either the owner or manager with an amazing personality did come to the table and tried to smooth over what had happened. I would give him 10 stars. The food was very good and worth a second shot there, but I must say I am a bit leery. She was a nice lady, but definitely should not be serving dinner or needs to be supervised. Lastly, she never returned to ask for refills on drinks and never cleared the table of excess plates and wine glasses (it was set for four and there were only two of us), nor did she clear off the used plates after our appetizers and salad.
A great choice for dinner. There were so many choices of places to eat, we are glad we selected Corleone's. There was a wide selection in the entire menu. Drinks. Appetizers. Food. We were happy with each choice we made. The restaurant was crowded, but noise level was not so bad. Waitress was a little slow and forgot our appetizer due to waiting so many tables. But otherwise, this was a great place to enjoy an Italian meal. If not for our short stay in town, and our efforts to try other places, we would be back for sure.
Appetizer was very good! Our meals were good, but not superb. The kitchen had been really backed up so our pour waiter had to deal with angry guests the whole night and didn’t really get to focus on us as much. He was great, though! The restaurant gave us free desserts which made up for everything.
We were there for dinner on our Anniversary and the Food was amazing!
Food was good but they served everything all at about the same time. Appetizer and salad came at the same time and dinner within 2 or 3 minutes after that. Sort of ruined the whole experience. Need to have waitresses serve not the bus boys.
We are in Savannah on vacation and saw the restaurant when we were walking and decided to try it for dinner. We were very pleased with the ambiance, the restaurant staff, and the food. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. The lasagne was amazing!! The chicken parmesan was a full chicken breast and very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent Italian food .
Better than olive garden but nothing special. Would not eat there again.
For a tomato bisque, it lacked the creaminess you’d expect from it. Although it was seasoned very well. The meatballs were very dense, probably from being overworked/over-rolled. The sauce was way to sweet and lacked any hebassiousness from the lack herbs and seasoning. The lasagna was really good, perfect amount of cheese/sauce/meat in every layer. The crostinis for the bruschetta were bland but the tomato mixture was delicious.
As always consistently good food and great waitstaff. Nice martinis.
Excellent service, food was delicious and wonderful ambiance!
Service was good also good menu location to venue was ok
Wonderful dinner, inviting atmosphere and great service! Group of us dined before the Brad Paisley concert. Will return again!
A must go to Italian restaurant when in Savannah, GA
