Always an excellent meal and experience. Cork Tree is a diamond in the rough. Every time we come into town, it's always a must to go here. I would highly recommend anyone to come dine here for a lovely dinner either business, casual or special occasion. I highly recommend the scallops. Enjoy.
Really enjoyed this restaurant. Didn’t realize it was a little finer dining. Would have dressed nicer. Overall very good.
Fabulous food with good ambiance and low noise level. The service was impeccable and overall a very good experience. The restaurant however is very pricey.
Four of us ate dinner. Two of us had the chioppino which was fabulous. The beet salad was really good and none of the dishes were disappointing.
Everything was top notch. People in booth next to us were very loud which was annoying.
We enjoyed our meal and our knowledgeable waiter
Wonderful menu and dinner ... fabulous service and such a friendly atmosphere! Thanks to the Cork Tree team !!!
Lovely place!! We’ll go back again and again.
Great service too.
One of the worst Filets I have ever had. Could not finish. Realizing after the fact that I should only order steak from authentic steakhouses. The pork shank my sister had was divine do this review is solely based on my meal.
Our appetizer wasn’t good either (escargot en croute). Realizing after the fact that I should only order escargot in France.
Delightful waiter. Beautiful restaurant. Disappointed to not enjoy such an expensive meal.
Fabulous food and service! Loved everything!!!
Our server was wonderful ! She was patient when we were indecisive and helpful with suggestions. We never felt rushed and were comfortable the entire time. Thank you for making our anniversary special and letting us have a good experience :)
There was a slight chemical smell on the patio.
Very nice atmosphere, service, and choice of food selections.
The restaurant was busy but the staff could not have been more welcoming or efficient. The food was first class and the wine list is extensive. Overall, it is an excellent restaurant for a friendly night out.
Good food ......ambiance was too informal considering the price.
We brought friends for their first time visit. Our praise for the Cork Tree was fully supported by the quality of food and service, so we were well pleased by the experience.
we loved it,5 star all around. only negative was visible TVs in bar.
This is our all time favorite restaurant in the Palm Springs area. We never miss an opportunity to eat here. Their food is outstanding. Try the Beet Salad and Cioppino.
Four of us voted unanimously that Cork Tree was our favorite!
Had a great experience...ate there twice in our visit. Highly recommend Ray as a waiter...very knowledgeable of menu and wine!!!
Great food service and extensive wine list!! We had a great meal! Ahi appetizer was great too
Overall the Cork Tree is quite good. There are a few things they could do better, but will address separately with the restaurant.
Excellent all the way around. Love the backlit menus - nice touch
We ended our 6 week restaurant crawl in the valley with this gem. It has the very best service (and food to match) that we encountered during our stay. Thumbs way up from our party of four. The bored and unfriendly front hostesses were the only part of this experience which did not exceed our high expectations. Kudos to the Cork Tree wait staff and chef.
Service was great and food was good.
We were seated next to bar so quite noisy.
Over all experience was Explant.
We will go back !
Went last night celebrate. Got put in a side room with a very loud table of tipsy folks. Unbearably loud. Could not carry on a conversation. Ahi appetizer was decent but a little bland? Beet salad was very pretty but needed more dates in it to play withe other flavors. Scallops we're very large and perfectly prepared. The accompanying citrus risotto was bitter and overwhelmed the scallops. Service was solid and professional.
Birthday Dinner was outstanding. Great service from Ross who we enjoyed immensely. All the food was superb & well presented. We would highly recommend Cork Tree to All as it is much better than most of the name restaurants in our area. Thank You for a great evening.
Food was excellent but we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation and were on time.
Cork Tree is our favourite restaurant in Palm Desert with its superb food and attentive service...somewhat expensive but well worth it.
Visited Cork Tree this time with a number of out-of-town guests. Food quality is a signature of Cork Tree and this occasion was no different. Nice menu mixture of meats and seafood plus a thing or two for the vegetarian. Servers are experienced and service in general is impeccable.
More or less across the street from Marriot Desert Springs Resort.
Food was great
We've been to Cork Tree several times in the past. We've never been disappointed. The food was well prepared, and they had a few unusual things on the menu, with some new takes on some of the normal fare. The wine list is nice. The service was very good. We will be back to the Cork Tree next time we are in Desert Springs.
Good food.........very expensive ......
Food really good. Service outstanding. Booths very tight. Overall a very good experience . Going back soon. A bit pricey; but worth it.
Cork Tree is a good spot for a meal. The menu has nice variety and everything was well prepared. The pricing is a bit higher than the quality of the food, but I am a bit picky. The staff was very attentive, but our waiter forgot a few things. Ambience is wonderful. Not loud, which was very appreciated. Overall I would recommend it.
My caesar salad was a pile of lettuce with no dressing, no anchovies, no nothing...my husband's ciopinno was tasty, but had nothing but shrimp for $40. When I told the waiter that my salad had no dressing, he brought me a tiny container with dressing...I told him that I shouln't have to put dressing myself on a caesar salad..the chef came out and apologized and said he will alert the powers that be about the salad....they gave me a dessert free of charge but we won't go back again and we were told about this restaurant by others who won't go back either....we used to like it very much.
Great ambiance and food presentation. The service was "almost too good." The waiter was on us (in a quiet way) to order , etc. etc." The bus boys were on us also to finish up and get the plates from the table." But, I would put up with that rather than being ignored or having service be too slow.
What stood out most was the hostess and her scowl when we arrived to when we left. If she doesn't like her job then she should get another one where she doesn't have to face the public. Especially the public that is going to drop $200-300 to dine there.
Food service was slow, although staff very polite.
We had to wait over an hour for our entrees and when they come out one of them was wrong. I was upset that our daughter didn’t have food and they remade all the dinners. Dinner was a disaster but they did redeem themselves by taking the four entrees off the check and said this is not their typical service. I appreciated them doing this. It shows that they knew this was not a good dinner experience.
We had been to the Cork Tree many times but always eating in the bar and off the bar menu. The dining was a step up and the price point reflects. Food and service definitely in the positive bracket.
