Cork & Fork Ratings and Reviews
Our food was excelllent. We particularly liked the farmers market salad. We chose the remainder of our meal from the happy hour menu and, although the appetizers were excellent, they were a little rich - probably too much of a good thing. The patio space is beside a busy street but we got used to it.
Absolutely loved it. Almost wish we had more people in our party so we could have tried more dishes. The Thai Shrimp Cakes and Pan Seared Scallops were amazing. Also had Shrimp and Grits, the Mike Pizza and the Everything Deviled Eggs. Nothing disappointed and everything was extremely flavorful. Topped it all off with King's Hawaiian Bread Pudding. It could have used a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream to cut the sweetness, but was still yummy. The Happy Hour food and wine offerings were a great value. Not a fan of their dining time limit, but we were able to stay longer since the restaurant wasn't full the night we were there.
This has been my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood for quite a while; however I was disappointed in my last visit. The market salad had virtually no dressing on it and the avocado toast was basically mushy bread with some slices of avocado on it. Maybe it was just an off night for the cooks. I've eaten here many times and it's been delicious. Pizza is the best. The scallops with polenta are to die for.
We finally went to Cork and Fork and it was lovely in the sense that both the bartender and our server were really helpful and just seemed down to earth. The food had nice flavor. We started with the goat cheese bruschetta and it was excellent. For dinner, I ordered the scallops and although it's a small dish, it was plentiful. My husband had the pork tacos and thought they were good. I'd go back in a minute! :)
We had a wonderful time and made a memory!! We came to celebrate my wife's birthday with a group of 10ppl including two children age 3. The service was wonderful and the ambiance was perfect. It was so fun trying different food and as a group this is the perfect place to share plates and expand your taste buds. Our two little ones did great for being 3 but I'm sure we where a little louder group than they normally have. However, the staff was very gracious with us and helped to make a wonderful memory for our entire group. Thank you!!
Delightful unique dining experience. Attentive service. All dishes are meant to be shared. They are creatively designed and are taste treats. Open your mind and your mouth for some interesting and tasty food combinations. It's a fun relaxed atmosphere. Nothing else quite like it here in the desert, that I am aware of. It is a small interior space, nicely designed, they also have outdoor dining on a side patio. The owner/chef has a cooking school adjacent to the restaurant. I definitely recommend this fun dining experience.
This is our favorite restaurant in the valley! We relocated from Bay Area and this is right up are alley if you are a foodie like we are. They have some new items on the menu and we especially loved the peach salad and my husband loved his orecchiette pasta dish.
The bread pudding is to die for. If we or too full we take some home and re-heat.
