Cork & Fork Ratings and Reviews
excellent fun food. Happy hour is the bomb. Great wine selection. Just had the tacos! and I will be back. Looking forward to taking the culinary courses. Thank you for staying open during the summer. I pulled the cork, I took the fork, and only barbecue pork will put the same smile on my face.
Excellent wine list and everything from pizza to Adult Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Goat chesse bruschetta is also a favorite and they have the most amazing butterscotch pot du' creme. One of my go-to places in La Quinta. Service is top-notch and they know their wine.
This was our second visit to Cork & Fork. We were seated promptly. The tables are quite close together but fine. The wine list has some good & interesting choices. We shared 3 appetizers, one, a fried cauliflower one, was really good. One of us had soup of the day, it was very salty. We had 3 entrees & a pizza. The risotto was over salted as well (and I generally enjoy way too much salt) and the pizza was very soggy and not good at all.
The A/C was not up to the desert heat or the number of customers and many people were fanning themselves with their menus. It was a pretty disappointing meal in general.
This is the second time we've been to this restaurant where the AC seemed totally ineffectual. Everyone was sweating and anxious
to leave as soon as we ate. Even the restaurant smelled of human sweat. Packed in, hot, not enough AC. Won't go there again in the summer.
We took another couple who moved into the neighborhood about a year ago to one of our favorite places to eat and they couldn't believe they lived so close to Cork and Fork and hadn't tried it yet. We all agreed...this was the best dinner we have had since we moved here and we live within walking distance. How lucky is that!?! Every tapas was absolutely wonderful as was the pour of wine for $6! We've been here several times and had bragged that it was a great place for tapas but our latest visit was beyond fantastic. Congratulations to the waitress, chef...everyone for a awesome night out.
This is an exceptional spot. The food quality is outstanding and the service matches it. While it is a wine bar with an excellent wine list, I would prefer that it had a full bar but that will not detract from coming back frequently. The only reason my review gave less than 5 stars for certain things is because it was very warm in the restaurant the night we were there on an exceptionally hot evening. Still, the food was incredible; the wine delicious; and the service outstanding. You won't be disappointed. Order many small plates and share. Then get ready for a great larger plate and whatever you do--don't overlook the bread pudding.
We have always enjoyed our time at cork and fork.
The last three times have been quite uncomfortable as it has been too hot.
We have been there on a Tuesday and were told it was because the restaurant was closed on Monday and it was hard to catch up.
Well the last time we were in on a Sunday,
Still hot not even just warm.
We know that it is hot outside, but the temperature should be turned down.
We are bringing quests in next Tuesday and hope it will be enjoyable 🙏
Thanks Jan Hansen
Cork & Fork is a great little find in La Quinta. They feature small plates but I also have regular dinners. Most of the items on the menu you will not find anywhere else. The chef does an amazing job and everything tastes wonderful.
Reservations are recommended even in the off-season.
Cork and Fork is a very cozy restaurant in la Quinta, and fun to go for Happy Hour or full menu. Their portions aren't huge but are packed with flavor and freshness. I've been a big fan of their Cooking with Class sessions, which is right next door. Not the best for big group.
