Cork & Fork
Cork & Fork is the Desert areas first wine bar & small plates kitchen, showcasing fabulous affordable wines from around the world and incredible dishes to go with them. The menu features eclectic ingredients and familiar foods done with a twist in Chef Hubka's signature style.
This is a one of a kind spot for foodies and wine lovers to come together - where our motto is always Mix, Match, Mingle - ENJOY!
We love this place! It’s got a local feel but we’re treated so nicely. The food is delicious and the wine pairings are exciting and generous. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Our server Colette was very pleasant and efficient.
We were vacationing in the area and this restaurant was recommended to us. We went there once and loved it so much that we decided to go back on my birthday. While they didn't do anything extra special for me for my birthday, at least they wished me a happy birthday. Next time we go back to La Quinta, we will most definitely go back to the Cork & Fork.
Delicious as always
Our dinners were excellent. The service was great. The price was reasonable. What more could you ask for?
Aces all around.
My Honey and I had booked our favorite restaurant for our one year anniversary...or so we thought. It was closed since we celebrated on July 4th. I did a bit of research but trusted the reviews of Cork & Fork and booked a reservation.
Holy s*~t! I am so glad! We had excellent service, educational on how much we should get (which I ignored because so many things sounded good and I wanted to taste them all-another good instinct!), and the food spoke for itself.
Don’t leave without trying the Local Strawberry Salad, Crunchy Cauliflower, and Thai Shrimp Cakes! We ordered 6 “Small Plates” which were not small at all, which lent us leftovers the following day. The only thing that was good but not remarkable were the Thai lettuce wraps. Still tasty, but just took up room in our bellies for the Shrimp and Grits and Nonno Flatbread.
11/10. Eat here, and let us know how dessert is because we clearly didn’t leave room.
Excellent meal. Not a great value but very tasty.
A fantastic summer prix fixe menu. We will be back to try the other items. Also, a good wine selection of no so common, but just as decent wines. Have already recommended several people.
Food was just ok, three course meal was 29.99 per person most other restaurants are offering 19.99 three course meals this time of season a bit of a limited selection on there menu pasta primavera, Angus beef Tacos (small tacos smaller than bite size beef), Shrimp and Grits on the thirty dollar special.
Prices were overall a bit high for their food selections.
Pizza was what I noticed must patrons ordering. Beer and wine only. Wine is only sold by the bottle.
Service was excellent!
Our guests had never dined there. We had a wonderful dinner and evening. Great service!
FOLLOW THE RULES: We've eaten here five times, but there will not be a sixth! The service is generally "ok" but not great. But this last visit really took the cake. Apparently there are "RULES" you must follow. If my husband orders a prix fixe dinner and I don't want to order a prix fixe dinner, I am required (by the RULES) to order 3 items. At the beginning of a meal, I don't know if I'm going to be hungry enough to consume 3 items off the menu, so when we balked at this RULE, the server told us that's what the owner has told her to tell customers. When we balked a second time, she starting backing down, and after a long explanation of "I could probably get you just one item, but usually it has to be 3," I really wanted to just leave. We ended up staying, the food is "ok," but the price is WAY OUT OF LINE for what you get. The appetizer-styled items are not inspired, to say the least, and the wine is overpriced. A dinner for two, with 3 glasses of wine was $104 including tip. We should've driven the few extra miles to enjoy inspired and reasonably priced, appetizer-style, happy hour food and drink at the Cliffhouse. If you are reading this and you are also the owner, start paying attention to the feedback and reviews your customers are giving. You're going to be out of business if you continue this hoity-toity attitude!
Only complaint was that the Hawaiian bread pudding was very dry.
Great menu for sharing dishes. Wonderful variety of menu items. We ordered 4 dishes and it was enough for us.
Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Our favorite. Fantastic food. Always consistent with good service. Reservations hard to come by during the season. Summer you can walk right in.
Our first time to Cork & Fork and it did not disappoint. We had the goat cheese bruschetta, thai shrimp cakes, and margherita pizza. All were delicious and it was enough food for two of us. We enjoyed the large wine selection! We will be coming back next time we are in the area.
We were looking for something lighter, and this fit the bill. Husband had the grown up grilled cheese, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the shrimp tacos. Get them! So yummy! We also shared crispy Brussels sprouts, which were delightfully savory and perfectly cooked. (I'm not a fan of sweet Brussels. Was very pleased with these.) Impeccable service and upscale ambiance.
It’s perfect ❤️ Great food .. good wine selection.... excellent service
I’ve been many times and have never been disappointed! I brought a friend for her first time and she loved it! The menu, wine and service is amazing!! Can’t wait to go back!
First time visiting Cork & Fork and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The food was SO delicious and unique, great ambiance with beautiful decor and the service was top notch! Must try the cheese plate with the mouth watering truffle honey and the filet street tacos are outstanding! We will definitely be back next time we are in town!
We always have a great time at cork and fork. Everyone that works there is so nice and accommodating. Whether we sit at the bar or have a table for six, we are always taken care of.
Food is always consistently delicious, healthy and service is the best!! Isabel is our favorite.... always has a smile on her face!
I have been coming here since it opened. Always my go to place for great food and service!
We went during Restaurant Week. Fried green tomatoes, filet lettuce wrap, and banana bread pudding were all very good. We also go here for happy hour.
Enjoyed the summer food week special.
Great food and service but it was a bit hot inside. Not sure if the air was not working but it was hot.
Went during Restaurant Week. Had a great meal and a very good value. Enjoyed a nice discount on the wine too.
Our food waitress was excellent, but when we moved to the bar for an after dinner glass of wine the bartender was unfriendly and made us feel unwanted
The restaurant is small and every table was filled, therefore it was fairly noisy. The food was excellent, as always. Service was okay, not special. Maybe too much work for one server? We chose the restaurant week menu. All the dishes were tasty and well prepared, except for the dessert. Two of the choices were not available. Slightly disappointing. Wine choices were very good.
The food was great but then it always is! We sat at the bar and watched the restaurent fill to capacity. Its one of our favorites and we will return!
Great food at reasonable prices. The filet mignon tacos are the best!!!
Couple of issues: tacos served cold, server corrected, asked for one scoop gelato and one scoop ice cream for desert -was told it couldn’t be done. No real reason except “they said no”. Need new AC. So hot inside makes it uncomfortable.
Other food ordered was very good. I am not a fan of shrimp. This is one of two places that I will eat shrimp, as in Shrimp and Grits
Food was near inedible. Way too much salt.
The server had an attitude.
Will not return.
I am in love with your Thai shrimp cakes!!!! Hated the shrimp and grits, grits cold sausage hot and No Shrimp!!! Should call it sausage and grits, I had to return it. Instead I got filet Mignon tacos which were absolutely great!
Repeat customer for a reason. Good food and service
I was not very impressed this time around. My husband had the pizza with prosciutto and there was hardly anything on it. I had the scrimp and grits and it was ok.
Goat cheese bruschetta.. that’s all you need to know.
Love this local gem ! Great spot with nice menu, fun vibe and terrific food and drink!
I knew that this was a "small plates" restaurant and wine bar, but I actually expected the food to taste better. I was just disappointed
The food was spectacular, from wine pairing to dessert, such a phenomenal experience. I live in LA but visit the desert often, this by far is the best food experience I have had a long time. Hats off to the Chef!
