Core de Roma - West Chester
Nice atmosphere. Delicious food and great service.
Will definitely be going back!!!
We visited Core de Roma on Mother’s Day. The food was great. I had the lobster and crab ravioli in a blush sauce. My wife had the spaghetti carbonara. We enjoyed our meals and will return.
Great authentic Italian food and very nice people.
Always a good meal. Had the pasta special and it was wonderful.
THE place for authentic Italian food! Definitely going back. Easy parking too.
Wow! What a wonderful meal and experience.
Great service & food that cannot be beat.
Definitely will return
The cozy - just like grandmom’s house- atmosphere and the friendly staff topped off an amazing meal.
My girlfriends and I really enjoyed our dinner at Core de Roma! The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back
Great food. Attentive staff
First time at Core de Roma. Good selection on menu. Had an artichoke appetizer that was really good. Enjoyed Pasta Carbonara and Eggplant Parmesan. Sauce on pasta was excellent. Finished off by sharing a lemoncello/mascarpone pie. Very nice. Definitely will go back. Owner greets you and checks on your visit a few times..nice touch.
Best Italian food in West Chester! The owner is so sweet and everything is just amazing
Best Carbonara I've ever had! Fantastic service and a family feel. Highly recommended!
this restaurant has excellent food!! highly recommend!
Great food, friendly and attentive server.
Returning often because of the great food which is always very consistent.
Best Italian in West Chester. Food is outstanding, ambiance is casual and not ostentatious. Great for a night out and for families.
I have eaten here twice and each time the food was outstanding. Service is hit or miss but not bad. I highly recommend the tripe either as an app or an entree. Osso bucco was excellent. My fiance had a fish special which was also great. Prices are reasonable also.
Had a fantastic dinner experience. The owner Luigi was very friendly and in fact made us feel like family. Food was great too. Highly recommended.
Very good BYO Italian restaurant with a heavy reliance on family recipes. Exceptional service. But that noise! Most tables seem to be reserved for larger groups which when coupled with poor acoustics, create noise levels that can be downright annoying.
This restaurant never disappoints...an amazing dinner!
We started with an appetizer that consisted of fresh mozzarella over arugula with balsamic vinaigrette, candied walnuts and dried cranberries that we all enjoyed very much. The Rigatoni alla Boscaiola was our favorite - so delicious! But the other meals - Spaghetti Carbonara and an Octopus special were also very good. The cannoli's were a perfect way to end a truly enjoyable experience at Core de Roma. We will definitely go back.
As always, an excellent meal. Gigi, Judy and staff prepared outstanding dinners which included suppli and burrata as our first course. We had the calamari, antipasto and polpette in the past too. All are delicious choices. This evening we enjoyed the branzino, linguini pescatora, bucatini and penne alla vodka. If you like braciole, it’s fantastic when it’s available. But really, we’ve never had a bad meal there. Marina was our server this night. Excellent and courteous. My go to restaurant.
We all were very satisfied with our meals . Ordering the Roma artichokes with greens was excellent as was the homemade gnocchi ! It was recommend by the owner who was very pleasant and helpful .All Simply delicious ! I ordered bronzino with veggies... very good ! The only thing that disappointed us was the lack of garden salad with the meal .. we had to move our table because of the very large Birthday party celebration . It wasn’t a problem , the owner was very accommodating..
Amazing from start to finish. It was a bit loud when we arrived but quieted down over time.
Food and service was excellent!
Awesome dinner! Luigi was very welcoming and made us feel like family! The food and service was first rate! You will not be disappointed. They made us feel special as it was my wife’s birthday and brought out some birthday cake to celebrate!
Love this place. Amazing food. Family owned. Consistently good!
Regular customer of this place because it is always good, a BYOB and they have parking.
This was our first time dining at Core de Roma, and it certainly won’t be our last! Each party was treated with special care, service was great, and the food was delicious! The candle on the table definitely added to ambience too!
Excellent food and service. We went on a Thursday night to avoid weekend crowd.
We were drawn by the traditional Italian dishes on the menu and will return for the tasty food and warm Italian hospitality. I was especially thrilled with the Ricotta Cheesecake!
Excellent food and service. Pasta is homemade and sauce is excellent. It does get loud and can be hard to have conversation but it’s definitely worth it because the food is so good.
Excellent meal. This place was recommended by a friend and it didn’t miss. The food was out of this world! Truly authentic Italian. The owners were actively involved and very accommodating. Neighborhood gem for sure.
Core de Roma is great for big groups! We went for a birthday and they let us bring our own cake. They had a ton of specials and the burrata was AMAZING. Also highly recommend the grilled calamari salad- the calamari was cooked perfectly. All of us enjoyed our meals ( mostly got pasta).
Lovely. Delicious meal and attentive staff! :)
Fantastic authentic Italian food! Family owned. Owners are super friendly.
great italian rest excelent food convenient local
We were a group of 8 and everyone raved about their choice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We were not rushed. We were able to enjoy a leisurely dinner and catch up.
We were there for Il Pranzo, a meal that resembles the Sunday afternoon gathering of an Italian family. The meal is slow paced and spread out over many courses. It is always a treat and I’m only 1/4 Italian!
We and friends are regular visitors to “Core”, and the restaurant is always a pleasant experience in every respect. It is BYOB and a typical times when you would anticipate a restaurant to be busy, it likely is so make a reservation. Unlike a lot of West Chester dining, free parking is available.
We eat out frequently and know it's a challenging industry. We chose this independent restaurant for our group of 5 based on the menu online and a friend's recommendation. Apparently, since it was the Saturday after Valentine's Day, the entire menu was replaced with a "special Cupid" menu which had the entrees all priced $5-10 higher than their advertised menu. Some places might do a Valentine's specials in addition to their full menu, not instead of. It felt like it was a bait-and-switch for no added value in quality of food, service or atmosphere. None of our group will return.
My fiancé and I love the experiences we have had at his restaurant! The food is delicious and everyone is very friendly. We love the Gnocchi!
