Sub par food - steaks were burnt and fish had strong smell!
Dessert was fantastic
@BiloxiWhiteHous Had dinner at Cora's Resturant last night for the first time and the service was AWESOME. Tony and Heather made the experience top notch. The food was excellent and only outshined by the service. Great place for fine dining. We will be back!
Hostess Service=BAD Food= good. Waiter, Chris=nice and capable. The atmosphere is pretty, but loud. It took over 45 minutes for us to get our table. There was a lot of confusion among the ladies working check in at the hostess station. It seemed to me that one lady did not know how to check us in for our reservation. She told us to go sit in the lobby and they would call us. I asked her if they would text or give us a pager because of the party in the lobby. She said no they would find us. This was at 8:58. There were a lot of people waiting. We checked back at 9:19 and were told they were running behind. They seemed very defensive and said that they respected our reservations, but that we were going to have to be patient. We were not making a scene, just simply trying to tell them that we were waiting all the way on the other side of the lobby away from the D.J. And only asking should we check back, wait at the desk, or were they going to look for us. I did not want to loose the reservation. I was told they would come get us. At 9:33 we went back to the desk and were told to be patient. At that point, we decided to wait at the desk. A few minutes later we were told that our table was being cleaned. The lady indicated a table we could see. Then she seated a family standing behind us that had not been in the lobby when we checked in at 8:50. We were told to be patient the table was coming. Finally, we were seated at 9:45. I really did not appreciate the way the hostesses handled the entire situation. A 45 minute wait for a reservation seems unreasonable to me. It was a very unpleasant experience. Then while we were eating the waiter said everyone was angry with him, from the customers to the kitchen staff. He said the kitchen closed at 9:00. I told him our reservations were for 9:00. He looked surprised. Very unorganized group. Crazy time waiting for the table, and the hostesses seemed angry at us for making a reservation. Probably will not go back.
Would not recommend to a friend. Ambiance is very romantic and nice furnishings but prices do not correspond with food quality. Food was just okay, not what you would expect from the fancy decor to fancy menues to fancy prices. Go to Wilbur in ocean springs instead. That place is fantastic and quality food and good prices.
Delicious food for meals and room service. Hosted a luncheon for 14 guests on 12/27. Richard, James, Chris and many others could not have been more kind and accommodating with menu selections and service. The 14 ladies who have known one another for 30-40 years were treated with great respect and are still chatting about their luncheon. Thank you!
Overpriced and slow service
The hostess was very nice. The waitress was not very good. She questioned one of the childrens ages by asking the girl how old she was, When the girl said 12, she doubted her and the girl did not like the accusation that she was lying. The food was good but it was not being prepared and put out in a timely fashion. The desserts were a huge disappointment...brownies? some weird bread pudding that had the most awful texture and no taste...we think it was supposed to be a bread pudding, still not sure. And we had to wait for them to put out more desserts. Also the mashed potatoes were inedible due to the amount of pepper . I think the cook thought he was using salt but instead it was white pepper.
We enjoyed the restaurant, table was nice, meat was wonderful but every vegetable was undercooked. It was like they put everthing in the pan and forgot to cook it.
Went on a Saturday at 2pm and they said they only serve brunch on Saturday. A little disappointed that we didn't have a full menu, but I got Grauds and gtits and it was delish.
Food and service was excellent. Truly a fine dining experience.
We had a phenomenal visit, meal, and everything else at Cora's. It was our first visit there and it was a great celebration for myself personally and everyone at the restaurant was top notch. Our food (fresh fish of the day, filet along with sides - brussel sprouts are always my favorite and these were the best) was delicious and cooked to perfection and again the service was fantastic. We are now life-long customers. I recommend highly.
We met up with friends from out of state and they had a great time. It was a little difficult with three small boys but since we requested the booths we hoped our noise level was bearable for the other patrons.
Thanksgiving buffet was advertised as having Prime Rib however there was no prime rib available. Also they were out of some ingredients for a cocktail. This particular night was sub-par.
Went for Thanksgiving buffet and the carving station ran out out turkey and prime rib. Kind of disappointing for a thanksgiving buffet running out of a main course.
We dined here for Thanksgiving. The variety of food was good. Atmosphere and service were excellent. We will return
We were looking forward to a nice Thanksgiving meal here. We were disappointed. The food was not good. First of all, we did not realize it was going to be buffet-style. Most of the vegetables were undercooked and hard, especially the green beans and Brussels sprouts. The dressing was bland. The desserts left much to be desired. We selected multiple desserts because we were trying to find one we actually liked to no avail. The seating arrangement was poor.
I'm not a fan of traditional "Thanksgiving food ", but there was plenty of variety to please all palates. Beautiful setting, great service.
My table was not where I requested and and the food at best was lukewarm on the Buffett. Two in our party had to wait for the dessert table to be filled twice. We were there two years ago and everything was great! On a plus side, our waiter was excellent! But I will not be back next year!
Everyone working there was really nice!! The restaurant was nicely decorated and it was relaxing.
The price that we paid for the food and the food that we received didn't match. The macaroni and cheese was dry, the mashed potatoes had a few potato pieces that were not thoroughly cooked, the butternut squash looked liked it was just thrown in the serving pan. The turkey was very moist, the brussel sprouts were really good, and we enjoyed the desserts. The adult beverages were good and Kayla, our server, was very nice. We also appreciate the kindness the server at the buffet gave us as we know they were working on Thanksgiving Day. Overall, I didn't hate it but for $$$$ I expected everything to be outstanding if that makes sense.
Perfect alternative to doing it yourself. No mess or fuss and great atmosphere
I had Scallops and my wife had the Lamb...UNBELIEVABLY Delicious. It was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving so there wasn’t hardly anyone there. They gave us a private booth with a 360 degree curtain around it. Very romantic and secluded feeling.
We had a great weekend at the White House. We had 2 dinner meals and breakfast throughout the weekend that we stayed there.
Gloria was very welcoming and sweet. During the meal we were served by Zach which made our night by his very professional but funny service.
The lamb chops , clam chowder, ribeye and the fired chicken were very good.
I highly recommend this place if you want to have a nice night out with your loved one.
We had a very lovely dinner. Had a little issue getting our drinks and my steak not being done. Loved our table. But there was a really loud table of ladies on the other side of the restaurant. Our server was great.
Everything was AMAZING!! Food was excellent! The chef came twice to our table to check on us. Gloria, the hostess was very, very sweet and nice. She made you feel at home. Plus she has gorgeous hair!! Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. We came for a girls night out. My husband and I had come to the establishment prior and I wanted to take my friends there for the Amazing experience !! All the food we tried was great, but the fried chicken is one to try!!! Yes I said fried chicken- you will not be disappointed in it! Thank you Cora’s for an amazing dinner!!!
It far exceeded my expectations! I was able to have a conversation with my friends while eating a delicious and elegantly presented meal. We didn’t feel rushed, all items ordered were correct and as described in menu. The staff was very professional and delightful.
My wife and I enjoyed a great meal at Cora’s. We were staying at the White House Hotel and decided to eat at Cora’s as it was located in the hotel. We had great service and our meal was quite good. The restaurant manager came by our table to welcome us and ask if we were enjoying our meal. She was very personable and made us feel that she genuinely cared about us having a good experience. Highly recommend the chocolate bread pudding with espresso sauce for desert.
The food was amazing, and the wine was reasonably priced. We enjoyed the privacy of the curtain-drawn table as well. Our favorites were the duck and creme brulee.
Four of us dined at Cora’s and everyone enjoyed their drinks, food and the quiet atmosphere. Our entrees which were all cooked to perfection included halibut, scallops and lamb chops. We will definitely dine here again.
Not at all what expected. Bathroom off dining room was not operable and that experience was disgusting. The roof deck had not firepit as pictures portrayed. Awful experience.
Beautiful decor, nice setting, good food and wonderful service. Dinner and drinks are a little pricey but for a special occasion, you couldn't go wrong.
Anniversary evening was really wonderful. The service and friendly staff were refreshing. The food was very good and unique dishes. Wine was excellent and 1/2 off when we visited. The location on highway 90 is close to I-110 with the beach just across the street.
This was my first visit, we checked out the bar and found it very open and accommodating . Bartenders were friendly. Then we had dinner and food exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!
We loved Cora’s! We went there for a girls night. The hostess was delightful and food was absolutely delicious. The ambience was really nice and service was great.
Stayed at the White House Hotel for my birthday and ate at Cora's for dinner. We were greeted by the nicest host who took us to our table and took some birthday pictures for us. We had Lane Snapper and gumbo with a nice bottle of wine that we took to the roof top terrace to watch the sunset. Everything was amazing. Will go back again soon.
Had a great time with my wife. The food was great. It was my wife’s birthday and couldn’t be happier about our visit. Service was good everyone was really nice and helpful.
We were greeted promptly, the service was great & the food was delicious. The ambiance was awesome!
Always have the best service with Jessica Malloy as our server. Love the new menu selections that have just been added.
Lamb chops out of this world. Great bar and great place to eat. Our friends first time and they throughly enjoyed the evening . We will be back.
Amazing food!! Service was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful! Can not wait to go back.
