The waiter did not seem to be interested in waiting on us.
We had a wonderful dinner there for Mother’s Day. Food was very good and the waiter was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We had cocktails in the bar before dinner and the bartender made a good cosmopolitan. I highly recommended this place.
This was our first time at Cora’s. The dining room is very nice and was quiet. Our server was excellent.
The fried oyster small plate was our favorite dish, the oysters, topping and spinach were very tasty and done to perfectIon. The house made dressing on the Caesar salad was quite good. The tomato soup was tasty but the consistency was unusually thick. We had the Delmonico steak which was too salty and the roasted duck with Brussels sprouts which were good and the accompanying black eyed peas were mushy. They offer a limited but nice wine selection.
Would definitely give Cora’s another try.
Food was exceptional
Service didn't exist until I spoke with the hostess. After that it was fine
Service and atmosphere was top notch. The staff was on their A game on our visit. The food was good for the price. We both had the Ribeye steak which was cooked to order and not overly seasoned! The drinks from the bar were excellent and well made! We will definitely plan on another visit in the future.
Excellent server! But, the food and drink were only mediocre, especially given the Manhattan-style prices.
Great location in hotel on Gulf Coast. Dinning room was nicely done, quiet, and very comfortable. All staff members were very nice. Food was tasty, and served promptly, but no rushing needed
This is a very beautiful restaurant with great food.
A champagne buffet was advertised and this is what I booked but upon after seating was told they have stoped this I should have been told earlier I will never recommend this place again
Incredible food and service. The menu has a lot of great options, it was difficult to choose. And the wine and cocktail selection is extensive too. I had the red snapper and it was perfectly cooked and seriously flavorful. The hostess had so much personality and was so nice, you wanted her to have dinner with you. And the table service is second to none. She had a fantastic personality too and was perfectly attentive. Definitely will go back if I’m in town!!!
Ambiance, service, menu and food was outstanding! All four of us got something different and shared.
The Delmonico steak, duck, pork chop and filet mignon were all delicious. Also, Cora's has an incredible drink menu. Can't wait to go back!!
It was great Easter dinner.
Th Executive Chef dripped the ball. Items advertised we’re not on the buffet. All starches on the buffet. Vegetable sides, sautés peppers & onions or salad. An experienced chef, or at least one who shows pride in his/her work would have never allowed this buffet to be set up.
We are regulars. We know what this restaurant can do. The Easter buffet wasn’t Cora’s best.
Cora's had a great, attentive staff with delicious food to match the overall experience. The isolated booths were phenomenal and allowed me to devote my attention solely on my wife.
Overall the experience was excellent. My only disappointment was with the fried oyster start. The oysters could have been larger and more flavorful- much like the Ahi tuna my wife had.
The Steak Walter and Pork tenderloin were delicious as was the creme brûlée.
Overall, a satisfying dining experience.
The food was excellent, but service was slow and they brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert. There was a big event at the hotel that night, so maybe it was just an off night for them.
We had made reservations for two at 5.15 when we arrived at the restaurant the hostess informed us that the restaurant would not open till 5.30 (I reminded her that we had reservations for 5.15) she apologized and said that the restaurant was indeed open?. I told her we had made reservations but she never bothered to check my name or anything. Hoping we would get a nice table for two (not) we were escorted to a five person table with a curtain separation from another five person table. No table cloths just a nice Formica topped table. The waiter was nice but failed to write down my starter so we did without my starter. My wife asked for a three Malbec wine tasting and the waiter came back with two tastings (apparently they had ran out of one of the Malbec's on the wine list) during the course of our meal the hostess and the waiter kept closing our curtain at the table don't know why as there was not much to see. My duck breast was way overcooked despite the fact that I went with the recommendation of medium rare. I like my duck on the rare side. My wife's steak Walter was actually pretty good, the truffle French fries were burnt and there was no truffle flavor.
Wonderful food choices and quality. Filet is comparable to top steak houses.
Our feed was delicious. The servers were short handed and you could tell. Someone the waiter we had did a great job keeping up and checking in with us. We were welcomed by everyone. We will take a trip back just the steak and grape jelly!!
Nice atmosphere very quiet at lunch. Appetizer of crab brie bisque was excellent very rich. Rib tips were very good more than enough for lunch. Pecan trout entree was ok the fish had a large bloodline in it, didn’t taste fresh. Overall an ok experience.
Wonder food and atmosphere. Chris our waiter was very attentive and helpful with lunch choices. We will be back!
Everything was just Great from the service to the food!!!
Thank you, Gina! We look forward to serving you again!

Getting our reserved table went well, we did however have remind them that we were there. But once we got started service was wonderful. Food very good.!! Would go again.!
Thank you for your feedback! We regret the hiccup at the beginning of your visit, but will work to make sure it doesn't happen again! We are so happy you enjoyed your time with us and can't wait to serve you again!
Our waitress Jamie was excellent. The prices are a bit high for the food served.
Thank you for your feedback, David! We will share your thoughts with management and pass on your commendation to Jamie! We hope to see you again soon!
It was great. Amazing service and even better food. A very nice environment for a girls night or a nice dinner.
We are so glad you all had such a great time, KB! Thank you for the 5 stars and the commendation! Hope to see you again soon!
Delish food and the staff is also amazing. It was very romantic and intimate.

First time and we loved the food and atmosphere. We will be back.
Yes! So happy you were happy! Thank you for choosing Cora's, we can't wait to see you again!

Elizabeth, Thank you so much for the kind words! We will definitely share them with our staff. We are excited to hear of your excellent experience and that you'll be coming back again! See you soon!
We have eaten at Cora's for both lunch and dinner prior to this time. We have never availed ourselves of the happy hour and this time we did. The bar setting is beautiful, is well staffed and bartenders were all eager to serve and most pleasant in every way. There is nothing we ordered or asked for that they did not provide. In hindsight, we wish we had finished our evening at the bar as the food and service were superb.
In the dining room, we had an apparent rookie waitress who was unfamiliar with menu items and who placed our order inaccurately so that one of us had to wait to eat long after we were all finished our meals.
We were 2 Senior Couples who were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. For the most part the evening was pleasant but the dining experience was less than great. The waitress was pleasant but not up to speed yet. We were also unprepared for a 3 dollar upcharge for changing sides. All the sides were priced at 7 dollars so we couldn't imagine why asking for a different side would create enough of an inconvenience to the chef as to warrant an upcharge. The waitress informed us that this was non-negotiable and the rules were not made by her and she was obliged to follow them.
Another suggestion I'd like to make is for your restaurant to offer a little something special for couples celebrating a milestone anniversary like we were. It is also not wise to have new staff work the dinner hour.
Dawnie - While we are so glad you enjoyed our bar, we apologize for your disappointing dining experience. We do have some new faces, but that is no excuse for a less than stellar experience. Also, the explanation about the prices of changing sides was not quite accurate. With a character limit here, I cannot elaborate, but am happy speak to you about past or future visits. 228-233-1230. Congrats on 50 years! I hope you will give us an opportunity to celebrate with you again! -Miranda Rogers,GM
It was a beautiful restaurant with great service. It wasn’t very crowded.
Thank you for the great rating, Lynda! We hope to see you again soon!
We would have enjoyed having breakfast potatoes and vegetables. Best broccoli/cheddar soup ever but meat had a little too much garlic. Very good overall. I like more variety. Service was exceptional, atmosphere good. Some loud patrons made conversation difficult at times. Meat & cheese tray should have been available. I would return though in Hope of an expanded offering.
We were in MS for a concert and Cora's was highly recommended. We made a reservation and were not seated until 20 minutes later. Once seated, we immediately got our drinks and placed our order. We were told that the kitchen was behind, but that we would get our orders as soon as possible. We continued to wait for a while, but continuously got checked in on and had refills of drinks.
That night the kitchen had an issue with their computers and the bar and restaurant both got slammed due to the concert. We ultimately did get our food which was absolutely delicious. We had to hustle to eat it quickly to leave (but were offered to go plates). The hostess, server, and managers were all very helpful and understood that we were on a time crunch. Despite the rush, the food was hot, delicious, and plated beautifully. Without asking, our entire meal was comped by the managers who were incredibly nice and apologetic about the incident and explained the delays. I tipped our server, because she did work that night and was a good server (if you are reading this, I am sorry I didn't have more cash!). I think that from a customer service perspective, the way that this was handled was first class and I sincerely appreciated the explanation. I understand that one bad night does not make a bad restaurant. I will definitely try the restaurant again the next time I am in Biloxi.
Server starting offer dessert options while still eating entrees. He also smelled like cigarettes
The White House Hotel and Cora's Restaurant are lovely spaces. We have been wanting to try Cora's for awhile and invited friends to join us. We were greeted warmly and the staff was very friendly. However, the food itself was not acceptable or worth the price of the dinner. For example, I ordered a crab and brie chowder. "It' arrived cold and thick and I pointed this out to the waiter who immediately took it to the kitchen. When he returned, he profusely apologized saying the kitchen had sent me crab dip instead of the chowder. (This was not taken off the bill.) The trout was tough and dry and tasted fishy, a sure sign it was frozen. Sadly, overall very disappointing experience.
Great salad; need to work on potatoes and get better bread!
My husband & I were looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate our anniversary that was a non high scale casino restaurant. For the fact that it’s so hard to get reservations and it’s way overpriced. We wanted something new as well. Cora’s exceeded our expectations. Crab cakes, filet and Brussel sprouts were awesome! Drinks were spot on as well. Definitely recommend!
Ron The Host answered my phone reservation and sat up promptly. Our server was amazing.
There are only a few decent restaurants along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This is one of the best. The menu is great, as is the service. Our server was incredibly helpful with menu decisions. The charcuterie board was one of the best values I've seen in MS. Soups/salads were large and well-prepared. Every entree was perfect, whether it be fish, pasta or steak. Added bonus: no casino denizens sitting near you.
