My wife and I dined here on 2/17/18 as a late Valentine's Day date. Things did not start out great, but did pick up. I ordered the Escargot as an appetizer. They were somewhat rubbery with very little taste. For the main dish, I had the seafood crepe, which my wife and I both enjoyed. She was sharing mine because of the second issue - her main dish, the scallops were seared almost to the point of being burnt. A new plate was brought out with a lighter sear and we both enjoyed them. They did top off my wife's first glass of wine and gave us both complimentary second glasses. I think that is a professional way to handle that situation. For dessert, we shared peppermint ice cream with chocolate sauce in some sort of a soft shell. It was very good. The service was very attentive. I think the décor leaves a little to be desired. The prices were mostly reasonable, even without accounting for the $20.00 Open Table coupon we had.

Coquette is a fantastic restaurant. The food is great. I recommend their charcuterie. Dinner for two is on the high-side (about $100 with a glass of wine). This may not be your go-to place because it’s expensive, but it’s definitely worth going to for brunch, or any special occasion (birthday, anniversary, or a first date). The service is prompt and very professional. I would say the servers are more formal than familiar. That’s not a criticism.
The atmosphere is a classic French bistros, with black & white tile floor, wood chairs, and round marble tables (without table cloths). The bar is amazing. It’s large, with a metal top, near the center of the restaurant. It’s well designed, with a shelves that allow patrons to see the alcohol while either sitting at the bar, or sitting at a dinner table. The bartenders make a good Old Fashioned, and the restaurant is stocked with a decent selection of bourbon. It’s definitely worth visiting Coquette for a cocktail.
In the spring and summer the restaurant opens their large windows near the front of the restaurant. While the view looks out onto the parking lot and Six Forks road beyond, it still provides a certain amount of flair.

Great food with a French flare. Portions are not big, but very tasty. This is a great upscale restaurant without the same old food from typical restaurants.

The escargot was not fresh. The olive and date dish was served with no dates; when asked about the dates the server said they ran out earlier in the evening yet he never told us this when we ordered the dish. The rest of the food was tasty. No compensation was given to us which would be expected in a fine dining establishment. I would rather spend my money in another place. St Jaques off of Falls of Neuse is a much better choice for French food .

My wife and I really loved dining here for Valentine's Day, from the first bite to last everything was delicious! I really enjoyed the lamb loin (cooked to perfection) and the beet cured salmon is not to be missed.

Another wonderful meal at Coquette Brasserie! We celebrated Valentine's here and the prix fixe selections were delicious and the service smooth, despite a fully booked evening at the restaurant. One of our favorite spots to dine.

We selected CB as one of the Valentine's Day restaurants. It was a fixed three course menu with choices. Something for most everyone. She had the lamb and I had the ribeye. Very tasty food and creatively finished. Anice wine by the glass was also served. The restaurant and service is always very nice. No complaints here.

Coquette is one of our favorite restaurants in Raleigh. The food is always wonderful. The only negative comment has to do with making a reservation on line with open table. We had very limited time slots available to make the reservation, however, there were plenty of tables available for the time slot we really wanted. That was the first time we were disappointed by using Open Table.

Great atmosphere. Our server was very nice, polite and professional. His uniform was ask wrinkly. Forgot to bring us couple of things but overall very good. We were told after we ordered that they did not have duck. Should be explained before. Ordered seafood platter instead. Crab leg was spoiled had bad taste and odor. When I told server he said he would comunicate to Chef. Did not hear back. Beef tartar was very nice. Terrine did not taste fresh, foie gras was tasty but the bread it sat on was hard as a rock. Beet and nicoise salad were very nice. Scalops were amazing with great presentation. Overall great atmosphere, expected way more when it comes to food.

Our server was not attentive whatsoever. We had to track her down for drink refills, to clear the plates (we were done eating for almost 30 minutes) and for the bill. It was so frustrating because we had my fiancé’s parents in town and the food was cold and just not good. Very disappointing experience

Went here to try some delicious French food and this place did not disappoint. Definitely make a reservation, at least for the dinner meal times. This place was packed and did not seem to slow down until 10pm!

The menu wasn't really explained to us as the servers appeared very busy. The way we decided to go forward ordering was:
appetizer- charcuterie board made with local honey hive, 3 meats, 3 cheese, mustard and jam
2nd course- seafood crepe made with crab, shrimp, cheese and a heavy cream
Individual entrees - salmon plate and scallops meal

A bread basket came out with fresh butter to start the meal. I think everything was excellent. I wish I had more room to eat my entree! The honey was fresh and sweet, the crepe was light, yet rich with flavor and the seafood entrees were cooked perfectly with well paired vegetable sides and purees.

Overall great dining experience. Our waitress and the wine manager were superb, timely and conversational. The only service issue we had was that we waiting 10 to 15 minutes past our reservation time ... no real biggie. I can see where it can get noisy, as the dining by the bar seemed to be most prone to that. However, we sat further back and the noise gets cut off. As long as no big parties are in back, the noise level was low and good for a date and conversation. It isn't the cheapest eating in Raleigh, but well worth it and the food is phenomenal.

Saturday night dinner was out first venture into Coquette. Noise level and ambiance were what I would expect from a busy restaurant. Unfortunately, 3 our of 4 main courses and a side dish were completely cold by the time they were served. Our waitress seemed to lack confidence and did not really the menu well. I can imagine that if those two issues were to be addressed, out experience would have been outstanding. We will give this restaurant one more try in the future.

We were three for dinner and our meals were delicious! The food was fresh and expertly prepared with the flavors perfectly balanced. The service was attentive without being overbearing. Everyone that took care of us seemed to genuinely care about making our experience pleasant. We went early in the evening so the noise level was modest and supporting conversation, but it did seem like it might get to be too noisy for my taste later in the evening, as the space was a bit live. I would definitely recommend Coquette to a friend and look forward to going again myself.

I haven't been in many years, so I met a couple of friends for brunch during Restaurant Week. We sampled all 3 of the first course items, and they were all wonderful. And then we each has the salmon, rare, which was delicious. It was rounded out with a decadent dark chocolate dessert that was to die for. C'est si bon!
