This is my favorite restaurant in Raleigh, it's so good. All of the menu items have great flavor! We go there on a dates, we bring our family, I even had a dinner with my girls there for a upscale bachelorette party( if there is such a thing!) they have never disappointed me!
We come weekly and love the food and service! We usually sit outside but inside is great too.
Coquette Brasserie at North Hill in Raleigh is one of my frequent choices for a vey good restaurant to catch up with friends and family--or celebrate a special occasion. Menu selections, food preparation, and service are always excellent. The complimentary breads and butter are always a bonus. My salmon was cooked to order and delicious.
Coquette is a go-to for excellent food and ambiance.
This was our first visit to Coquette. My husband and I met our son and his girlfriend for Sunday brunch. The service was excellent as was the food. You can't beat $3 mimosas! I do think the tables are a bit close together, but it didn't bother our visit.
Entres were lacking, I’ve had more meat at a Subway on sandwiches and wife’s salad was very slim on ingredients.
Three of us went for the restaurant week menu. Turns out they did not offer that at brunch. OK, let's adjust. Of the three dishes we ordered (Steak au Poivre Benedict, Steak Sandwich, Le Hamburger), we would only recommend Le Hamburger. Both the dishes with steak were just so-so, as the steak was tough.
The service was good and the bread was great, but I would not order any steak dish.
The food and service was good but the portions were somewhat small and overpriced. Otherwise we enjoyed the evening.
We were drawn here by the North Hills Restaurant Week promotion as a pre-theater dinner venue. We will be back for sure as there were many items on the menu wanted to taste even after sharing among four people. Each item we had was excellent, interesting tastes, nicely presented. The only nit was the bread was not warmed which we would have expected with all the other quality. The service was prompt, informed, unobtrusive and very responsive. Drink refills came without asking, egg that came out soft boiled (because we forgot to ask for hard boiled) was replaced instantly with an apology! Really delighted to find this new place to add to our list.
3rd time there with wife & friends and all 3 were great!
The French vibe was like being back n New Orleans but in Raleigh ! We will return for the Sidecar cocktail which was the best ever ! The staff was amazing, fun and friendly and very helpful with our dinner choices. I loved the charcuterie tray and the entire French atmosphere !
Busy due to restaurant week. Service was little slower than I like
Excellent food and atmosphere
Always great!!! The quiche is amazing. The service is top notch and they’ve added macaroons made by their pastry chef that were delicious. We drive from Greensboro to eat here and it never disappoints.
The person who took our order did not bring the food. The person who had our order gave it to the wrong people. We had to wait a long time to get our order. We did the restaurant week menu and the food was good except for the salmon entree the potatoes were over cooked,
The food & service was very good. One of my favorite places for a special meal with friends
Went for N. Hills Restaurant Week. Bit disappointed in the menu choices/options and pricing didn't seem to be a value or different from standard menu. Great wait person!
Everything was outstanding.
We remembered how good is french food.
The most memorable part of the dining experience was the staff. Your staff was wonderful and accomodating. A late arrival and a tight schedule is always hard to explain, but each was handled with understanding and complete satisfaction. The food was great and we will come again when time is not of the essence.
The $2 Mimosas in Sunday’s are FANTASTIC! The food was great! Pancakes and the Spinach Quiche is Amazing!
Outstanding service from time we stepped in the door... hostess and server Meredith were exceptional! Great quality food, although slightly pricey (but we knew that going in). Love the look of the place, but very uncomfortable in the chair toward end of the meal... maybe we shouldn't have lingered that long.
Perfect food and service again as usual. My fiancé and I go weekly and will continue to do so!
Brett, our server, made the dining experience that much better and it was already fabulous.
The onion soup is delicious. For someone who hates eggs, there are many things on the menu I don’t like. The steak is really good.
Love this restaurant. Only real complaint is that the fries were cold.
Another great meal tonight! We shared the scallops and salmon-both outstanding. Service was friendly and attentive.
Food and service were outstanding. My wife and I have never had a disappointing meal at Coquettes. The Mussels and Scallops were wonderful as was the beet salad. Their bread is always delicious and they always have exceptional wines by the glass
We love going to Coquette, the staff is awesome and everyone is helpful and kind. The food is outstanding and the fried brussel sprouts are the best.
It was good but the food is rich as is most French food. I had s nice time visiting with my siblings.
One of the best French restaurants I’ve ever eaten at!
Very disappointing. Butter was SO salty, it was unbearable. Hangar steak was tough and chewy and served with a brandy peppercorn sauce that was incredibly peppery and salty- not the smooth sauce with a hint of peppercorn that it should be. Learned that the chef was new. He needs to return to culinary school. Told the waiter that the sauce was ruining the dish, so much so that I was making a dam of the fries to keep the sauce away from the meat. No offer to fix or switch out the dish. I do not recommend at all. We have eaten in French restaurants in NYC, Montreal and Quebec and sorry to say, this restaurant's quality doesn't even come close.
Early dinner for 2 while passing through on a Monday evening. Steak frites, crab crepes and beet salad delicious. Cheesecake with Blueberries shared for dessert. Service attentive but not obtrusive. Nice crowd by the time we were leaving at 6:15.
I especially like Coquette's spectacular quiche. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service was perfect. Great restaurant!
The coffee, quiche/salad, and turkey sandwich were delish! The waiter was excellent, refilling drinks on time, and checking back with us as needed. I have been to this restaurant many times, and brought my mom to celebrate her 85 birthday. She absolutely loved it! We will definitely return! Thanks so much!
Excellent Service from Zach. Very enjoyable evening - Awesome Oysters on the Half Shell.
Food is always good. Great place for brunch. Service was outstanding.
Great place for a gourmet lunch. Pretty true to french cuisine. Everything we ordered was great. The service was good. A real french brasserie feeling. Had the croque madame but I would love to try the quiche next time!
Freezing inside. Super expensive beers. Food is ok and waitress was good.
The food was delicious and our waitress was fantastic. We will definitely be going back again!
Cafe Food at White Tablecloth prices.
You can get by with just a nosh here, but one or two drinks and you are not casual dining anymore. There's a 20 oz draft for $14, wow. The entrees were very nicely presented but no vegetable included. The desserts were very well done. See if they'll bring you just a couple of macarons!
The service was eager and friendly but unpolished.
A very slow night so Coquette was not as loud as it usually is.
The window tables are charming especially when the windows are open, but can get crowded with glasses, menus. The zinc bar and ceramic floor are cute, but echo when they're busy.
A charming place but easy to overspend. Fortunately, my guy was feeling big hearted, especially after a high gravity 20 oz draft, or two!
