As usual, we had a great experience. We like eating at one of the cafe tables which are first come first serve. Great atmosphere! We both had salmon. Mine was the entree. My wife had salmon on a salad. Excellent! We will be back!
Went for a get together with friends and they provided us with the table we requested on open table so we were very pleased! Wonderful food and service. Always a favorite!
Coquette is an exceptional restaurant with delicious mussels, breads, desserts. The ambiance is quite special.
I had the restaurant week menu. The soup was very salty, salad drenched in dressing (only greens, nothing else) and the trout had no seasoning at all. The dessert, chocolate cake (not part of the restaurant week menu) was delicious.
The trirestaurant week special introduced us to this restaurant. It met all our expectations and more. A definite keeper and I have already recommended to friends.
Unfortunately the quality of food prep has gone downhill. My steak was very tough after sending back for being overlooked with cold frites. The frites I received with the 2d steak were great but steak was hardly chewable. Used to be great. Meat source should be reviewed by management 🤣
My husband and I had lunch at Coquette during Triangle Restaurant Week. The prix fixe selections were very good and we had a thoroughly enjoyable mid-week lunch. I had the beet gazapacho, which was excellent. The fennel oil and garnish added to the presentation and taste. My husband loved his French onion soup and frissee salad with lardon and hard boiled egg. I was disappointed that they had run out of the terrine I had selected; the chaucuter they substituted was okay, but nothing I'd order on another visit. My entrée was trout, which was very good; my husband opted for the steak sandwich with French fries. We both enjoyed the food and the experience and would definitely recommend Coquette to others.
Restaurant week at Coquette Brasserie is always exceptional!!
our food for the first time ever was just fair and our table was inside but attacked by flies the entire evening!!
we told the waiter who ignored us !
We had an enjoyable, delicious meal. We both had the trout dish and it was cooked perfectly and plated beautifully. The server was helpful and checked back with us several times to check if we needed anything.
VERY disappointed in their Triangle Restaurant Week selection. Wife and I had gone to 4 restaurants in the Fall Restaurant Week and Couquette was far and away the best. This was the worst ever. New Chef??? Dishes did not match or blend. Will not go there again next Restaurant Week.
Wonderful food and service
Good service and the food was good. Would like more salad choices and a soup & salad combo.
Wonderful food and service! Haley our waitress was spectacular
My husband and I both had the crispy duck leg. It was over salted for our taste and not crispy at all. Duck fat can be tasty, but when it pools on the meat, it turns everything else greasy and unappetizing. My potatoes, hidden under the duck, was soaked until they dripped fat onto the plate themselves. We have eaten at Coquette's several times before, often with our French son-in-law. We have always been impressed with the food before. It will be a long time before we try again.
Service was great. The hostess was too worried about handing out menus to care about the guest getting settled in their chairs. The onion soup was good but the beef bourginon had a watery sauce that was low in flavor, probably diluted from the original, the noodles were not Al dente, and it desperately needed seasoning.
We had a lovely time, and the service was excellent. Our only disappointment was the dauphinois that accompanied the scallops was dry and we were expecting something much creamier. Three of us ordered the same dish, and had the same impression.
Thanks for listening,
Pamela Weaver Best
Waitress could have been friendlier instead of rolling her eyes when we said we needed a few minutes to look at the menu.
It's been awhile since I've had the opportunity to dine as my schedule has been so busy.
I always love dining here , wish I had the time to more often.
My server , Josselyn was so fabulous I recommend she "train servers" all over the Triangle.
Food spot on as always !!
Maybe some areas in the restaurant the tables a little too close. Not all, just some as making conversation a little difficult.
Overall, great visit👏👏
Both the food and the service were excellent. Highly recommended.
This is a fabulous find in North Hills (Raleigh). Food is a good selection that fits everyone's appetite. I can't wait to go again.
Very enjoyable! Look forward to over next visit.
Was definitely worth it. Great food, fantastic service, server made fabulous suggestions must go!
This was our first visit to Coquettes and we were very impressed with the food, service and ambiance. We have already recommended it to friends and are looking for an opportunity to return with some new friends.
Great service an food as usual. Love the seafood crepes.
Always treated like VIP consistently wonderful all around!
Great food and well trained staff make a special occasion effortless.
We stumbled into Coquette Brasserie 5 year ago and go there whenever we’re in Raleigh.
Delicious brunch. We split the Nutella crepes and quiche Lorraine. No one minded the mimosas either! Really enjoyed it.
Great place on a rainy Saturday to have excellent choices for brunch or lunch. Outstanding fries with the steak. Had reservations so appreciated the call the day before to let us know about the auto show on the street level parking lot and where to find best parking option.
For several years we have been coming to La Coquette for my birthday celebration. It is one of my favorites in the Triangle. Wonderful food ; the steak tartare was done just right and the Bouillabaisse was delicious, with a generous chunk of fresh fish! The ambience is lively, but not excessive, with an authentic French feel.
This restaurant is a constant favorite. I use it for birthdays, special events, business lunches, everything! Lunch and dinner menus have different items and all are amazing! Service is always fast. Come prepared to try new, authentic french foods!
To begin, our table was not ready at our reservation time of 1115am. So we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the table. We arrived early to make sure we hit the reservation time. This unfortunately meant keeping tabs on our kids in the hot waiting area even longer. Not fun.
Then, our server was not very friendly. We had a table of 6 (4 children). The table next to us also had a few children and their server was much more accommodating with their children. That table's server brought waters in styrofoam cups with straws. We got glass, no straws for children ages 9/6/4/13 months. Very lucky nothing was broken. But this made our lives at the table much harder watching them take drinks. Refills on waters were poor, glasses mostly empty at the table. Lastly the final request we made to our server was to bring a few more syrups for the pancakes the kids ordered. He brought one extra. Really?
This was our first time here and likely will be our last trip here. It is highly unfortunate because we were given good reviews on Coquette.
The food was fantastic. Service was awesome. Loved the atmosphere and everything about it.
Our service was excellent but the food was mediocre at best. Usually excellent food.
Took my brother here for his birthday...had a wonderful time. Definitely will be back.
Our go-to for brunch. Amazing every time.
