Food took over an hour to arrive at the table, and what was worst is that it was cold.
Our server Brooke was really outstanding. Food choices were great. Would have liked some sauce on the chicken crepes but they were delicious. Presentation was great. Loved the breads.
This was our groups first experience with this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food and drinks were excellent. We had friends visiting from out of town and they stated it was one of the best French restaurants they had experienced. The service was great as well.
Great service. Great food. Fair price. We were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary and the manager acknowledged that in a special and unexpected way.
The girls enjoyed the food, we will return.
Absolutely wonderful place. Had our anniversary dinner and definitely coming back again!
My family & I had dinner here for my birthday. It wasn’t our first time, but it was just as spectacular as usual. This is one of my favorite places in Raleigh, despite my disdain for North Hills. The service is always top notch, the food is consistently delicious, & the drinks are creatively refreshing.
I’d requested not to be seated near a high traffic area when I booked the reservation on line but they tried to seat my small group at a table just outside the double kitchen doors. When I mentioned this to the hostess as she was showing us our table, she was unapologetic and her body language showed attitude about me speaking up. This made a bad start to what should have been a nice family dinner. Thank goodness our table server was good and the food was fine.
We’ve enjoyed Coquette for brunch but have never been at dinner time. St first, the service was very slow but improved near the end of our meal.
For what we got for our entrees, the prices were exorbitant.
I assume it was overpriced because of Mother’s Day.
We will try the brunch some day but won’t go back for dinner.
It was a nice mother's day treat. We will go there again for mother's day or a special event.
Top notch place as always! The service, the food, the atmosphere are all fantastic. THANK YOU!
I was extremely disappointed in my experience at Coquette Brasserie. We were seated on time, but waited 20 minutes for water glasses. The food was extremely slow, and although the waiter sent back my kiddo's food because the plate was too hot, one can assume that is because it sat under a heatlamp too long. My crepes had no bacon jam in them as described, only apples and applesauce. I know it was Mother's Day, but they really have to do better.
I enjoyed my meal at the restaurant but I was expecting it to be more flavorful. The steak Benedict was recommended by a friend and it was a little bland, unfortunately. The truffle fries were spot on though. Our waiter was very busy, it seemed like the restaurant could have used another staff member or two on the floor. I like the vibe of the place, I think I just expected more.
We had to wait a little bit for our reserved space but it was worth the wait! The restaurant was very busy with Mothers' Day and college graduation patrons; the management and our wait staff were very cognizant of this and did everything they could do make our experience the best possible. Wonderful food and atmosphere.
Too crowded, too much time between courses, table not ready when we arrived. Cassoulet dish is terrible.
Having lived in France, I appreciate the authenticity of Coquette. It’s casual and charming, and the details are there. The decor is spot on, and the menu works for even the least adventurous eaters. A few favorites are the beef burgundy, croque madame and crispy skin salmon. The Niçoise salad is great, too. I can’t get enough of the truffle frites. Every time I go, I need to pop over to the bar to admire the zinc countertop. It’s beautiful!
There is little separation between tables in certain areas. Our table was next to four people who talked very loud. Make a table request when making a reservation for something in a location that will allow you to have a conversation.
Exceptionally good food and atmosphere. Top shelf serve.
As usual Food was great. Hostess was very gracious and agreed to take a photo of us outside after the meal. Regrettably cannot remember server’s name. Whereas he “did his job,” his attitude left a lot to be desired - he appeared totally disinterested, was not welcoming or warm nor attempted to enhance our experience. Tall man. Our reservation for 4 was 1:45. We were seated on same station as a large family with children. Perhaps that’ll help identify the server.
Always a great place to dine.
Great service, good food and nice atmosphere.
From the pictures on their website and the reviews on OpenTable I expected a much higher quality establishment. This felt like a very upscale chain, maybe a step above Carrabba's only French. I expected to be able to have an intimate dinner and instead is crammed on what felt like a large bench seat with single chairs on the sides of two seaters. Like I am prepared to spend fine dining money on a fine dining experience but this wasnt it. The potato croquettes were deep fried out and tasted frozen. We realized what sort of limited overall quality we were headed into and politely spoke to staff and left. Great, understanding service but not fine dining nice.
Great night out. Professional staff, well prepared and presented food. Great experience.
Brian was an excellent server. Admittedly new, but still did an excellent job! Having lived in France, I feel qualified to say the food was incredibly authentic and definitely delicious!! We will be back!
Great food, professional and friendly staff, wonderful venue. Love it when weather allows the open wall-windows.
Perfect place for Sunday brunch!! The $2 mimosas are an added bonus 😊
Waiter was horrible , who ever gave this place 5 stars should be shot....
Thought the food was very average and bland. Not what I expected at all.
Waitress not the best we have had there and my take home box had my steak frites and Brussel sprouts were just dumped in on top of each other which was very disappointing
We sat on the bar since we arrived 45 minutes early. The menu offered a variety and value. Two in our party had the le Burger and each was cooked perfectly. Two had the hangar steak frites with the peppercorn sauce. Again, steaks were cooked perfectly. Our drinks were excellent. Friends elsewhere in the restaurant sent Easter colored macarons and they were delicious. After sparkling wine I had a sidecar. This is a drink that not all bartenders know. Not only did ours know it, all the ingredients were fresh. The best I've ever had.
Went for Easter brunch and had a very nice experience. We did not feel hurried And the service was terrific.
We had a great Easter breakfast at Coquette. The food was excellent as was the service. We'll be back!
My son came in from Atlanta and we took him and girlfriend to dinner.
Food and service was excellent
The food was excellent, service was very good. The one thing we did not like was the location of our table
It was in the main walkway.
Excellent as always (second visit).
I can recommend the tuna tartare, the hanger steak frites, and the rack of lamb. The wine list seems good; our viognier was very pleasant.
The only reason I gave it a 4 for value is that it is not cheap, but neither is it outrageous, particularly given the location.
Excellent food and excellent service. The menu has a wide variety of selections and we look forward to trying all of them.
Great ambience but food quality has declined. I had croque monsieur; two pieces of white bread not toasted drenched in way too much cheese not browned on top. This is a far cry from the genuine French version
